    Hair all over bathroom floor

Room was quite dirty! I was tired from traveling and didn't notice right away. But this is just a couple spots - there was more dirt. I paid almost $300 a night for this. I've sent a couple emails hoping the issues will be addressed for the next guest but have heard no response. I absolutely do not recommend!

Very nice and classy hotel centrally located and walkable to Pike Street and main attractions of downtown. Hotel is a bit of a throwback to a bygone era with dark lobby and classy interior finishes. Room was very clean, classy and with definately a bit of a retro look and feel to it. Small gripe is the bathroom which was fine, could have been a tad larger. Integrated into the hotel is a nice bar and restaurant adding a lot of convenience to your stay. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would book here again in the future the next time my travels take me to Seattle. If you are looking for a nice hotel that is centrally located to the downtown and walkable to the Pike street district than look no fiurther as this place will fit the bill!

This hotel was in down town and within walking distance from the farmers market, the monorail, the fiery boats and many restaurants. The staff was so helpful, the service at the restaurant was great. We stayed in the suite as a family of five, 3 kids and 2 adults. It is an older hotel but that's what we liked about it. It felt safe and I loved our stay.

Had a brief business trip downtown. The hotel is centrally located in downtown. The hotel is a quick walk to the light rail from the airport (Westlake Station near hotel). Room is vintage and the whole building has a historic feel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of outlets (mostly along the floor boards). WiFi worked great. The bar in the lobby (Oscar's) was great. Cool atmosphere and affordable snacks and cocktails.

    Nice products.

What a great hotel in a great location! We walked to monorail, shopping, restaurants and Pike Place Market. All are within 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your pace. We arrived early and they were kind enough to hold our luggage while we walked about and checked out Pike Place Market for a few hours. When we returned, we retrieved our luggage and check in was a breeze. The room was comfy and well appointed. Coffee maker, mini fridge, bar glassware. The sofa could have used cleaning or updating but we never used it. The bathroom also offered nice products. Enjoyed breakfast downstairs at "Oliver's" one morning. It was a much larger portion than expected and delicious. No fancy coffee but sometimes it's humbling...and guess what...it was hot and tasty!

Mayflower Park Hotel is in a fantastic location in Downtown Seattle, especially for what we wanted to do during our time there! We only had a one night stay here last week in order to catch a Mariners game and visit the famous Pike Park Market (The fish market). (+) Fantastic location! You are in a very short walking distance to food options, a CVS, and a light rail station! The light rail made it VERY easy and convenient to go to and from the Mariners game for only $3 each! What a bargain! Plus, we took the light rail straight from SeaTac Airport to the stop that was a 3-minute walk to our hotel for just $3 each! Sweet! Plus, from our hotel to the Ball Park and back was only $2.25 each (each way)! On top of all of that, you are literally a 7-minute walk to Pike Place Market! (+) The hotel is an older, historic hotel! It had a lot of old school charm to it and I'm so glad I didn't necessarily go with one of its newer and glossier counterparts. (+) Service was very good! From the doorman to the front desk, everyone was so friendly and helpful! (+) I am very happy with the room we had there. We had a room with 2 Queen beds, but also 2 full sized bathrooms! This was tremendously convenient! The room was clean, well-stocked (plenty of full-sized towels!) , and on a high floor. It also came with a fantastic view of Downtown Seattle! Since our visit was brief, I was not able to enjoy Olivers, but we loved our time in Seattle so much, I can see us visiting Olivers next time! I would absolutely recommend the Mayflower Park Hotel for its fantastic location and great service in the heart of Seattle! 4 solid stars!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and the care of the staff. Our room was clean well deck and had a good view. They took good care of our car and charged us $56 a day. It took them 15 minutes to go get our car but they warned us when we dropped it off This place is well located close to the train They gave complimentary umbrellas on rainy days, I liked that. We normally stay the Westin but found the Mayflower to be cheaper but just as nice.

made a return visit to Seattle to visit friends and was very pleased with my stay at the Mayflower. I chose a corner suite, which was perfect for a four night stay. The suite was spacious, like a small apartment (without the kitchen). Bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, even on the 12th floor. I love the ambiance of this historic hotel. The service was, for the most part, excellent. Housekeeping, doormen, restaurant staff were all warm and welcoming. The only exception was a couple of staff at, of all places, reception. Upon check in Ashley seemed almost sullen. She mumbled, did not smile and there was no sense of being welcomed to the hotel. On check out there was a similar experience with the man at the desk. I did not get his name as, oddly, staff do not wear name tags. I will say that Steven, the manager was very nice and helpful. The hotel takes security seriously as a key card is needed to access the elevator and all floors. Main access has 24 hour staff. The fitness center has two bikes, a treadmill, elliptical, bench, some free weights and a yoga mat. Small, but serviceable. As others have mentioned the location is very walkable to Pike Market and the waterfront. There are only a few breakfast restaurants in the area and most are very busy.

I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. I enjoy walking around to get familiar with the area I'm in and there was so much to see!!! I will be back to The Sound for my next Seattle adventure!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
