We ordered BBQ pork Bao, soup dumplings, an order of Korean fried chicken, and another dish I can't remember the name of but it was noodles. Great food, large portions. The Bao was light fluffy and the BBQ pork was delish; the soup dumplings hot and savory. I really like the Korean fried wings and could make a meal out of them and a bowl of rice! So glad to have a new restaurant around the corner that offers a good menu, great service and a pleasant environment.

I placed a mobile order for takeout and picked up the shrimp pan-fried dumplings, pork pan-fried dumplings, egg rolls, and a side of white rice. The pan-fried dumplings were definitely the highlight. Both the shrimp and pork were flavorful, nicely filled, and had that delicious golden, crisped bottom that makes pan-fried dumplings so good. The dipping sauce that came with them was also really tasty and paired perfectly with the dumplings. One thing I really enjoyed about this location is how spacious it is, and they have two people making the dumplings behind a glass window where you can actually watch them being prepared. It's such a fun little detail and gives you a glimpse into the process rather than everything happening behind the scenes. The mobile pickup was convenient and everything was ready when I arrived. For a first visit, Uncle Bao definitely made a great impression. Good food, a cool setup, and friendly service--I'll definitely be back to try more!

Uncle Bao - Great ambience, clean, bright, open. Even when it was packed it didn't feel crowded.

Both delicious. My favorite was the pork belly for sure: generous portion of tender and crispy pork belly with delicious toppings on a soft bao bun. The acidity of the pickled apple complimented the sweet and salty pork really well. Each bao is assembled with care, you can not only see it, you can also taste it. I need to try the soft shell crab bao next time!

Order at the cashier, grab a number, and food will be served to you. Needless to say, I ordered the 4. Shanghai pork mini soup dumplings which were $10.25 for 6 dumplings. I would've loved less dough, more soup, overall bigger portion size (larger dumplings or more of them). Otherwise, the soup itself was tasty. We also ordered the 14. Chongqing Fried Spicy Chicken $13.95, which was a platter of boneless chicken and peppers. I was very impressed with the crisp exterior but soft/juicy interior of the chicken. I'm not usually a spice person, but I was left feeling tingly but not in pain and not numb. Overall I found Heng's Kitchen to be disproportionately pricey given the taste and portion sizes. I'm pretty critical and discerning about my XLB, and this place did not totally satisfy my craving, although I was pleasantly surprised about the chicken. Note: rice is not included with any dish and is $1 extra. Free room-temperature self-serve water available.

Passed it twice but finally found it tucked between a McDonalds and a vacant adjacent business. Once we found it there were plenty of open spaces in the lot just south of the restaurant. Atmosphere 4/5 Curb appeal left a low initial impression as the business pads in the complex are a bit dated. Inside, the dining room was clean and not busy at all. Most of the business while here was call in pick up orders. Service 5/5 Given we were the only customers in the dining room we essentially enjoyed private service which was friendly, prompt. Food 5/5 Dim Sum is run by a family and serves Cantonese style food which is different than other regional Chinese dishes. Variety is a beautiful thing. Our order was a sampling of dishes to get an idea of what the food was like. Ordered steamed pork dumplings. Beef brisket and tendon soup. BBQ pork fried rice. Singapore Chow fun. Everything was delicious, my favorite was the brisket soup. To die for flavor backflipping good. My second favorite was their pork dumplings then the fried rice. All entrees came with very generous portions and could easily be shared. I brought home plenty for leftover lunch Saturday. I was so very much looking forward to the dim sum here from other reviews, but didn't enjoy most of the items. The skin on the har gow and the shu mai were inedible. I ordered from the cart, somewhat point and taste. I had the salt fried shrimp, the shrimp dumplings sticky rice in leaf packets and the calamari. It was a lot and more than ample for two. The shrimp were huge and fried shell on head intact, which was fine with me, but for those who don't want to eyeball their meal, take heed. But they were crisp fresh and delicious, and salty. The calamari were fairly tender and freshly fried and salty as well. The star of the show, for me was the little shrimp dumpling. Encased in tender opaque skins, and packed with shrimp. I'd order those again. The sticky rice packets were filled with savory and seasoned ground meat, I think pork. Which i usually avoid, but I was committed. It was excellent ! I will return for another crack at the dim sum cart and this time I want to try the sweet side of the menu. Though I suppose I could always head to hmarts Paris baguettes for the custard pies, my favorite. No matter I will be back. Our service was spot on btw and the dining room began to fill after 1200. So get there early... it was old school decor which actually added to the charm of it all.

For a party of 7, the total with tip came out to $213.16 which is pretty good considering how much we ordered. We ordered several plates of dumplings, soup, fried rice, and duck. The duck was definitely my favorite. It was juicy, tender, and had a subtle sweet kick to it. I didn't really find it a place I'd want to go back to, but everything was still good.
