Solid food. If you've been to Si, Casa Flores, you'll recognize the menu (and decor) straight off. Most of the entrees are excellent. I stay away from anything deep fried as it tends to be greasy, but try the pollo mole (chicken with mole sauce) or arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), two favorites of mine. If you're a pasta fan, try the pollo ala crema (chicken with creamy sauce), no pasta on the dish but the sauce will be familiar. I look forward to eating here every Thursday as It is one of my top places for lunch in Central Point. The staff is wonderful and the facility is always very clean every time I have stopped in. Went there for lunch with a buddy. First time. They have got a nice and reasonably priced lunch menu. I went with the chicken burrito and asked for it to be topped with green sauce. No problem. Great service so far. Very friendly. Not a long wait, but of course, as I do at every Mexican restaurant, ate too many chips and salsa before the entree shows up. Burrito shows up with rice and beans on the side. Very tasty. Cleaned my plate as did my buddy. Feeling good, just about the right amount of food for lunch. Waiter shows back up to check on us. We tell him everything was great. He asks, "Free ice cream?" My friend and I look at each other, sure why not? So we say, "Yes, two." The waiter asks, "Two?" We say yes. Why not it's free right? Waiter takes off. We thought everybody was friendly before, but now whenever an employee walks by they nod and say hi. Waiter comes back with two servings of a very large scoop of ice cream inside of a fried flour tortilla topped with strawberry sauce and whip cream. Me and my friend are in disbelief. This is free? What the heck? My friend is one of those very happy, effusive types. Maybe they REALLY liked us. We get started on the ice cream. It is very good, nonetheless, neither of us are able to finish it. We start laughing at our good fortune for such an awesome lunch. Still not believing the free ice cream. One of us says (I don't remember who), "Do you think he said "Fried ice cream?" Oh crap! We realize it wasn't our charm that got us free ice cream, it was probably our stupidity that got us two fried ice cream sundae's. We wait for the check to see which it was. The bill arrives and we flip it over. Of course, the bill lists two fried ice cream sundaes. All said and done, with tip, we are in for an over $30 dollar lunch. This for a couple of guys that usually will go for a $5 foot long at Subway. Oh well, a good story to tell our wives and reaffirm what idiots they married. Aside from the sundae fiasco, I recommend Mazatlan Grill and will go back. Good food and service. read more

I give it two stars and second star was due to food being good. On two different occasions we got bad service. Food was good but service wasn't. First off when you have someone with an infant offer a high chair, not make customer go find there own, second giving customers menus are good once again don't make customer go get there own, don't take ten minutes (and yes I know it was ten due to my phone and timing it) to acknowledge the customer and lastly make sure your prices when you write up ticket is the same as on the menu. I wouldn't have said anything on yelp but this has happened before on lack of customer service. It is safe to say we won't be back soon. read more

My husband and I stopped in here a few nights ago. It was incredibly busy, but it was worth any wait we endured. The chips & salsa NEVER ran out before more was being offered to us. His soda was constantly getting refilled, and I had a bomb virgin strawberry margarita - absolute perfection. Our dinners were on point. I am not a big fan of Mexican food and I loved this place! Ordered the arroz con pollo and it was so flavorful and perfect. Loved the mushrooms, peas, and onions as well as the delicious sauce. This restaurant has some of the best Mexican food that we've had, anywhere! My husband had a deluxe taco salad. I had their #13 lunch, which is an enchilada, a pork tamale with rice and beans. The shrimp fajitas were specially made and the green enchilada sauce was blended fresh for my husband. Because all their sauces had flour in them. worst, worst, worst Mexican or any other kind of food I have eaten in this valley.. probably this state! We went at 7:55pm. On a Thurs. night it was not crowded. Our orders were taken, and then we waited... and waited and waited. We asked our server for chips.. but 15 minutes later had to ask the bus boy. The tortillas for the dinner came out 15 minutes before the entrees. I complained to the hostess that we had been waiting 40 minutes. 2 of 4 of our meals came out. Although the plates were hot, the meal was not. 5 minutes later came out the next 2 meals. Again... the restaurant was not crowded. There were maybe 18 people in our section of the restaurant. And the food was beyond/below mediocre. We went here one time 2 years ago and it was not good. I thought maybe it was an anomaly... but no... I will NEVER ever go back and spend way too much money on such bad food and worse service. read more

This is our go to Mexican restaurant close to home. I consider it more of a Mexican American restaurant rather than an authentic experience. However I will be sure and try some of the dishes others have recommended next time. I almost always order chile rellenos and chicken enchiladas. First of all the chips and salsa are some of the best I have had in a Mexican restaurant. It is one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants I've been in! Their rellenos are battered and a little heavy on eggs in the batter and I really can't tell if the chiles are fresh like I can in most restaurants. I make rellenos myself and am active with the rellenos forum, so I'm a little critical. However they use a lot of cheese on their dishes and all in all it's a tasty experience. The chicken enchiladas and beans on the plate are tasty as well. They serve a little coleslaw type salad on the plate which is very refreshing for some, if you like slaw. In other words no sophistication of sauces, but you'll be satisfied. For dessert I've tried homemade flan with a liquor which was delicious except they put too much liquor over the top of it. It was enough for two people. I also ordered the traditional dessert of fried tortillas with cinnamon and sugar but they made it into a rich dessert with chocolate syrup, which I was not expecting. That was enough for four people but not very authentic and very rich. The service has always been very good when we have been there. Recommend it if you are near Central Point! If you want authentic Mexican food try La Tapatia in Phoenix, Oregon on Hwy 99 near 1st street. It is in the back of the local Mexican Mercado. (Grocery) read more

It was super busy for a weeknight or not enough people working-it took a LONG time to get water and chips and salsa-the chips and salsa were awesome though-we ran out of chips and asked for more but it never happened-they were too busy. Food was good not great-I probably would not go back as I am from out of state and there are so many other choices in the area. read more
