Four stars for the vibe of the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. Staff is welcoming and they engage with the customers. Fun restaurant to hang out with friends and have a few drinks or sing karaoke. I'm used to authentic Chinese food so the food is honestly too Americanized to me. The quality and authenticity of food could use some improvement. Regardless, there really aren't many options in Marysville for Chinese food. This restaurant has been around for a long time so it's always nice to support a local business.

Sometimes you just need to find that perfect little dive bar. Sarah the bartender was awesome! The restaurant is definitely older and an acquired taste as far as decor, but aren't most dives. Plenty of parking out front. Located in a strip mall. We sat in the lounge area, so not sure how the restaurant is. Food was fresh and hot, drinks were spot on. Everyone was very friendly. I'll be back.

    Sour and hot soup

The food is very good, especially for the price very large portion comes with soup, then 3 different types of meat I got the almond chicken and the Szechuan chicken, and it came with fried prawns The sweet-and-sour sauce goes really well with the fried prawns. Also comes with fried rice. I would definitely come back. Service is great. Food was great and they have a nice bar with great ambiance. It's a great local restaurant where alot of the locals go.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever tried. Wanted something new and this was NOT the place to go. We ordered chicken chow mein, pork chow mein, orange chicken, cashew chicken and egg drop soup with a side of white rice. Let's start with the chow meins. They both are flavorless, the meat in both looks the EXACT SAME! Poor quality of food and flavor. Orange chicken was actually okay which is why this got one star. Flavor was okay, little gritty on the meat. Cashew chicken had the same issue that chow mein had, flavorless and bland. It's like the chicken was not seasoned or marinated, just boiled and served. Horrid. The last meal item we got was the egg drop soup and rice. Egg drop soup is one of my favorite things at restaurants but here it was anything but. Absolutely a terrible color of yellow and had weird additions in it that I couldn't tell what they are. The white rice was mushy and tasted like it was instant rice. And the fortune cookies tasted like corn flakes, with very bad "fortunes" half of them didn't make sense. I was not pleased, nor will I be coming back.

*sigh* I ended up here again…read more By myself, I would never revisit a place that I gave such a low score to, but I'm here for New Year's, and my mom dragged me here again. And to be fair, there really aren't a lot of options for Chinese restaurants this far north of Seattle. Most of the other ones in the area are probably worse than this, which is a mildly disturbing thought. I do like the dishes we ordered this time a bit more. I especially thought this seafood tofu soup thing was.....I'm not gonna call it good. But it was alright. Yeah, it's way too starchy in that weird American-Chinese restaurant way. And yeah, the peas and mini corn kind of pisses me off. And yeah, it tastes a little like processed garbage. But in the end, dump some pepper and hot sauce into it, and it's rather enjoyable. You can taste the MSG also. LOL My mom likes the happy family, so we ordered that again. Also got some green bean chicken recommended by the waitress, which is....not terrible. Everything kind of looks and tastes the same, like last time. That oppressive American-Chinese oiliness that I will hate to love forever. This is one of the Chinese restaurants of all time and one of the reviews of all time.

Our dining experience began with cold appetizers, including a mixed black fungus dish with a satisfying crunch and tangy vinegar flavor, alongside pickled lotus root vegetables with a garlicky and subtly spicy taste. For our main courses, we opted for the Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style, which was filled with cod fish, had a lighter batter coating, and a pleasing crunch, but beware of its savory and fiery flavor, which intensifies after several bites. We also selected the Szechuan Hometown Tofu, which offered our taste buds a savory flavor, enhanced by chili sauce, a crunchy exterior, and a soft, silky interior. On the side, we ordered a bowl of steamed purple rice and white rice. This exceptional culinary experience combines the perfect balance of crunchiness, chili spice, garlicky freshness, and sweetness, rich flavors of Szechuan cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Szechuan-style dining experience.

It is a huge portion but it is completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. Usually onions add something but that did not help. I don't know how you can mess up noodles but no one in my family would eat them and there is one person in my family that will manage to eat almost anything and they refused. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.
