Had mayzlin, honored my original request, none of this would have happened because we would have been prepared.And mazelin would have come and nicely picked up all our belongings! The final note i'm going to make in regards to the packers/movers when they finally did arrive, Is there absolute mayhem!!!!!!! I went through every room with the gentleman who called himself Foreman. I told him I would be leaving to take care of some much needed. erands and visits, and he told me no problem. i also left at the house, an English speaking 25-year old man ( because by the way, the language barrier and their ages clearly, made not equipped to handle the job that I had. In addition to my previous review: UPDATE: MULTIPLE EXPENSIVE DAMAGED ITEMS! So many of the boxes delivered literally look like they were body slammed. My electric bike was damaged!! I'M SO UPSET!! The control that operates the whole bike was smashed off and the metal wheel cover is all bent and crushed into the wheel. The electrical control alone is $100, not including labor for the repair and anything else they find. OH AND! My treadmill was delivered damaged. The electronic interface was completely broken off, clearly by sheer force, and it now does not fit into the base. It will never be the same and I will have to replace that as well. Our belongings were picked up on July 23, and communication has been poor from that point forward. We understood that our First Available Delivery Date was not a guaranteed delivery date and that unforeseen delays can happen. That was never our issue. The problem has been the lack of transparency and inconsistent communication. We later learned that our shipment sat in Austin for an extended period before even being scheduled to head to California. Throughout the process, we've had to repeatedly call for updates because proactive communication has been virtually nonexistent. On Tuesday, we were told our truck would be loaded on Wednesday and that we should receive an ETA of 4 to 6 days. We never received that update. When we called again, we spoke with the same representative, Elena, who told us to call back next week for another update, even though our shipment should already be arriving next week. This is especially frustrating because we now have to coordinate a loading dock and freight elevator reservation with our apartment building in San Francisco, something that requires advance notice. Without even a tentative delivery date, we're left unable to plan. Delays can happen in the moving industry, and I understand that. What is much harder to accept is paying thousands of dollars for a service and then having to chase the company for basic information while receiving conflicting answers each time. As a 62-year-old woman moving alone, I trusted what the salesperson, Chris, told me. My belongings should have been transported directly from Franklin, TN, to Frisco, TX. Instead, they traveled from Franklin to Indiana, then to Georgia, and finally to Frisco. It's no surprise that multiple pieces of my furniture arrived damaged after taking such an unnecessary route. While the damaged furniture was frustrating, what has been even more disappointing is that Chris promised me a refund because of everything that went wrong. Months later, that promise has never been honored. I paid for white-glove service, and it was horrible -- they showed up without any packing materials and used my belongings to pack! Rather than addressing my repeated requests for a refund, Mayzlin has continued to avoid the issue and has responded with matters unrelated to my complaint. I have reached out multiple times and even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, yet I am still waiting for someone--especially Chris--to contact me and make this right. The entire experience has been stressful and disappointing. When you're planning a long-distance move, trust is everything. I went back to my Mayzlin contact to confirm the timeline, and he told me -- in writing -- that 14 days was the absolute worst case. When he sent the deposit paperwork, I asked about the fine print referencing a 30-business-day delivery window. He said, and I quote: "that is mandated by the DOT and by law any interstate mover has to put that into their contracts. But it will never take that long." Here I am, one month in, and Mayzlin is now citing that same 30-business-day window as the actual terms of our agreement. That's six weeks of sleeping on an air mattress - no TV, no furniture, no kitchenware. My route and truck haven't even been scheduled, let alone delivered. I could have planned around this if they'd been upfront from the start. Instead, they lied outright- the 30-day window isn't DOT-mandated, and 14 days was never their worst case, let alone realistic. They will swipe your credit card and then hold your belongings hostage until they are legally required to deliver it (which is 30 BUSINESS DAYS per the fine print). Not only did we wait over a month for our stuff... but stuff is shattered and completely missing. My 500 dollar lamp is nowhere to be found. They hire people off the street to help move things in. My experience was defined by gross professional negligence, logistical failures, and a complete lack of accountability regarding the damage and loss of my property. Logistical Failures and Breach of Contract My belongings were collected on November 19, 2025. Despite a contractually stipulated delivery window of 3-14 days, I was subjected to a month of misinformation and silence. At one point, your chatbot indicated there was no record of my job number, and later, customer service claimed my items were held in a Baltimore, MD warehouse due to weather--a claim that was easily debunked via local weather reports. Delivery did not occur until December 22, 2025, well beyond the 30-day threshold for reimbursement. Unprofessional Conduct and Extortionary Tactics The delivery driver, Vlad, exhibited aggressive and unprofessional behavior. He missed the agreed-upon delivery window of December 21, 2025, arriving instead on a workday morning and blocking resident traffic. After being asked to move to allow residents to leave for work, he lied to dispatch claiming he was "told to leave the property". Furthermore, he attempted to extort an additional $150 by inaccurately measuring the distance from his truck to my door, charging for the entire length of his semi-trailer because he failed to park correctly. Property Damage and Loss Upon unloading, the following issues were identified:   - Irreparable Damage: My water cooler was crushed and cracked; my bed frame was bent so severely it could not be reassembled, forcing me to sleep on the floor.   - Negligence: Several boxes arrived wet and moldy. One book box had been dropped, poorly retaped, and was half-empty.   - Theft/Loss: Multiple boxes of books and collectible alcohol are missing. This does not even begin to cover a single missing box of collectibles valued at $2,000, let alone the remainder of my damaged furniture and stolen goods. The best was feeling discriminated against as a woman by the mover. I had two men, but one was not even an employee of the company. Just some friend the guy grabbed. Mayzlin took 3 weeks to deliver my belongings. They sat in a warehouse for two weeks after pickup before they were even loaded onto a truck to send to my new apartment. They customer service was incredibly hard to get through to. Then, when my belongings did arrive, they were damaged and my queen bed headboard was MISSING. They lost the largest possible item. However, when I tried to file a claim for lost and damaged goods, it took them 5 months to reply that "no notations regarding this item were taken at time of delivery" despite the fact they made me sign the delivery form BEFORE they even started unloading. When I first received my estimate, I was told shipping our household belongings from Wisconsin to Utah would take about one week. Shortly before pickup, a Mayzlin employee named Frank called to collect our pre-pickup payment. During that call, he initially told me delivery could take up to 14 business days after our "first available date," which would have left my family without our belongings for more than three weeks after arriving in Utah. I explained that timeline would not work because my wife was starting a new job on July 1 and that I would rather rent a truck and move everything myself. Frank placed me on hold to speak with his manager, then returned and assured me they could deliver our shipment within 7-14 days of pickup (June 15), specifically promising it would arrive before July 1. Based on that assurance, I agreed to proceed and paid Mayzlin. Unfortunately, those promises were never kept. After our belongings were picked up, we called Mayzlin's customer service line every day for more than three weeks, leaving voicemails each time. Their recording promises a callback within 24 hours, yet we never received a single return call. We also sent numerous emails and repeatedly contacted the sales department, where we were continually told a manager would call us. No manager ever did. I hired Mayzlin to move my belongings from Raleigh, NC to Fort Collins, CO. My items were picked up on May 17, and I specifically explained that I was starting a brand-new job on June 1 and needed my scrubs, work supplies, and personal belongings delivered on time. Instead, my belongings were not delivered until June 12--nearly four weeks after pickup. I had an AirTag hidden in one of my boxes and watched my entire shipment sit in a warehouse in South Carolina for roughly two weeks. During that time, Mayzlin was nearly impossible to contact. We spent about 10 days calling and emailing with little to no response. When we finally got through, we were repeatedly told our shipment would leave "shortly." Eventually, a representative admitted there had been a mistake with my move date and that my belongings were being held because they didn't have enough shipments heading west to justify sending a truck. Nobody could provide a pickup date, delivery date, or any real answers. Representatives blamed each other, and nobody seemed interested in solving the problem. My shipment finally left the warehouse on June 1--days later than I had already been promised--and I was told delivery would take just 3-4 days. Instead, I spent another nine days unable to get updates while watching my belongings travel around the country via my AirTag. At one point, I was literally pleading and crying on the phone just trying to get someone to tell me where my possessions were and when they would arrive. Because of these delays, I had already started my new job and spent over two weeks without my personal belongings. I was forced to purchase basic necessities just to get by while waiting for my shipment. I eventually filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because Mayzlin would not respond directly to us. Ironically, they responded to the BBB but provided inaccurate information, claiming my shipment had already been picked up and delivered when it was still sitting in the warehouse. The complaint had to be reopened. When my belongings finally arrived on June 12, the nightmare still wasn't over. Despite being nearly four weeks late, Mayzlin refused to provide any compensation for the financial hardship, inconvenience, and stress they caused. Instead, they charged me an additional $300 stair fee upon delivery. When I questioned the charge given the circumstances, the movers refused to continue unloading until it was paid. My final bill ended up being over $1,200 higher than the original quote, bringing the total cost of the move to nearly $5,000. To make matters worse, some of my belongings arrived damaged, and the company refused to compensate me for those damages as well. The delays also created additional expenses. I had to purchase replacement essentials while waiting for my belongings, and my mother had to buy a last-minute flight to Colorado to accept delivery because I was at work and could not take additional time off from my new job. This company cost me money, time, stress, and countless hours chasing updates. What should have been an exciting move and career transition turned into a month-long nightmare. Having relocated 14 times throughout my life, including five cross-state moves, I have extensive experience working with moving companies. Unfortunately, my experience with Mayzlin Relocation LLC was by far the worst I have encountered. Moving is inherently stressful, whether it is across town or across the country. Rather than reducing that stress, Mayzlin significantly added to it through poor communication, lack of organization, delayed delivery, damaged belongings, and unprofessional service. Our household goods were delivered approximately a week and a half later than scheduled. While frustrating, the delay ultimately became one of the less significant issues we experienced. On delivery day, the crew consisted of the company driver and two local individuals hired to assist with unloading. Mayzlin advertises disassembly and reassembly services. While our beds and cribs were disassembled before transport, the company representative asked me how to reassemble them upon delivery. More concerning, the cribs were reassembled improperly, with screws left protruding and other screws completely missing. Given that these cribs were for our young children, this created a serious safety concern and required me to disassemble and reassemble them myself. The most troubling aspect of the move was the extensive damage to our belongings. Having completed numerous long-distance moves, I understand that occasional damage can occur during transit. However, I have never seen such a large number of crushed boxes, broken items, and damaged possessions. The volume of damage was far beyond what would be considered normal or acceptable. When the driver presented the delivery paperwork, I declined to sign because it stated that all items had been delivered in good condition. After I informed him that I had documented the damage with photographs, he required me to walk through the shipment and identify damaged items while he took photographs for the company. During this process, he opened boxes and handled our belongings carelessly. His demeanor throughout the interaction was rude and unprofessional. The claims process was equally disappointing. Mayzlin uses CSI Claims, a third-party claims administrator retained by the company. After weeks of waiting and only shortly before the claims deadline, we finally received a settlement offer. Despite the extent of the documented damage, the proposed compensation was just $120. The worst experience ever. I moved from California to Texas. After 10 days the delivery truck arrived. They said to pay the full amount to start unloading. I paid and when they unloaded we found out it is 1/4 of our furniture, they said the rest is coming with the next truck. After 30 days i have not received my furniture yet. Wonderful movers! fast, efficient, friendly, and great to work with. I had a team of 3 people: and each of them was very friendly and made my move very easy. They worked very cleanly and quickly, and all my furniture and boxers were mived without any problems. In fact, then only thing that broke was my fault, when I dropped the ceramic end of the curtain rod. It was great, and i will definitely use their services again! read more

I found this company during my latest search for moving companies - practically no one was willing to handled a move on such short notice, but they agreed. I looked into price quotes, reviews, and websites, and before I finally settled an another option, I called them and arranged the move in less than 10 minutes. We really enjoyed working with them. They're incredibly friendly guys! The night before, we received a confirmation message with an estimated arrival time, and on moving day, they called to say they'd be there in 30 minutes - and before we knew it, they were already hard at work. We were moving from a small apartment near downtown to a house located just outside the city. The worked quickly and efficiently, handling our belongings with care ( and they were incredibly strong - we were amazed at how many items they were able to carry in a single trip to and they had the right materials to wrap it up and transport it safely - we really appreciate that. They are strong, fast, and operate smoothly. All of my furniture is very heavy solid wood. They walk fast even with carry the furniture. I have 3 bed room furnitures. Its a lot. They put some furniture on top others so they drive all in one trip. Those are so heavy I don't know how they put them on top but they walked into the door and stairs. didn't break anything. I can tell they are experienced and strong. I moved several times before. This time is best, honest work! They also very polite and respectful. The price is good too didn't have any surprises, everything is they told me before. The management also very good. Mayzlin Relocation - Move #G4272151 I chose Mayzlin based on glowing reviews on MoveBuddha, which I later realized are heavily slanted and affiliate-driven. That mistake cost me. It seemed like a good price at first... but then my "binding estimate" increased by nearly 50% on move day despite doing an in-home walkthrough. When I objected, I was told I had no choice but to pay immediately or they would leave. This was a classic bait-and-switch. Packing started a day late and stretched to three days instead of one, forcing me to overstay my lease. Several items were lost including a sound bar, charging stands, and step stools. Worst of all, they broke my $3,000 Samsung 8K TV, which I had flagged multiple times as fragile. Customer service has been dismissive. I've filed a formal demand and I'm escalating through the FMCSA and CSI. Avoid this company. Their estimates aren't binding, their handling is careless, everything must be done in cash because they know you'll be unhappy in the end and want to ignore you. read more

Our experience with Mayzlin Relocation was extremely disappointing due to major delivery delays and poor communication. Our shipment was picked up in late June, and our first available delivery date was early August. Despite that, we went weeks without any clear update on when our belongings would actually be routed or delivered. Throughout this period, communication from the company was inconsistent. We repeatedly reached out for basic status information and were often told they were "still working on the route" with no timeframe for when we could expect movement. With kids starting school and an empty house for weeks, the lack of transparency made an already stressful cross-country move much harder. To be fair, the loading & unloading crews were excellent -- professional, hardworking, and careful. But the overall delivery process and customer communication fell far short of what we expected when choosing a full-service moving company. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. If you're considering Mayzlin, be aware that delivery timelines may be far longer than the move in date and updates can be difficult to obtain. read more
