This Mayorga Cafe is located in Concourse A at Baltimore Airport. As I'm posting this it has 2.5 stars, which is about what it deserves. The woman with bright red hair who was taking orders and operating the point of sale machine had a horrible attitude towards customers when they were asking what was available and trying to place orders, and at least one person walked away without buying anything because of her. I ordered a medium coffee Americano which was $4.99 - fair, especially at an airport coffee spot, but when she showed me where to tap my card, I was given a screen to leave a gratuity. I wasn't giving a tip as I received no real "service" and I'm not giving 25% for someone at a walk up counter to pour a cup of coffee (I just got an Americano - a simple order). When she saw I left no tip, she glared at me and said "OK!....OK!!" as if she was miffed and being judgemental. I walked to the other side of this large kiosk to where the coffee drinks are handed out once ready. There were several people waiting for their orders, and none of the cups were labeled or had names on them - the employee there was just yelling the type of drink she was setting out, and I guess hoping if there were multiple customers with the same order they'd figure it out on their own. read more

Specialty Cuban coffee roaster located in Terminal A at BWI. I decided to give it a try since it's a local coffee place to Maryland. Ordered the Cafe Dulce and really enjoyed it -- smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet, with the coffee flavor still shining through. I should've gone for the large! Not the stop if you want a latte. They weren't able to do oat milk when I went (they had oat milk on hand but couldn't serve it, not clear on why, equipment issue I think?). I didn't realize flavor in the latte cost extra until I saw the receipt. I basically got a big glass of hot milk with a hint of mocha flavor, I tried to sip on it but ended up tossing it. It also came out very quickly, almost weirdly fast bc I'm not sure how they would have brewed fresh espresso in the time they served it. read more

Good service, accessible cafe stand right as you enter in Concourse A. I only got a water from here, but service was good and they had a lot of drinks, sandwiches, and baked goods available for pick up. Brookies looked good. Good option if you want something different than Dunkin or Starbucks. read more

The barista overcharged like 25 percent for my drink. When I noted that $1.25 x 3 should be $3.75, the barista said the menu was "old" and asked if I wanted a refund. I didn't trust her to process the refund. It seemed like she charged for a large drink and it was a people issue, not a system issue The espresso shots weren't good, or strong. Yes, it's morning! Everyone needs coffee. But geez I ordered bagel with cream cheese and coffee The lady who took my order was already rude but it was cool she said pick up your bagel on the side. Of course I'm okay with it no worries. Then after a minute she yelled plain bagel! Plain bagel! Ummhhhh so I ask her is that bagel with spread. She kept saying plain bagel to me and was super rude, so I was not taking others' order then she said mam' it's yours. So I repeated and politely said is that bagel with cream cheese she said yes the cream cheese on the side. So I said well you didn't mention it. What a morning!!! The iced caramel latte I ordered I think was actually brewed coffee with frothed milk. I couldn't taste the caramel and it was not sweetened. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't a latte so I wouldn't normally pay $8 for it. Just a head's up if you're feeling a latte! read more

They had almost nothing available on the menu except for bagels (no sandwiches, muffins, pastries, etc). Asked for three different iced lattes based on the posted menu - was told they didn't have any of those flavors anymore. I finally said to just give me whatever. He offered Toffee; I said yes. They didn't have much of a line, and now I know why. I wanted something small to eat and some coffee before my flight. I asked for a bagel, but they were out. Decided on a blueberry muffin. I asked for it to be warmed. I was told they're not allowed to do that. I said no problem. They still did it anyway. I got a coffee, which was pretty basic. The muffin didn't taste fresh. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. Pretty disappointing - won't return! read more

I just walked up to the Kiosk to get a cup of coffee at the BWI airport at 5:30am today. I was greeted by the person behind the counter who barked at me saying "I'm not open"! All of the lights were on, the menu screens were on, and it appeared that the kiosk was open. Quick And efficient, I can't ask for much in an airport. Disappointed that most items are pre-packaged, but a healthy assortment of muffins and bagels are available. Sugar free flavors available. Milk options available. I drank a chai tea latte with coconut milk. read more

Decent place for a cup of coffee in the BWI airport. We flew out of BWI really early a few weeks ago, and the lines at some other spots with coffee were really long. There was no line at all Mayorga! Decent coffee, good service, and way faster than waiting in a long line at other spots busy in the morning at the airport! read more

I was on the hunt for bottled water and walked right up on the kiosk in the concourse amongst the various food spots. Mayorga is the only location in the airport that has Voss water, lol! As if that was not enough, they have it still and sparkling!!! While the Voss was all I bought, the customer service was swell. There was a little bit of a line but it moved quickly. read more

I went here on August 11th after a long flight with my infant. It was absolutely terrible. When I arrived I had to wait about 8 minutes for the employee to return, which I didn't mind too much until our exchange began. She was so rude. Our conversation was as follows, Me:Hi Her: What do you want? Me: Uhmm... may I get and Iced Vani- Her: We don't have lattes, only iced coffee Me: (who was already planning to get vanilla iced coffee before being rudely interrupted) Oh.. that's fine I was going to get a vanilla iced coffee, please. Her: *Rudely states my total and goes off leaving me to pay and reach over to grab my receipt I then went to wait on my coffee at the pick-up counter, where a few people happened to be nearby so I assumed were waiting. She slams a coffee onto the counter and walks away, so I look to make sure it wasn't anyone else's and as I am approaching she rudely announces "THAT'S your coffee ". She is simultaneously having a conversation on her phone throughout this exchange. And while the words themselves weren't rude her tone and body language made me feel very unwelcome. I walked to sit down with my coffee and when I took a sip I got a mouthful of freaking coffee grounds. I then looked at the bottom of the cup to realize it was FILLED with coffee grounds. I had to pick them from my mouth and out of my teeth. I got a not so great picture and chucked it in the trash as I was now quite a bit away from the shop and didn't feel that going back to the rude young woman would get me anywhere and would just escalate the situation over $6. I reported it on a survey the shop sent me and have yet to receive feedback about 2 weeks later. I won't ever go back and honestly wish I would've pressed for a refund in the moment. It was just so disappointing after a long day of travel with an infant and I still had another flight to my final destination afterwards. read more

I'm not a Starbucks fan and this is a nice alternative in a nice location at the BWI airport. It is perfectly located in the open area, away from the crowds. The service was quick and friendly. Thankfully, there is never a line like at all the Starbucks, but I think Mayogra is much better. They have an awesome selection of muffins at a great price and the coffee is very good. read more

Tigre is coffee with one shot, Diablo has two! Love the coffee and the people, even if they do try to put kale in your empanada. Usually come here for the Cafe Cubano. Basically the coffees are excellent. The muffins ok, I avoid the bagels. The people are always happy and the system - order and pick up in the back, works. Better than an airport deserves. After a night out I needed a coffee to lift me up. It understood the assignment just had the pretty airport tax.

I just ordered coffee a Mayorga in the Baltimore airport. Upon approaching the counter it was announced that they were out of milk and if anyone wanted milk in their coffee they would have to order an alternative milk and would be up charged for the substitution. After I ordered, I shared my comment that it was my opinion that the milk substitution charge should be comped due to it being a supply shortage and seemed unfair to charge the customer extra. The employees response was " I just work here." To which I replied, I understand, just sharing my thoughts. I went to go wait for my coffee. That employee told her coworker that I was rude and when I went to pick up my coffee I was harassed by the worker who was questioning me about being rude in a very loud and intimidating manner. To which I repeated my previous statement that I felt the milk substitution charge should have been comped. I am writing this review in the hopes that someone in a leadership role with customer services skills could help to educate the staff on how to respectfully treat customers. And also possibly to provide training that would allow staff to appropriately substitute a product without an up charge as a standard of practice. As a result I will go out of my way to not give Mayorga my business again and I'll be sure to share my experience. I'm again hopeful that this post can provide Mayorga with some insight into the importance of customer service trainings. read more

The service was horrible. I went there at 9am before my 10 am flight and I had to speak first to the cashier. I asked for an iced coffee with cream and sugar and it tasted burnt and disgusting so I started my day with a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Coffe is so good, I witness a customer before me order an Americano thinking it was a regular drip coffee, the clerk was so patient and helpful explaining the difference. (AMERICANO is espresso shots with water, Not Drip coffee). The shop is everything you would expect for fast delicious Cuban coffee experience. Very warm and welcoming. read more

The espresso machine is not working so No coffee drinks. Switched to a dark roasted brewed coffee. $4.02 with tax BUT no change. "Exact amount only", she said. Ok guess I use the debit card and leave no tip. They won't warm the muffins or cakes either. The employees did not seem too happy so the employer must not be doing anything right. Avoid this place. While on a layover, needed a pick-me-up very badly and saw Mayorga in the distance. Walked closer to get a look at the menu and saw Cuban Coffee! Not too expensive, tasted 'OK' but so much sugar was added that there was almost an extra teaspoon of undissolved sugar in the bottom of my cup. I would classify this as cuban coffee for the desperate, especially if you are not in Cuba or Florida. read more

Stuck at an airport. Hopeless situation if you're a coffee snob. Lowest possible expectations. Desperate to avoid Starbucks chem coffee I search the directory and find "organic" coffee place Mayorga. The line was small so I get in it and then not happy to see one of those automatic machines, that spit out crap at whatever restaurant. I almost step out of line to avoid the robocoffee and sweaty grouch jockeying the register but then see a bean grinder on top of the coffee robot. Ok desperate times. Order a medium vanilla latte and beg for some whip cream on top. The lady turned out to have the minimum manners so not a negative experience as expected. I get my coffee and very pleasantly surprised at the balanced flavor. Not bitter, watery or chem tasting as expected. Good sweet full complex flavor saved my morning. Although I'm not a fan of robots taking jobs, who ever dialed in this machine deserves a high five. One gotcha is they don't use organic syrups if that's a deal breaker read more
