I went to this place on a recommendation. The wait was crazy to get the food even though the place did not look that busy..The food arrived after an hour of wait and it was cold by the time it reached our table. Did not even taste good. Chicken was undercooked. The lamb was okay. The owner came out at the end to ask how was everything to which we told himthat the food was cold by the time it arrived. Instead of being apoligetic he argued that it takes time to bring the food (from the kitchen???) I have had better Indian Pakistani food elsewhere. Save your $$ and time. Its our favorite spot to come eat on a weekend with the family... we showed at 7:40pm there was two guys on the floor.. however I was really disappointed in my experience here. We arrived and from the beginning it was disorganized. We waited 20 to be acknowledged for someone to take our order. After placing our order we waited an hour and weren't even given our food. Visited the place after a random search on yelp while in Renton. Pleasantly surprised by the food and the hosts. Interestingly there was no menu card. It was all scribbled on a white board. One of the worst and unhygienic food ever. Owner by name chisti of the restaurant is a bit cruel, rude and unfriendly old man, customer service is zero. I have ordered Lebanese chicken kababs and chicken burgers, food is crap and tasteless. He delivered order after 1 hour with crapy frozen spices which burns chest and stomach as you have it. When I shared my feedback, owner is not even willing to take a feedback and infact started arguing with me for no reason. This guy has lots of proud and no respect for the customers. Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the food and warm welcome of the owners. They had the menu up on the board so we ordered the mix kabob plate which came with 3 different styles of meat and came with a side of salad. They also gave everyone complimentary tortilla chips with homemade sauces drizzled that gave it the nice balance of desi flavors. This place was one of our finest finds in the area. My husband and I went out furniture shopping which did not turn out to be very successful. However, our craving for home food took us to this place. Run by a very friendly gentleman who was kind enough to advise on the portion size and the quantity of food to order, this place will immediately take all Pakistanis Home for the duration of the meal. We ordered the peshawari lamb tikka from a very elaborate menu that included Pakistani food as well as steaks and burgers. One dish of peshawari lamb tikka that came with rice and naan on the side was enough to fill our hungry stomachs. The meat was delicious and well done with the perfect marination that reminded me of the bbq we used to do back home in Karachi using Grandmother's spices. Must try place not just for ex pats but for anyone who's looking for tasty food to eat. read more

3rd time here... This food is so incredible! Had Peshawari lamb tikka, Lebanese chicken kebob, Punjab boti chicken, and steak beef burger. So spicy (as in flavorful, not hot spicy, although there was some of that). So tender! The lamb as falling off the kebab. Note, the kebab meal feeds two, easily. I think this is now my favorite restaurant. A Pakistani friend of ours who lives in Redmond came in with extended family coincidentally while we were there... An hour drive for them, as they love it as well. Definitely should give it a try. read more

First of all, the staff is EXTREMELY friendly. The lady who works the cash register always greets us when we come in. Not being familiar with the food names, we ask her for recommendations. 6 out of 6 times she has never disappointed us with her recommendations. I HIGHLY recommend the lamb steak. They also have an incredible rib eye that is so filling, I had to be driven home due to the food coma. The place is clean and the food is impeccable. I ordered the chicken & waffles and Chicken Piri piri. The fried chicken was a deep fried chicken breast. What happened to the good ol chicken leg and wing? But, it tasted good and it came with a chipotle dip. The Piri Piri is also made with marinated chicken breast (I got the 1/4 order and I was told from the waitress I would have to get the full order to get an actual wing, leg, or thigh). She order the Hamburger with fries and I had the chicken, and wow that was a big meal I ate it at 2 Pm and we were both full till the evening, we were stuffed. my wife could not finish her lunch. I heard that he might be moving to the East side, which I hope he comes closer to Bothell, as we really need more halal options there. My only remark would be the food had a bit too much salt for my taste, other than that it was great. Would definitely recommend him and go there again. Incredible food! My favorite is the Lebanese chicken. You can smother it with cucumber tziki sauce and it's heavenly! They serve it with a basmati rice sprinkled with cranberries. I really wanted to like this place. But mains took more than 45mins to come out! They weren't even busy. There were two occupied tables when we arrived (one of which was already served and eating their food). The owner approached us about our meat order after about 10-15minutes after we already put it in with the server. How would you want the meat cooked, she asks. We reply "medium". Nearly a great hour later, our lamb tika comes out very well done. It is tough and dry. Spices are okay but it is also over salted. Oh, and it's served with RANCH.. not yogurt sauce?! What is going on here?? It's served with a half of grilled onion (still raw) and charred tomato. Some sweet flavorless rice. No naan. Upgraded to 3 stars for friendly helpful server. But would not return for another experience of this. Owner also came off haughty and didn't apologize for the food taking so long. Maza Grill is by far one of my most favorite Pakistani/Arab/American fusion restaurants! The owner is very welcoming and the portions are just as friendly. Come as a couple or come as a group, I think dining here is a great experience just considering the atmosphere and service. Now, in terms of food... I have nothing but good words to describe it! I had a chicken steak of some sort and it was very well seasoned and authentic. Absolutely mouthwatering. I believe I had some kebab and rice dishes as well and recall them being delicious. This is a hidden gem! I've always been curious about this place because of the good reviews but finally got around to eating there about 6 weeks ago (i know, it's been awhile). We went there on a Sunday around 2pm and we were the only people there. We ordered the sizzling lamb kebab, chicken tikka masala, and some fried chicken for the kids (forgot the name for it). The servings were so big! I was surprised by how tender the lamb kebab was and it was spiced just perfectly! The tikka masala was also good according to my husband and the kids fried chicken was just a bit too spicy for them. I'm drooling for the kebab as I'm writing this. Lol! This is my favorite restaurant, also my brothers and we often come here when we have the opportunity. Originally looking for delicious lamb and we stumbled upon this hole in the wall and quickly became our favorite restaurant. We always order the lamb shank, although all the food looks delicious, but I really can't break free from the lamb shank it's too good to miss out on. The staff is very friendly, and so are the other customers as well. It has a friendly family atmosphere, very clean, spacious, and welcoming. The only downside is it's a bit expensive so we can't come here as much as we'd like however the price is well worth it in my opinion. read more
