    40. Chicken with Mixed Vegetables 84a. Quart of General Tso's Tofu 6. Boneless Spare Ribs

Great place for Chinese takeout. Food arrived quicker than the estimate. General Tso's tofu was nicely cooked and the boneless spare ribs are some of the best in the area. All the food was a hit!

Fresh buttery perfection served up here! ;) PJ Lobster House…read morewas the perfect meal option while in town. Popped into this lovey, wood polished establishment for lunch and ordered up crispy juicy coconut shrimp app along with a bowl of lobster bisque soup to start. The soup was creamy and delicious with big lobster chunks, not having to hunt for it or just tasting seafood broth here ;) Both came out quick and were on point. Personally followed that up with a hot a buttery lobster roll. It was fresh and juicy even before adding a bit more butter. They serve it up on a proper roll that was slightly toasted but soft with each bite. My Mr had two of the juiciest lobster tails with cole slaw and a garden salad. Sadly couldn't stay to try out a dessert since we had the baby wanting their liquid lunch too, but know the wait staff was super sweet and quick getting all that was needed and asked for super timely. *Noted: Street and municipal parking lot available. Good stable Koala changing table in the ladies room.

I was so disappointed given the reviews and the promising menu. The lobster dishes were underwhelming, especially the lobster Mac and cheese. The flavor was just a regular baked Mac but with pieces of lobster claw in it. We came during a cooler time of year, Feb. 2025 so that explains why the restaurant was quite empty. Service was good and our waitress was very friendly. However, for the pricing, there were not enough unique items to try. I noticed on the menu there was sushi options. But we didn't order. The lobster bisque was a tad salty. And the fried seafood platter my friend and I shared was good at first bite. However, everything started to taste very one note. I would pass on this place unless it's the right season.

I love outdoor seating and the weather was perfect for it. It was time for lunch and Iam not a big fan of sandwiches my husband ordered few appetizers and main course for the two of us. As many other reviews have mentioned, service was horrible but thankfully it was a beautiful day and we were in no rush. -Calamari: 4/5, not overly fried with that heavy feeling after eating deep fried food. Flavor was good and the Thai sauce paired well with the peppers. A little light on portion but overall good. -Lobster Roll: 4.5/5, went with the cold version and it was definitely one of the best I've had on the island. Much better than the place up the street with the word in its name! While it was stuffed the flavor was lacking a bit but still very good. I'd come back just for this. -Coconut Shrimp: 2/5, no bueno. Way over cooked, and definitely the worst value overall among the things we ordered. 5 small fried shrimp for $22. Caesar salad was very good too. Overall we were happy with our experience. We're fans of Drift 82 so this was right up our alley. Service was definitely lacking but still a solid experience and we'll definitely be back.

*January 2026 Restaurant Week*…read more My wife's bestie made plans for the (4) of us to meet for dinner. We all live close so Fifth Season Restaurant was chosen. I haven't been here in a very long time so I'm excited to see how the restaurant has stayed in business over the years. We are shown to our table upstairs. The bar area on a Friday night looks fun and active. There's great views of Port Jefferson harbor so the restaurant ambiance is nice. We're seated and are given restaurant week menus as well as the wine/cocktail list. Listen, It's Friday nite and I don't want a wine cooler! Give to me a standard Martini stirred (Shaken is just dumb) with stuffed blue cheese olives. The ladies order appletini's and we're ready to order off the restaurant week menu. The menu has a nice selection of different offerings, I'm into all things local so I'm going to start with the beet salad and Red Snapper. The beet salad was loaded with beets! I love beets, they did a good job with this started dish. I must point out, the dish must have been prepped earlier in the day. The green salad was slighty wilted when served to me. The Red Snapper, what is that sauce on top? And the fish was sitting on a bunch of zoodles?? The fish wasn't seasoned, it wasn't very flavorful. I'm eating around the zoodles, meh. The cheesecake I ordered, it was also just a standard dessert. I didn't finish the fish or my dessert. Review is over, Fifth Season Restaurant? See you in another 5 years.

The salads we felt were small for the price but were tasty. The main course was delicious and a nice portion. However the small portions continued when we moved over to dessert, which was very overpriced for what you got. The service was also kind of slow. I think they need more wait staff.
