Great venue for live music. Well organized with many table options. Sound system is good. Although we didn't eat tonight, the menu has plenty of options that look really good!! We're looking forward to trying their expanded menu! Table service during the show is a little bit of miss, but our server is friendly.

Food was amazing. Everything was delicious. We are going back for more! Thank you. I came to Yelp to look for reviews of this place before coming and seemed weary of certain foods. Boy were they wrong! The beignets were not dry they were perfectly delicious. The Vegas Chicken Sandwich was so huge and flavorful. The fried ocra, fried green tomatoes were delicious. My kiddos loved the chicken strips and the grilled cheese they want me to order it everyday now. And they are on DoorDash! Our new favorite place to eat.

The way they incorporate the goats into the restaurant is very fun. We have a great time outside of the restaurant. Inside it was a nightmare we had to first wait an hour to be seated. Wait an hour for our food. On top of that the food was awful. Our waitress wouldn't give us the time of day. The only good is that the manager came and didn't make us pay $40 for simple dishes that didn't taste great. Because of that manager I will give this place another try sometime soon.

My first visit to Screaming goat Yard was with friends for brunch. They do not take reservations but we were lucky and arrived early enough that we had plenty of seating options. We grabbed a table inside and started with mimosa batches. Once we ordered food. It arrived at the table in a timely manner, and I was pleasantly surprised for the food to be as amazing as it was the fried green tomatoes were to die for, it was my first time trying cheese curds they tasted great to me, and all of the other bites that we shared were plentiful and flavorful. The inside area is super cool with a rustic country vibe there's tons of seating outside and a stage for music although there was none at the time we were there and the best part is once your belly is full, you get to go enjoy the goats and even feed them. Although it's a bit of a drive, it's a fun experience with great food and drinks.

Saturday morning brunch with the family! The parking lot was packed but, that made no difference as we were seated immediately... our choice inside or outside. It was still nice out around noon so we opted for outside, which was pleasant enough. They have lots of shade from trees and umbrellas, though some tables are still out in the sun. Our server was great very patient and also very helpful, we all ordered refresher beverages which were very good but expensive! We ordered a mix of brunch and lunch and everything was very good. I had the French toast and it was one of the best I've had in the area. Although it wasn't the largest plate full of food, I was very happy with it and satisfied once I finished my meal. They have lots of different drinks and a variety of dishes on the menu. The easy listening jazz band they had was perfect! The flies weren't to terrible but just enough to be annoying, time for some well placed oscillating fans or table fans.

The atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit...live music playing, a relaxed outdoor vibe, and even the chance to feed goats, which my family absolutely loved. The Billy Melt Grilled Cheese was a perfect melt with just the right spice, and the fries are some of my new favorites (crispy and cooked just right). We also tried the Chicken Iceberg Wedge (definitely for bleu cheese fans), which was really good and well-balanced.

Awesome spot. I typically go every other week when I'm in the area. Really good food. Awesome staff. It's just an awesome place to be to wind down and relax. I probably would be there everyday if I lived close by. Absolutely worth the drive. Great for families or even a date or hanging with friends. Go check them out.

The food was absolutely great and tastes good . The prices are a bit high, for the appetizers. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant was also very clean and well maintained, which made for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

We went on trivia night on St. Patrick's Day and had a great time! I had the crawfish platter and it was so delicious! The fried shrimp was flavorful as well. The drinks were refreshing and went down smooth! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was a lot of fun!

Screaming Goat is a rustic casual place near 1863 and Spring Branch. There's live music most nights. With both indoor & outdoor seating. I ordered a Blue Cheese Burger which tastes great. It's even better with a pint to wash it all down. The staff are friendly and pets are welcomed. As Always - Eat In Good Health!

We were here just after they opened about 5 years ago. It was a limited small menu, some bar food, and a few drink options. They have come a long way in 5 years! Huge menu, extensive beer and drink choices, much more seating both inside and out, and goats (!) Our server Emma had only been here a few days. We had questions and she got answers quickly. Since this wasn't her first stint as a server, I do hope it's her last! Meaning ... I would like to have her serve us every time we return, which will be regularly! We both ordered the daily special ($12) and received an excellent Cajun chicken breast, garlic toast, mashed potatoes and a small salad. It was great. The interior is welcoming and not loud. The outside will be really good in our normal warmer weather.

Well my better half had a new years surprise and it was to take us here for our last dinner of 2025. And it was so much fun. The live music was great. The interior was so much fun, my kids could not understand how I knew everything about the country music artists in the walls. Our server took fantastic care of us. Our food was delicious. And it was even good for left overs. I had never had a chance to have crawfish etoufee before and wow. Such a fun vibe, good for a family dinner, just going out with friends or a date. And don't forget to say hi to the goats.

When we were checking out different suppliers for catering drinks at her wedding, we found out several things. Those included limited selection of companies in the area, prices ranging from low to exorbitant, and much difference in how those different companies interacted with us and our questions. Bourbon and Branch was the hands down winner. They were not the cheapest, but they were very willing to work with us. On the day of the wedding, they came early for set up. They interacted with all of the wedding party and gave everyone a "warm fuzzy feeling" which put the moms at ease. The actual bartender was a hit. She was funny, efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. Will I return? I don't have any more kids to marry off but based on my experience with them, I will definitely try their bar. If you have a wedding planned and are in need of bartender services, I recommend you give this business an opportunity for your most important date.

We went on a Monday night, so it's hard to say what the normal energy is like on a busier evening, but the overall atmosphere was still very pleasant. Service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. The only thing I would have loved was a little more creativity or guidance with the cocktails. The space gives the impression that you're about to get a true mixologist-style experience, but the recommendations we received were pretty standard, like Old Fashioneds and martinis. We were hoping for something a little more unique or original, maybe a twist on a Sidecar or an elevated take on a classic Old Fashioned. That said, it's still a beautiful spot with great ambience, pleasant service, and a very nice overall feel. I would definitely go back, especially on a busier night to see the full vibe.

Our mixologist, Logan (absolutely wonderful human being) not only made us the most delicious pecan praline whiskey cocktail but he also gave use some incredible history on the space & of course the ghosts! The limestone walls are original. Much of the decor adorning the walls was found in the building. Some of the wall hangings include an original bond and doctor prescriptions for whiskey. The furnishings and accessories complement the rooms to enhance the feeling of old-west prohibition. The velvet pieces exemplify burlesque. Total "hitch your horse to a post, mosey on down for a secret drink and a good time" vibes. Logan spun a tale of ghosts appearing in selfies taken by previous guests. The story was sensational and I was all about it. A wonky thing happened with the POS system while we were there that required a reboot. I joked that the ghosts thought I was taking too many pictures. Dark, moody, sexy, and relaxing...everything you want in a speakeasy---& good drinks too, of course. Absolute works of liquid art!

That's why this visit was so disappointing. We booked a private room for our group and paid a $50 room fee, fully expecting attentive service given the prices and the automatic 20% gratuity for a large party. Unfortunately the service fell far short of that expectation. From the beginning our server was noticeably unfriendly, and communication throughout the night was poor. Drinks took a long time to arrive and when food finally started coming out, it was extremely staggered. Two guests waited so long for their flatbreads that everyone else had already finished eating. Fries that were ordered early came out very late and cold after we had already tried to cancel them. Another uncomfortable moment came when the bill was being prepared. Instead of discreetly reviewing the check or confirming items professionally, the server went around the table asking individuals, "Were you the one with three drinks?" and "Did you have two drinks?" This felt invasive and unprofessional. In a proper serving environment especially with a large group billing should be handled discreetly, not by calling people out in front of the table. When we asked if the delayed items could be comped (at the very least the fries), the response felt dismissive and oddly transactional including repeatedly questioning whether the guest would take the fries home. At that point the issue wasn't the fries, it was the lack of accountability and basic customer service. When the owner/manager came out, instead of apologizing or acknowledging the experience we were met with excuses about staffing and being short-handed. While delays can happen, the lack of communication and the defensive tone made us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The atmosphere is lovely and the prices are high, but service and management matter just as much especially when hosting large groups. A simple apology, better communication, and more professional service would have gone a long way.
