After my initial appointment for a breast reduction and a tummy tuck, I was enthusiastic about proceeding with the surgery. Despite this, during my pre-op appointment, I was informed that my BMI was too high, which I believe should have been communicated to me at the very beginning. I scheduled my surgery date and paid in full, assuming everything was in order. Following your request, I allowed you to keep my cash payment while I worked on my weight loss. Now that my insurance will cover the procedure, I requested my refund for the cash payment in the first week of May 2025. However, it's been 45 days, and I still haven't received my money. You've given me multiple excuses: first, you couldn't find my $20,000 payment despite me providing the receipt; second, the person responsible for authorizing payments is out of town; and third, the individual who signs checks is also unavailable. This is unacceptable. I need my refund processed immediately. I can no longer accept a check; I require the funds to be wired to me or for me to pick up the cash in person, as that is how I initially paid. Please respond promptly with a resolution. My patience has worn thin, and I expect this matter to be resolved without further delay.

I was not pressured into anything in fact karen explained that not everyone is a good canditate for a hair transplant and wanted to check my donor area to make sure what i wanted done was even possible. After it was determined 2500 grafts was possible they explained the procedure and the after effects of the procedure and also what can go wrong. I was suprised they didnt promise me fabio hair like the other places but kept things realistic. I left to think about it and karen gave me the time and space i needed, after a week i called back with more questions and decided to make the appointment. Karen worked with me in financing part of the surgery through care credit and i was ready to go. The actual procedure was exactly how dr. Rachel and karen said it would be. Not painful but uncomfortable , which i was able to handle ok. After a few days post opp i felt great. Just follow the directions karen gives you dont try to wing it and you will be fine. Ok now is the part that started to worry me i suffered a lot of shock loss from the procedure where i lost a ton of non transplanted hair. I showed up at the clinic super worried Karen checked out my hair along with the Dr. They determined alot of it will come back. Karen decided to help the situation by doing micro needling and prp to to to help with the shock loss. After several treatments my hair begain filling in and know im very happy how well it turned out. They went out of there way to help me get the look i wanted. They worked with me even a year and half after the transplant, when i had concerns they addressed them. Karen responds to my calls or texts within an hour and is ALWAYS available to help. When i was struggling with the shock loss a good 10 months after surgery they could of ignored me or make excuses, instead they took corrective actions leaving me happy with the results !!

I said yes and came in at 1:30 PM and was directed to a room to sit in and the door was closed. I heard the counselor I was speaking to someone else in the next room over. They were in the middle of an appointment. I figured it was almost over and I waited another 10 minutes and heard the woman leave. But just before she left, I heard her ask the counselor if she was taking up her time because someone else came in (meaning me.) The counselor said no one else is here, even though I was sitting in the room with the door closed. Just then, someone else came in and the same counselor took that other woman into the next room and started speaking to her, all the while I'm still waiting to speak to someone for my 1:30 PM appointment. My appointment was for 1:30 PM. Not for 1:50 PM or after she saw the second person. I called to check on the time because my time is important and I felt like my time was not important enough to this clinic and it made me feel like a number. It seems like they are overscheduled and I just left at 1:50 after I was still sitting in the room, waiting. No one called to apologize or ask me what happened.

Her office is very clean, I went in and was greeted with a very friendly staff. Dr. Melamed took us in and began our consultation before our procedures. I told her that I have had Juvederm vollure injected, 6 months prior, in November at a different office. I also mentioned that I was looking for more volume with this appointment. She advised that she would recommend that we inject Juvederm ultra plus instead of the Juvederm ultra in order to achieve the results i was looking for. She had her assistant in the room with us to have a second set of eyes and opinion. She made adjustments throughout the procedure as needed and I cannot he happier with my results.
