And get a root canal and my dentist put a temporary cap over that tooth and told me to come back in after my vacation and have it taken care of. You know, 20 years later and the cap is still on that temporary cap mind you. Like four years ago, I ended up having stage 4 1/2 cervical cancer, which comes with a lot of radiation and chemo and none of it is friendly with your teeth nor is the medication's that dry your mouth out severely. Fast forward 20 years and I had the worst toothache. It was the whole right side of my mouth. My dentist had since Retired but there was still a dentist at that phone number. I feel kind of strange calling him a dentist because he's more of a angel. He was so patient understanding and just generally cares about people. If there was one problem with this, it's only because he made me feel so ridiculous for being afraid of the dentist when he was so gentle, and so not what my brain had wrapped around as a dentist. And it doesn't hurt he is so handsome. But truly, if you have a fear of dentist or even if you don't, this is an awesome office with people that care. I had work done yesterday and last night I received a text checking in to make sure I was OK. This morning, Dr. Ahmedo called himself to make sure I was doing OK and taking my antibiotics. I truly am so thankful that they were there and they took care of me please if you need to awesome dentist to cares about you cares about your pain and suffering this is the guy to go to. I cannot say enough good about this dentist. He's the best I recommend him 100%. And the only reason why he only got five stars is because they won't let you give more. He's a true gentleman thank you.

I arrived early to my appointment so I had to wait a bit to be seen. The admin was really nice when I checked in. Make sure you have your ID and insurance card on hand. They have a small waiting area with comfy chairs. You can smell the products the staff is using, it's very strong and they also have wall plug in scents. It can be overpowering if you sat near it. I thought it was a small place until they took me in for Xray and to be seen by the doctor. They have modern devices. The doctor is really nice and the staff too. They were light handed when looking into my mouth which I like. I have anxiety whenever I go to a dentist or doctor etc. They made me felt welcome. They do have a bathroom outside of the office, you'll just have to ask for the key. It's a pretty old building.

There is a dental hygienist in the office Mika who consistently gives me the most thorough routine dental cleanings I've ever experienced in my life. I didn't even know care like that could exist. She's nice and gentle and explains everything as she's doing it. Other staff members in the office have been friendly. There once was a discrepancy with the bill but they resolved it. Parking is easy and plentiful in the free lot.

That is extremely unprofessional of her to be on her phone when she is talking to a client. My last cleaning a few weeks ago on a Thursday, I inquired about a night guard at the front desk. She immediately said no, I do not have any coverage for that. She didn't even bother looking into my plan or calling Delta Dental. She just assumed I didn't. I ended up calling them myself later that day and they said I did in fact have that coverage. The conversation took 10 minutes. I called the office back that day and said I just spoke to the insurance and I did have the benefit. I was told I would get a call back. No call on Friday so I called them back on Monday and they made no progress. They then told me it would be a few days till they get back to me. What? I just verified it within 10 minutes on the phone. These people are an absolute joke. I have since taken my business elsewhere.

I had an extremely troubling experience with Dr. Omidi at Cardinal Dental…read more I was completely upfront with her about my history with dental anesthesia before beginning treatment. I have never been able to get completely numb, but for roughly 30 years I had been able to get through dental procedures with nitrous. Dr. Omidi reassured me that she could manage my situation, including telling me repeatedly, "I can get anyone numb." I trusted her, I followed all of her recommendations, and I expected the treatment to be at least as manageable as they had been in the past. Instead, both procedures were extraordinarily, excruciatingly painful--far beyond anything I had experienced in decades of dental work and a 10 out of 10 on the pain scale. And I don't use that number lightly; I'm a mother who has endured labor and birth. The second procedure was particularly difficult because I went in expecting it to be relatively straightforward, as crown deliveries have typically always been an easy procedure for me, and instead was shocked to experience another severely painful procedure. But, it was the inappropriate and unprofessional way Dr. Omidi treated me afterward that was the real issue. After the first procedure she patronizingly told me: "That hurt me more than it hurt you." And worse, after the second procedure while I was extremely distressed, I was met with an extremely antagonistic interaction. From the moment her hands came out of my mouth and the pain finally began to subside, Dr. Omidi was agitated and spoke to me harshly instead of allowing me a moment to recover from an unexpectedly excruciating procedure. I felt attacked and profoundly uncomfortable, and she ultimately stormed out of the room. After this experience, I will not be returning to Dr. Omidi.

I had lost several front teeth and needed implants, and Dr. Wachtel handled the whole process with such warmth and compassion that it made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She clearly cared about getting the outcome right -- not just functionally, but in a way that restored my confidence. Dr. Wachtel has since moved on, and the staff from my time there has likely turned over completely -- but what impressed me recently is that the current team was just as wonderful. When I reached out years later needing help obtaining my old records for an ongoing medical case, they were responsive, helpful, and went out of their way to assist me without hesitation. That kind of continuity of care and genuine helpfulness -- even for a patient from years ago with a completely different team -- says a lot about the culture this practice has maintained.
