    Everything we ordered.
    Peggy W.

Came here because of the good Yelp reviews--big mistake. Our server pushed the two most expensive items on the menu, and somehow they both came out tasting exactly the same. Everything was drowning in tomato sauce, the meat and seafood were overcooked, and the whole dish was way too salty. Zero distinction, zero balance. My son ordered chicken quesadillas... and honestly, look at the photo and judge for yourself. How does a full-service sit-down restaurant mess up something that simple? I've had better quesadillas from food trucks and random street stalls. It was soggy, falling apart, and so unappetizing that even my 13-year-old refused to eat it. As for the adults--we just looked at each other and shook our heads. Also, a note to the server: recommending the most expensive items only works if they're actually good. These weren't. $150 for 4 adults and 1 kid after tax and tip--for a terrible lunch. Don't fall for the hype. This place feels like a straight-up tourist trap.

    Massive burritos
    Stephanie D.

I ordered the burrito and wow, it was massive, which was great, but unfortunately it was very salty. The waitress was super nice and attentive, and the ambience of the place was pleasant overall. However, what really affected the experience was what seemed to be the owner sitting at a nearby table loudly on his phone the entire time. It was distracting and took away from the otherwise nice atmosphere. As soon as we got up to leave, he immediately walked over to our table for reasons I'm not sure of, which honestly gave the place a bit of a weird vibe. The loud phone conversation was especially annoying and made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, the staff was friendly and the portions were generous, but the environment could definitely feel more welcoming and professional.

    Complimentary chips and salsa

Mexican restaurant with a good variety of dishes. There is complimentary chips and salsa which were great. The platters are delicious and plentiful. We took leftovers to go. Some of the shrimp weren't fully de-veined though. They also have gucamole that they nake in front of you so you can customize it to your preferences. Ours turned out a bit oversalted though.

Good , excellent, and delicious, visiting from California, and excellent decision. Fully recommend.

This food was AWESOME! We stopped in from Florida on a drive to Zion. Some of the best table side guacamole I've ever had. The steak tascos were banging! The salsa was delicious. The staff was so kind and attentive and you could tell they genuinely wanted you to like their food. 10/10 place!

We found this restaurant accidentally and absolutely loved the food service and prices. Highly recommend for a quick tasty bite.

    Churros

To begin, one of the servers chased after us as we parked in the strip mall to try and get us to come in. We eventually decided to go in, as Mexican food for dinner sounded like a good option. We ordered shrimp in a spicy sauce and Churros. They were both terrible. The shrimp was drenched in tomato juice, tasting more like canned shrimp than anything remotely mexican. The Churros came out and had something red inside it. After initial taste we realized it was some artificial raspberry jam. I personally believe that if you are going to put something untraditional in churros, at the very least it should be in the menu description. On top of all of that, the server was incredibly rude. There are many better options around town, including taco bell down the street. Not impressed the slightest.

Visited Utah for the first time late August. It was Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to have dinner after a long day at Zion. To my surprise a lot of places are Closed Sunday and it was hard to find a spot. After looking on yelp I found this place, it was open and close by so we drove over to give it a try based and the great reviews. When we arrived it was full so we did wait about 35/45 min Which I was ok with because their wasn't many options besides fast food. When we finally got seated they did take what felt like a long time to come take our order. My 4 year old ended up falling asleep. I still ordered him a kids taco order. When they brought out his food i noticed the meat was Raw. I'm so Glad my son did not eat that because that would have been BAD! The whole time we were there our server never came to check in on us . I kept trying to get her attention so she can come over to our table. Besides my Sons taco and bad service I will admit the rest of our food was good. I ordered a wet supper burrito and I will admit it was delicious. My Mom ordered mole Poblano and she said it was 10/10 My husband ordered chicken fajitas and he also said they did have really good flavor. I was supper tired after a long day at Zion and tired of the long wait for food so I didn't even take a picture of our food besides my son's raw food. Overall it the food had great taste but the service was horrible. I do understand it was a very busy place . It was full but better service would have made it a better experience. If I ever return to Utah I might return to give it another shot.

This is our third time visiting and I finally remembered to do a review. Every time we go we get something different and all the food has been great! The servers are always pleasant and very helpful with the menu. The restaurant is decorated with a Mexican flair and is clean and very tasteful. The meals are very budget friendly and the servings are very large, this is a must for Mexican if you are in Hurricane1

Holy man this is the best Mexican I've ever had and the portions were huge and the price was not expensive I got a meal under the steak with shrimp and Fried Tomato's peppers and onions with a ribeye and it was about 27 dollars and it was huge. The service is good to and the staff is fast with our food getting it within 15 minutes. The Interior of the place is nicely kept with Mexican decorative and furniture.

Definitely 1 of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Highly recommend, large portions and absolutely delish

8:30 PM on a Sunday night, the place is completely packed, they moved like lightning to get our food and gave us excellent service. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We ended up going twice during our vacation. The first time was Sunday night around 8 PM. It was busy, but Tristin helped us pretty quickly. They also had a Sunday special on Old Fashioneds for $9. My husband said they were delicious and the price was a bonus . I ordered one of their signature cocktails -- the Cactus Fruit Margarita -- and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We went back again on Wednesday night after our Narrows hike as a little treat before heading home Thursday. It was even busier that night, but the power team of Gabriel, Ethan, and Tristin was on deck. Gabriel and Ethan's hustling orders left and right. Tristin was cleaning, preparing and helping the guys out as much as possible when needed. This trip made everyone feel welcomed while serving drinks to perfection. This night I had -The Lasso and Pornstar Martini. These were my favorite ! Husband had the same -House Old Fashioned. We had a great time both visits and definitely recommend this place as a perfect nightcap spot. One thing I'll say -- if you go and see it's busy, be patient with these guys. They work really hard to make sure your drinks come out delicious and made right.

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

We were able to be seated without an issue, they just opened around the time we came in. The ambiance was cool & different & the secret door was a cool touch. Drinks were great. I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Our first stop heading north we tried calling repeatedly to order but nobody answered the phone. We told them of our dilemma when I had to walk into a very local's bar to order. We decided on the very average chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a house entree salad. On the way back south we stopped in the hotel again, but drove around a bit beforehand. We had the dog and cat with us so the short walk across the parking area had us ordering here again. This time we ordered the, again very average, chicken Marsala, some decent onion rings and a child's small cheese pizza. Again, not much excitement here except the fact that I had returned to our room without any utensils. I was assured they were in the bag as it was dropped off to me while I sat and waited (already 20 minutes) an extra 10 minutes for my meal to be prepared. While I waited I paid and I asked the service person to please bring it out to me when complete, and to please ensure their is utensils, ketchup and ranch dressing. I didn't check the bag as I left because I had to pee. When the wife opened the bag, there was one 2oz ranch, 23 ketchup packs and "NO UTENSILS!!!" I heard that while in the bathroom. The wife stormed out of the room and had someone's a** in the restaurant portion of the establishment. That's my babe. She was pissed. Perhaps ensuring staff pays closer attention to the non-local patrons from the hotel next door, since we are the ones writing the reviews. Perhaps have someone tending to the greeting stand inside the front door to aid in getting things consistently correct from the bar or the dining room. I guess this is the place to be if you are a local, because the service is obviously not the same for the travelers passing through. Really, to-go orders should all be given utensils, regardless of the order. Dicks
