    One of multiple smashed boxes.

In addition to my previous review: UPDATE: MULTIPLE EXPENSIVE DAMAGED ITEMS! So many of the boxes delivered literally look like they were body slammed. My electric bike was damaged!! I'M SO UPSET!! The control that operates the whole bike was smashed off and the metal wheel cover is all bent and crushed into the wheel. The electrical control alone is $100, not including labor for the repair and anything else they find. OH AND! My treadmill was delivered damaged. The electronic interface was completely broken off, clearly by sheer force, and it now does not fit into the base. It will never be the same and I will have to replace that as well. I will attempt to contact them, but based on their lack of response this entire experience my guess is they will not reply or will refuse to refund it. GREAT. Itemized list of broke items: 25 boxes minimum Large storage container: cracked and broken, unusable Treadmill electronic control center: ripped apart Electric Bike: electric control smashed off

1 Star - Broken Promises, Damaged Furniture, and No Refund I would not recommend Mayzlin Relocation based on my experience. As a 62-year-old woman moving alone, I trusted what the salesperson, Chris, told me. My belongings should have been transported directly from Franklin, TN, to Frisco, TX. Instead, they traveled from Franklin to Indiana, then to Georgia, and finally to Frisco. It's no surprise that multiple pieces of my furniture arrived damaged after taking such an unnecessary route. While the damaged furniture was frustrating, what has been even more disappointing is that Chris promised me a refund because of everything that went wrong. Months later, that promise has never been honored. I paid for white-glove service, and it was horrible -- they showed up without any packing materials and used my belongings to pack! Rather than addressing my repeated requests for a refund, Mayzlin has continued to avoid the issue and has responded with matters unrelated to my complaint. I have reached out multiple times and even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, yet I am still waiting for someone--especially Chris--to contact me and make this right. The entire experience has been stressful and disappointing. When you're planning a long-distance move, trust is everything. Unfortunately, the promises made before the move did not match what happened afterward. If you're considering Mayzlin Relocation, do your research and be extremely cautious about relying on verbal promises. Get every commitment in writing before signing anything.

    Text message regarding delivery window

If zero stars were an option, I'd choose it. The crew showed up on time and loaded everything carefully, which earns a star. But everything that's happened since wipes that out entirely. It's now been 30 days without any of my belongings, aside from what fit in my car -not much, with two dogs along for the drive from Texas to Florida. When I booked, I thought I'd done my due diligence and gotten multiple bids. When I mentioned to a competing company that Mayzlin had quoted me $500 less, they warned me it would take at least a month to deliver. I went back to my Mayzlin contact to confirm the timeline, and he told me -- in writing -- that 14 days was the absolute worst case. When he sent the deposit paperwork, I asked about the fine print referencing a 30-business-day delivery window. He said, and I quote: "that is mandated by the DOT and by law any interstate mover has to put that into their contracts. But it will never take that long." Here I am, one month in, and Mayzlin is now citing that same 30-business-day window as the actual terms of our agreement. That's six weeks of sleeping on an air mattress - no TV, no furniture, no kitchenware. My route and truck haven't even been scheduled, let alone delivered. I could have planned around this if they'd been upfront from the start. Instead, they lied outright- the 30-day window isn't DOT-mandated, and 14 days was never their worst case, let alone realistic. Take a closer look at their positive Google reviews: they all read the same, come from accounts with exactly one review, and name-check the moving crew (no one introduced themselves to me, and I certainly wouldn't remember names two weeks later if they had). Save yourself the mistake I made. Stay far away -this is the most disorganized, incompetent operation I've dealt with, and their ethics match.

The absolute worst moving experience ever! I have moved many times. This company is by far the worst. I have never had so many things broken!!! My furniture damaged. The best was feeling discriminated against as a woman by the mover. I had two men, but one was not even an employee of the company. Just some friend the guy grabbed. I don't know how many things I have missing, but I for sure had a case of wine missing. I called and was told I would receive a call back within 24 hours. That did not happen either. The paint chipping and dents in my house for my delivery was like nothing I've ever seen. I think their Google reviews have to be fake! I will call the BBB after the holiday. Stay far away from this company!!!!!

We started at a very reasonable rate about 1 year ago; which was quickly increased by hundreds of dollars. They lure you in with a low rate and then issue increases every 6 months or less. We had to hire a moving company to move all of our items to another reputable facility with proper lighting and great customer service. To make matters worse. I needed to dispose of two bags of paper and a small bookcase. I located the trash bins and the gates were "wide open" upon my arrival. I placed the bags in the dumpster and left the small bookcase outside the dumpster as it was in "good condition". Imagine my surprise when we received a very unpleasant phone call, accusing us of leaving the trash gate open and we were labeled as "dumping" and assessed a $75.00 dumping fee. These folks are hungry for money and will do anything for it. STAY AWAY!!! Choose another facility. It's not worth the headache when there are many other options.

I'd purchased them just in case for frames and ultimately didn't need them. Their policy, and I was assured this upon purchase in Houston, is that they accept returns with receipt if unused. The gentleman at the counter told me I was missing a tie, which I never received, and therefore he wouldn't accept it. Explaining that everything was as I'd bought it (you can tell when a box is used, come on now) he replied "how can I sell that?" The exchange was so argumentative and off-putting. Ok, I suppose it's more difficult to sell returned boxes (??) but that's the policy and it was not adhered to. I left the frame boxes in the giveaway bin - what does one do with those if not moving - for some lucky soul who I doubt could tell they'd sat in a truck for 24 hours. Whatever.
