Do not bother going to them, unless you want to be strong, armed into something procedural that you do not agree to. This is not the dentist to go to if you'd like a normal cleaning. When I try to explain to him, the dentist that I had within the last year had a terrible allergic reaction to something in Crest 3-D toothpaste and that any chemical since then stings and it makes my mouth swell. He interrupted me and didn't listen and made zero eye contact, talking to me from behind me without being able to even see his face and introduce himself. I had no idea what this dentist even look like who was interrupting me when I was trying to give my dental history. I felt like this dental History was an important fact before prescribing anything to be put in my mouth. But no, this dentist who is extremely rude didn't introduce himself face-to-face did not make eye contact for a first time patient, just went into his procedural recitation of an invasive procedure involving chemicals, and analgesic, which I have also had allergic reactions too. In addition to him, the front desk girl was rude. When no, I did not have the paperwork filled out prior to my visit that's why I was there 15 minutes ahead of time. Sorry for the inconvenience of not having it filled out. But I had another emergency three days ago that this was not on my priority list. When I explained that emergency to her, she gruffly handed me an iPad to complete it without an empathetic. I'm so sorry for what you incurred three days ago that prevented you from filling out her paperwork. Empathy, care, listening, skills, body, language, eye contact, are not characteristics at this dental office. If you're looking for those type of characteristics look elsewhere.

I got a crown put in back in November 2024 and they made the experience as smooth as possible. I have some trauma from a previous dental experience that resulted in immense pain on the same tooth that they were working on. As a result, during my visit, my anxiety and fear were at an all time high. Both Rachel and Dr. Kondoff were really kind and did everything -and then some- they could to help me manage my anxiety and I'm forever grateful. This week, months later, I actually had some pain again for that same tooth which thankfully only ended up being a simple bite issue. Again, my anxiety was ridiculous but Rachel and this time a new doctor (I didn't catch her name!) made me feel comfortable and taken care of. We got back and immediately started our consultation -what to expect and why. We were offered (again) water. And for the patient, a blanket. She hung up her belongings (the patient). First, let me start off by saying I don't typically like going to the dentist...Well no one really does ;) I moved to Austin in 2010 and never went to the dentist for a few years ( I know that is bad but I haven't had much luck finding good physicians here in Austin) So, one of my teeth had broken and I now NEEDED to find a dentist! I spoke to my co-worker about who her dentist was and she recommended StarLight Dental! I'm not going to lie, I was super nervous when I went in to get my broken tooth repaired. As soon as I met Dr. Cody and Dr. Kip my anxiety started to go down... they both are so incredibly welcoming and very nice. They were extremely understanding that I was nerved up and offered me sunglasses for that crazy bright light that you have to look in to when they lean you back, as well as, they offered me a blanket! I loved it! Very understanding when they started my Root Canal that I was nerved up and they explained everything they were doing so I knew what to expect. So incredibly professional, kind, understanding, patient, quick, empathetic, welcoming, pleasurable, great bed-side manner AND all three doctors remember things I have told them from previous visits and ask me about it on the next visit! TOO COOL! I don't feel like I can't ask them questions; they are so wonderful! I love all three Dentists: Dr. Bob, Dr. Kip and Dr. Cody--All are truly AMAZING at what they do! The Doctors/ Dentists aside, the Dental Hygienist, Nicole, is AWESOME as well! Dr. Bob decorated the entire office by himself, he has quite the knack for it and it shows! It looks like they hired a professional interior designer! Also want to shout out Dr. Magee because I truly had an amazing experience with my dental work that was painless and quick. My original review was based off financial miscommunication and not services. The fact you guys went over and beyond to make sure I was okay speaks volumes!! Today was our second visit here and I really wanted to like this office but I left very disappointed today and now will have to search for another new dentist. It is already hard enough to find good medical/dental providers that are honest and practice their craft safely. I agree the checkin process is quick and easy, you can fill out new patient forms online. My X-rays and services needed were explained during my first visit. I signed two treatment plans for me and my daughter and scheduled follow up appointments to start getting our dental work completed. However today when I arrived at the office and paid about $350 it was not for what I was originally quoted. $204 was supposed to be for a cleaning and two upper fillings on my left and right. I was told I was only scheduled for one so I was very much confused about what I had just paid for. I had to show the treatment plan I signed and was told that is not what is in my chart. Okay thank you for reviewing the information. After having mine and my daughter's work done I am then told our prices have changed because they were using an outdated fee schedule....which I was asked to sign the new ones. These were not small price adjustments like $20/$30 the quotes were off by $70-$150. That doesn't make any sense that you cannot even provide me the correct quote so how do I even trust that this "new" fee schedule is correct. I have never had this happen. If anything I'm usually paying over and ending up with a credit. It would have been better to show me the different fee schedules and how my treatment plans were calculated wrong versus showing me to different plans with very different amounts. If you go here I would definitely have them double check your quotes and billing.

I called them on June 18th to inform them of their error and they said they would rectify it and send in the correct prescription. They did not. I called again on July 2nd to ask them to please send in the correct prescription to my pharmacy, they still have not, nor have they followed up with me like they said they were going to. It's now over 2 weeks trying to get them to fix an error they made and I am growing increasingly frustrated, as we are going into a holiday weekend and I still don't have the prescription I NEED.
