What can I say about this little hidden gem. We visited this place during eid, it was closed for some family event. So we thought of trying it again during a weekday for dinner. I am so glad I did. It's one of the best restaurants I tried especially for the lamb. I am usually not a big fan of eating lamb outside as its not cooked well. We were served some chips n sauce for free as soon we were seated. Later we ordered Lamb Peshwari, Chicken Cashew curry, Garlic Naan, Tea, Mango Lassi and Cheesecake. Lamb came with Saffron rice which was amazing. Meat was cooked to perfection its the best meat i tried in my life so far; Hands down to the best lamb. Chicken curry was great and very rich in taste. Naan was great in taste but personally felt it a bit thick. Tea was amazing. Mango lassi was not great though a bit water down. When we were asked how food was and during conversation I mentioned today is my birthday. She got us Cheesecake for Free. It was very sweet of her. We had a great time at Maza Grill ! Located in a strip mall , one may get the idea that food is probably average, but I can surely say that this place serves best grilled kebabs , meat dishes made with love and patience . We ordered their special of the day blackened chicken steak , tandoori chicken and Punjabi kebab and every dish was absolutely delicious . Generous amount of meat and rice and cooked slowly so meat remains moist and not dry like a lot of other places I've dined at . The owners are veryyyyy sweet folks and make sure their customers are well taken care of . I totally recommend this spot for some amazing grilled kebabs and burgers and good service . This review covers the only two items I have tried from Maza Grill's menu. Tried GRILLED CHICKEN BURGER COMBO and it's bomb. The chicken patty is juicy and cooked well with medium spice. If you like your food spicy, you may have to ask to make it hot! But try the burger as is and you won't be disappointed. Definitely 10/10. Also tried ZINGER CHICKEN BURGER. Its not one of the best I've tried but it's still great. I just wish the chicken patty was a bit thinner (that's how i like my chicken patty to be). It's overall cooked well, medium spice level, and served with a side of fries to give it extra kick. 8/10 to this one! Their seating is spacious and they serve HALAL food. Tried this place on a whim... I was so glad I did. The dining room is sparse however it is very elegant for a strip mall restaurant. The seating is comfortable and could easily pass for a casual date night excursion. I know this is my first experience at this restaurant but I experienced such amazing hospitality. The server was informative and her suggestions were spot on. She was also very patient with our sizable group with limited middle eastern dining knowledge. She is obviously an asset to this establishment. Now to the food... Not only did every meal have its strong points, the presentation was pretty special as well. I must admit I have never had fresh naan until today. That experience alone was worth the price of admission. Not to mention all the meat is halal and you can definitely taste the difference. To top it off, they have delicious gulag jamun, and an ice cream tray that is beautifully presented. My compliments to the chef. I hope to be back here soon. Great experience! read more

We ordered Peshawari lamb and Punjabi chicken.. Both superbly done.. The serving is quite large, if you're not really hungry, one serving can do for two people. The price is between 14-29$ , which seems a little higher, but the items are definitely not over priced, Keeping in view the serving size and quality. The only thing is the wait time, which can be around 30-40 minutes. Your best bet is to order over phone and then come here. So we tried this place for the first time tonight. We tried their house rib-eye, and the Italian chicken steak, both dishes came with a small vegetable salad and baked potatoes with feta cheese. I have to say, the rib-eye was absolutely fantastic! It was nearly fork tender and came with a puréed sweet onion sauce that paired great with the entire dish. So this review was going to be almost 4 stars, I had placed my order about 35 minutes before me arriving there as I have heard, they take a while to make the food. I arrived around 37 minutes later, and when I inquired about the food a minute before I arrived, they had given my food to someone else... Excellent food. Cordial service, checked on us several times during our meal. The owner himself personally walked around and thanked every patron. First off, the service here is absolutely terrible. Even though the waitress was super kind and nice, the fact that they pick and choose who they want to serve food first to, regardless of who came first, is insane. There was people who came in 20-30 mins behind us and got their food beforehand, and it wasn't just phone in orders. It was people that we physically saw order in front of us. Our food took about an hour and 10 mins to arrive. Secondly, they barely have anything on the menu that they offer in the restaurant. Multiple items were "sold out" and we came in before a dinner rush, and this has happened to us before here. When the food came, it was cold and some items were not fresh. I asked for a medium well steak, and got medium to medium rare, which was a huge disappointment. The Moroccan chicken steak was just doused in salt and oregano, and was disgusting. We ordered like 4 items and 3 naan. And the bill was over $140+. This place is insanely overpriced for mediocre food. Will NOT be coming back, and if you plan on coming here be prepared to pay insane prices for terribly cold food. read more

Best steak burger I've ever had. Large portion size with fries on the side. Perfectly tender meat. You won't be disappointed. Place is clean, much better than it used to be. They cleaned up the seating area and expanded it. There's no set menu BTW. They post their menu on a board everyday so you gotta pick from that and sometimes even those items are out of stock. Besides that, food quality is good and portions decent. The waitress and the owner lady are very nice. I'd give this place a strong 8/10. Only disappointing thing was the quality of the Punjabi tea. The food is really, really bland and doesn't taste fresh. I like spicy food but that's the only flavor any of the food had, nothing else. Heat doesn't mask blandness. Prices are a bit high considering the so-so quality of the food. I had seen good reviews for this place on Instagram so was looking forward to trying it, sorry to say I'm disappointed. Amazing flavor...authentic Pakistani style cuisine with only love put into this food. We've been here a few years back and we're able to stop in again and boy why we haven't been back sooner I'm not sure but it was worth the wait! We ordered the Lamb sheik kebab platter and Lamb Nihari with their tandoor baked Naan....O-M-Geeee is all my husband could hear while I kept taking piece by piece of his Naan lol there was more than enough for both of us but honestly if you just had that you'd be satisfied! It was true authenticity with each bite soft but light and the perfect crisp with the sesame seeds just made it the perfect side to the Nihari! And yes the Nihari basically a slow cooked stew that normally is eaten as a breakfast but really anytime is just fine with me! The lamb shank was literally falling off the bone on its own and just the little dip into it with your naan and a scoop of the tender lamb in the well cooked juice was so comforting and brought it home for us! Ok that was just hubby's dish now for the platter well of course amazing...I mean I could eat kebabs all day and these ones were perfectly spiced with great meaty flavor yet so satisfying. The rice was so tasty and yes I stole some more naan to eat my dish with. Honestly I had to guard my leftovers the next day because my kid who also loves kebabs kept asking if I was going to eat that??? I mean of course but I had enough to share with him and he enjoyed every last bit. How can I not have reviewed Maza Grill yet? This place is amazing. Yesterday we decided to have a late Valentine's lunch here, but they weren't open quite yet. We ended up at Los Bigotes in Tukwila (I did review that) but we promised the owner we'd come back. We actually ordered delivery that evening. We didn't even hesitate to order for our guest without talking over the menu choices...everything there is made that delicious and amazing. We got four lovely lamb dishes with rice. Full of flavor, succulent, and just perfect...as usual! The portions can feed two of me. The lamb was butterknife tender, and the kick of heat at the end of a bite was just right. If you told me I had to eat this lamb for the rest of my life I'd happily accept my fate. Nothing was too spicy and nothing was too bland. The rice was as usual a study in perfection, with the natural basmati aromatic notes complimented by an expert hand with the spices (which were never overpowering). Last time we went I tried the tea at the end of the meal. It wasn't too hot, or too sweet. The tea was made with a rich creamy base and was the great finish to a grand meal as the owner promised. Unfortunately I believe it's made with dairy and recently I found I can't do dairy anymore, but I still recommended it if you drop into the restaurant. Yes, it's really that good! While I like delivery because of my busy lifestyle, if I had a good two hours for a meal I'd choose Maza Grill without hesitation. I LOVE this place. When my boyfriend and I first moved to the neighborhood this was the first place we found. The owner is amazing, she introduced us to some wonderful foods and her hospitality is so on point I felt like a guest in her home. Her husband is also wonderful, so friendly and with a ready smile. I seriously can not recommend them enough. The only warning I have for you is that this is not fast food, they make everything to order so you will wait, but trust me, it is so worth it. I've been to this restaurant quite a few times since it opened. The owner is extremely nice and just so happens to know my dad which has its perk when it comes to paying! Not a fan of the interior since almost all south Asian restaurants have that semi-struggling theme going on with the worn out chairs/booths and tables and dim lighting. The food however is great! First of all it's HALAL!!! My fav is the piri piri chicken has that kick of spice to it which I love! Wouldn't say the steak is the best as claimed like y'all know you've had better around the nation don't play okay. The service has been great every time I've gone not to mention during Ramadan they do offer an iftari which eh it's aight, something they can work on. Place is run by a husband and wife-lovely couple. They are friendly and come by your table to ask how the food was. I like that. The prices are fair for the portion you're getting and the food is good. Hard to find Halal food in greater Seattle area and even harder to find good halal spots. This place is both. I've had the Steak which is good and the burger which is good too, but the real gem are the chicken and rice. Also, there's a prayer room in the back which is nice. First the chicken, it's so juicy and flavorful. Plus it comes in a sword! Second the rice, so fragrant and tasty. It's a big portion so bring your appetite. In terms of ambiance, it's a whole in the wall so don't expect a 4 star dining experience. Just expect good food. The menu is on the wall and small which I like. A great experience, before I forget you have to try their homemade hot sauce! It's hot and garlicky, but when you top the rice or the meats with this hot sauce, yummy! So we were invited to this restaurant by a friend who's been a customer here for a while, the hummus is truly one of the best recipes I've ever tasted with their fresh baked nan bread, it's a must have here. We got the chicken kabab plate, the ground lamb kabab and the beef kabab plates and they were all so good. I highly recommend the chicken if it's your first time here. Their Steaks looked so yummy so this will be for the next time if we ever visit Kent again. The owner and his wife were kind and friendly, kept checking on us to see how is everything.
