Both my daughter and I have been there for haircuts and blowouts, which is why I felt comfortable coming back. Today, I scheduled a consultation for 9:00 AM. Everything was handled during the consultation, but the stylist I initially spoke with didn't have availability, so I was booked with the only stylist who was available, Eleanor, which I was completely fine with. Unfortunately, when I arrived, Eleanor didn't seem to know what I was looking to have done. She repeatedly spoke to the stylists next to her asking them what she should do. At one point, she moved me across the room and continued going back and forth to the other stylist for advice. She then told me she couldn't achieve what I wanted. I completely understood and told her that was fine, but explained that I needed my hair done for tomorrow and asked what options we had. Her response repeatedly was, "I don't know." On top of that, Eleanor kept telling me that she didn't have time to do my hair today and that I should come back another day. If I had been told that from the beginning, I would have simply gone somewhere else when I left the salon the first time. I came back because I was under the impression that I had an appointment and that we were going to figure out a solution for my hair. Being told repeatedly after I was already there that she didn't have time was extremely frustrating, especially since I needed my hair done for tomorrow. I then spoke with the manager, and unfortunately that interaction was just as disappointing. She was being very rude, constantly cutting me off and speaking over me rather than actually trying to understand what I was explaining. which is probably why the stylists act the way they do. She repeatedly said that she already knew the situation from the stylist and didn't seem interested in hearing my side of what happened. I have never experienced this type of customer service at a salon before, especially after being a returning customer. I understand that sometimes a stylist may not be able to achieve a specific look, and I was completely willing to work with that and find another option. What was upsetting was the lack of communication, professionalism, and willingness to help find a solution.

Upon arriving you can either park in front off Merrick Rd, or there is a parking lot and additional entrance in the back. I was scheduled with Victoria for a blowout - she was very friendly and easy to talk too, and most importantly, she listened to what I wanted! I initially wanted to try a blowout with curls, but let her know I usually opt for straight hair, so I may or may not like the curls despite my request to try something different. After curling my hair, which originally looked great, unfortunately the style itself was just not for me. She was very easy to provide feedback too and let me know her main priority was that I walked out happy. We worked together until the style was right, and I walked out loving my hair!!

Everyone there was so friendly. From the minute I walked in, they both welcomed me immediately! The receptionist was so friendly and outgoing. So I decided to come to her old job, which is this one. I paid $402 for my hair appointment and unfortunately did not receive the hairstyle I had specifically requested. I came the second time, I still didn't get what I had requested. I was very disappointed with the final result, especially considering the amount I paid. After expressing my concerns, I was told that the owner would reach out to me to address the situation. It has now been over a month, and I still have not received a call, message, or any follow-up whatsoever. I understand that things can happen and that not every service goes perfectly, but what really disappointed me was the lack of communication and customer service afterward. If a customer spends $402 on a service and is unhappy with the result, I believe their concerns should be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner. I gave the salon the opportunity to follow up before leaving this review, but after more than a month of waiting, I feel that my experience deserves to be shared. I would not recommend spending this amount of money somewhere where there is no follow-up or accountability when a customer is dissatisfied.

I purchased a keratin treatment coupon from Groupon for this spa based on its high ratings there…read more Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not checking Google reviews and trusted Groupon blindly. I have had keratin treatments multiple times, so I know how they should be done. My Groupon coupon was for $101, but the spa asked me to pay an additional $75, which I did. Surprisingly, they completed the treatment in just 30 minutes when a proper keratin treatment usually takes at least 2-3 hours. Still, I trusted their process. The real disappointment came after the first wash, 48 hours later my keratin completely washed out, and my hair returned to its original state. When I went back to the spa to address the issue, they refused to even check my hair and told me to contact Groupon instead. When I insisted that they were responsible for the poor treatment and requested a refund, they started bullying me, behaved in a racist manner, and told me to leave their property. This place is not only scamming people with fake treatments but also racist. Beware! I am not gonna trust any Groupon reviews blindly from now on
