There was no wait so as a walk in, solo diner, that was a huge plus. The food was sub par at best. I probably wouldn't go back but it was fast and filling.
We came here for breakfast and had a good meal. The eggs and pancakes were tasty and filling. They have some funky super sweet pancake options, but we didn't want to experiment with too sweet as we want some good protein to fuel our day ahead. The staff were friendly but running around and super busy. The location is at the far end of the LINQ closer to the ferris wheel.
Nice stop for a snack. Can't beat the $3 frozen Margherita with$1 tequila float. Shared some wings, buffalo was much better than garlic butter. The wings were descent size and fried hard. Noticed plates on other tables, breakfast foods and salad looked good, too. Service was excellent, friendly.
Maxie's at the Linq was a really solid stop when I needed something quick and satisfying. The food was excellent and surprisingly reasonably priced for being right in the middle of the Strip. It's definitely not fine dining, but that's kind of the point here. The diner style menu hit the spot for lunch without taking itself too seriously. It's a great option when you want something familiar, filling, and easy before heading back out into the Vegas chaos.
I'm a foodie who eats with her eyes first, so finding Maxie's tuuked in a corner of the LINQ Promenade, I had to try it out! The visit was an absolute delight and I think I smiled from the moment we walked in. They have a bright, retro-inspired interior with neon signs, bold colors, and playful decor that feels like a modern twist on a classic diner. Kind of casual but full of personality, and the energy is upbeat without being chaotic. We went for brunch, and the menu was a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Everything was over-the-top in the best way, from the towering pancake stacks to the fruit topped waffles and stuffed benedict that looked like it belonged in a food competition. The food wasn't just flashy; it was genuinely delicious. Sweet dishes were indulgent without being excessively sweet, and the savory options were hearty and satisfying. Service was fast and friendly, and even though the place was busy, the staff kept things moving smoothly. It's a great spot for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to kick off their Vegas day with something fun and flavorful. It was truly an experience. When we left, we were full, happy, and already planning a return visit the following day. It's one of the first things I recommend to everyone I know when they ask about where to eat.
Maxie's offers a wide variety of options, including a full bar and breakfast and dinner fare. They have gluten free bread, and make a pretty good twist on Benedict with bacon and great holendase sauce. The service was friendly, and they are located right next to High Roller. I had low expectations, but enjoyed the experience for a late night meal.
Ambiance was more of a three, but the Denver Benedict was a solid five. I'm not sure what witchcraft went into toasting that bread inside and out, but this tasted like a giant egg in a hole, and I am here for it. It comes by itself with zero sides, but I did not walk away hungry. They work quickly here, turning tables with precision, and everyone is professional and kind. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I would come back for more benedicts.
David made our night! We were one of his last tables on a busy night but he was energetic and fun. The food was good and the menu is extensive. They had a $1 wing special and they were meaty and cooked perfectly. Our group also shared a chicken flatbread and a burger with fries. The coffee with Baileys was great on a cold night. A fun venue!
Unfortunately, Maxies missed the mark for me. The food was only okay and came out a little cold. I ordered the vegas breakfast and got overmedium eggs. They came out very runny and undercooked. Potatoes weren't crispy. Luckily the toast was great. My husband got chicken and waffles- the chicken was good, and the waffle was okay. The service was terrible. We sat down and weren't served or talked to for several minutes. Then when we finally ordered, half the drinks we ordered were forgotten and there was no one coming around to refill our coffee and water. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not really sure what the holdup was.
We stumbled across Maxie's and decided to have breakfast. What a great choice! Good food and Bloody Mary's. Great service. Will definitely return next time we are in Vegas!
My friends and I decided to try this place for breakfast. The only available seating was outside or at the bar. We chose the bar which wasn't a good idea if you want good service. The place wasn't super busy which was good. The bartender was not very engaging. We had to ask his name. When we asked about coffee options he didn't know what we meant by that. Then he finally showed us the menu with latte and specialty coffee options. The food came out quick. It was prepared well. Food portions are good. It was nice to try something new that's not offered in my home state. I just wished the service was better to enjoy a Maxie diner experience.
Had breakfast here this morning the food was good for a little diner on the linq they had a pretty decent selection with lots of waitresses helping out taking orders and bringing out the food . Also walking distance from the flamingo hotel.
Good was great! I would definitely recommend splitting plates if you want to try an abundance of different items bc the portion sizes are pretty large! Service was great. Everyone was friendly. We sat outside the weather was perfect; the music was a bit loud but over all I'm happy with my experience here!

Very disappointed with Maxie's. Saw the pictures on Yelp which made my mouth water & tried not to read too much into the reviews. Absolutely no wait when we got there around 9am, greeted by friendly young personnel (actually looked like high schoolers) in a half empty restaurant. The service was good, the food was just ok. The food is WAY over priced for what you get. I understand it's Vegas but the chicken and waffles do not compare in anyway to Hash House A Go Go (taste & price). Oh, and don't go there for the yummy looking donuts you see here on Yelp. Our waiter said they only had them for the first couple weeks when the opened! I don't know what the lunch & dinner food is like but I just don't see a reason to go back. read more

Once I arrived I was put on a waitlist , understandable , they're busy . However as a party of 2 , there were at least 4 tables I counted that was available . Other parties before us were much larger . The one table we were looking at has been vacant the WHOLE time of us waiting , ONLY for them to sit us at that same vacant table . The menu is what enticed us to come but the staff's energy isn't as attractive as the menu . We were sitting for 10 minutes before we were addressed by a waitress . Another couple (non black) sat down 10 minutes after us and was greeted after 2 minutes . There was also this weird thing on the ketchup bottle , I was scared to touch it . Do they even sanitize these after use ? I also just witnessed a staff member "clean the table" with her bare hands . You GOT to be kidding me . Also , they have DOORS for people to walk through , instead they had groups of people walking past our table while we eat . The guest who were waiting to be seated would crowd by the railing we were sitting near and I had the undesirable view of peoples ASS in my face . The food was PHENOMENAL as well as they guy who brought it to us , but the experience was not good enough for me to want to come back . As this being my first experience , it was not a good one . We were here for brunch last week and it was amazing! Lots to choose from on the menu. I ended up with the BBQ pork benedict and it was amazing. The lady sitting at the next table had the cotton candy pancakes. That was my second choice...LOL We ended up having to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated. Not bad at all. Best brunch in ages! We had the fruity pebbles French toast and brioche eggs Benedict. The portions are large, so order a variety and share. I was afraid the French toast would be overly sweet, but the thick cut bread combined with the cream cheese spread made for delicious flavors. Not to be missed if you are a foodie! read more

The wait was extremely long but the host was very pleasant with myself and my party . When we finally was seated the place was empty like I could count on one hand how many people was seated. A couple got up and walked out I'm assuming due to the long wait. Our waitress was prompt and efficient. Which was cool but once the food came it was like warm and just was mediocre. The host did say that the restaurant had been open only three days. Things are still probably being worked out which is understandable. I end up paying $100 between brunch and parking and my experience was less then expected. read more

This place is amazing. I felt like a a kid again walking into this place. The staff is friendly and energetic. The food was amazing and unique. We stopped in because we saw the crazy desert that they have on Facebook. We ended up coming in for dinner and im glad we did. The portions are huge and the prices area really good for such large portions. We didnt even get to finish everything because there was so much food. My son loved the chicken zingers and he's super picky. We shared the Chicken parmigiana and Rib eye because i couldn't decide on what to get. This is definitely a must visit place when you come to the Linq, or vegas for that matter. read more

Maxie's was great , the customer service was excellent we didn't have to stop a waiter for anything they paid attention to us the whole dine in . We sat outside and ate our food there . The waffles were very full and thick not too fluffy and just right . We didn't have to ask for refills on water because the waiter brought us water around the clock. The potatoes were great , the only thing I disliked about the the chicken and waffles was that there was berries on them with syrup. The menu has a variety of option I believe would be fun for children ! I totally would come back to try the fruity pebble French toast or the cotton candy pancakes. Overall this place was awesome and I'd definitely come back for a second visit ... OK SO I CAME BACK !!! I got the waffle stacker and the fruity pebble French toast ! Found this place while looking for another at the end of the linq area in Vegas a really fun, happening area with no joke like 20 restaurants to pick from and ironically we couldnt find the one we planned to find. The options were very fun. Festive french toast and pancakes and anything else you could want. Our waitress and everyone else around was so friendly. I gave it 4 stars only because I wished my meal came with a side and a side of bacon was $6. But it was all delicious! read more

I have eaten here twice in the past 6 weeks. I had a bad experience the first time with the biscuit and gravy dish. So I decided to go back for a second chance. This time I ordered the eggs Benedict. When the food was delivered it looked wonderful. I was a little concerned that the Brioche loaf would be too much. I was right. The first thing I noticed is that this meal is literally sitting on top of a huge amount of bread. So much that you have to separate the bread from the rest of the ingredients in order to taste more than bread. Upon doing this, I discovered that the spinach underneath the eggs is not fresh spinach, but cooked spinach. This makes a huge difference, instead of being light and fresh, the spinach just loaded up the bread with spinach juice. Completely ruining any chance of this $17 meal being salvaged. This restaurant has some progressive ideas but stay away until they refine their execution Update: I appreciate the Manager replying to this review. The server, upon returning to the table asked me if everything was ok. I said that I had expected the item to have fresh spinach not cooked spinach and I didn't like it. (The picture posted was what I left). Her comment to me was "Oh, I'm sorry about that. Let me get your check." And walked away. I'm not one to ask for free food or refunds. Nor do I feel that it was warranted in this case. My review is simply stating that I don't like the food and there are a lot of other options. It's just my opinion. read more

Holy hangover... this blueberry clucker is giving me life!!!! Maxie's is near the Linq and brand new. I stumbled in here today because the line for hash house a gogo was outrageous and man am i glad it was. Maxie's menu has a large variety from eggs Benedict, to creative French toasts, breakfast sandwiches and burgers. Check out all the way at the bottom #40. The blueberry clucker is fried chicken, blueberry mayo, blueberry jam, pepper jack cheese i believe, jalapeños and coleslaw. Jay was my waiter today and actually recommended it! Ask for him! I came here yesterday with my boyfriend. Our server, Dee, was wonderful. She was quick and attentive. My complaint is that I can tell none of the food was handmade. I got the waffle stack, and you can tell immediately that the waffle comes from a mix, the eggs are from a carton, and the sausage is frozen jimmy dean sausage. The bacon on my sandwich also had no flavor. I don't like going to restaurants where everything is frozen or premade for the cook's convenience, especially when the entree was pretty mediocre. I don't think I'd come back here due to the food being so obviously frozen and reheated. read more

The food options were unique. We had the pepperoni pizza omelette and fruity pebble's French toast. Both were decent but nothing to write home about. The biggest issue I had was the price.
