Food and service was fine. Surprised to see chips and salsa were $7.99 for dine-in. If it would've knocked my socks off, then I wouldn't have cared as much but they were just meh. My girlfriend and I stopped by here bc we were too tired to cook on the way back from zion. Food came slow but oh boy did we chow down. At about 7 pm the place was pretty empty and now I know why. While the California burrito was decent, some of the salsas were pretty watered down and had little taste to them, just spicy or not spicy. The coke I got was more like sparkling water with a hint of Coca Cola. Never had a soda this stretched with water, absolutely ridiculous. That's one way to increase your profit... The price is $ 8.79 for a Cali burrito. For this price the burrito itself was alright. The rest was disappointing unfortunately. Pretty awesome Mexican restaurant in Hurricane, Utah. THE place was clean and the service was fast and friendly. Fast food style in the fact that you order at the counter and they bring you your order. They have a large menu with a wide variety of options. My wife and I shared a some carne asada and birria street tacos along with a potato taco and a refried bean taco. All were very fresh and tasty. The flavors were enhanced further by adding from their well stocked salsa bar. We came for dinner and had eaten a late lunch so we ordered light. We noticed some of the food at other tables and they were huge serving sizes. All prices on the menu seemed pretty reasonable, especially based on the portion sizes. We'll return to try some other items that looked great. read more

We got into town Sunday. Not many places open. Craving tacos, was not expecting good Mexican in this little town. Found this little gem! Service excellent! Food was very tasty and fresh. Definitely homemade. So many tasty homemade salsas and sauces available as serve yourself salsa bar. They even have pickled red onions. Price was good, portions large. We got there at the perfect time 6pm, the medium size restaurant had only 1 other patron. After we ordered and sat down floods of people came in, seemed like locals. The food was great but my friend ordered a Cali burrito specifically without pico, but when he received the burrito, it had pico. No big deal, he went and asked for them to remake it but was told the burrito has quac and the guac has tomatoes and onions.... the Cali burrito doesn't have quac. Also it's not very hard to remake something for a paying customer. A little disappointing. read more

What's up with all the good reviews? We stopped here - family of four - and all of us hated it. Quesadilla was chewy meat and crusty outside. Enchiladas were shredded, unmelted cheddar. Chimichanga was dreadful. Breakfast burrito was inedible. Even the chips were hard and stale. The only thing that was interesting (NOT good) was the salsa bar. TONS of spice. Not much flavor. We're so sorry we stopped here. We thought we were getting something delicious and YUK. We almost left but we were starving and really needed food. This wasn't it. read more

Very good! The food was excellent! Very authentic! My grandkids loved it! We ordered chips, they were fresh! Salsas we're delicious! They offer cucumbers and radishes in their salsa bar! Mmmm! We ordered chorizo and egg burrito and they allowed customization. My husband and I ordered Chile rellenos with enchiladas. Excellent sauce was tasty! Very good! We chose to dine in and I'm not sure many people do because the table had a layer of gritty dust and had not been wiped off in a while. Absolutely the best Mexican food! Come to visit St. George/Hurricane for vacation and stopped at Adelita's for dinner. I got the #4 chicken enchilada and chili relleno combo plate. It was the best chili relleno I've ever had in my life. Coming from California where there are a bunch of Mexican food places. This was absolutely fantastic. I ordered an enchildada/cholesterol relleno plate. The relleno was ok, but the cheese enchilada was the worst I've ever had. Ask it was, was a tortilla wrapped around unmelted shredded cheese. It was ridiculous. We ordered chips and salsa because none comes with the meal as it does in most mexican restaurants. I was shocked when it was $7.49. Salsa was ok, chips were nice and crispy, but pretty greasy. We won't be going back. read more

We walked in and immediately could tell we were going to eat some authentic Mexican food. We ordered an Asada Burrito and two different Gorditas. The burrito was delicious and the Gordita with pollo en salsa roja was pretty good. Carne asada Burrito was my first order from here awhile back and it was amazing. Good portions of meat! Tortilla was amazing and their salsa bar was if not the best a very close to in town for the variety and freshness of salsas and toppings available. I like that this place is just as easy to sit down and eat as in a normal restaurant, you get to seat yourself! Take out is just as easy! This little family owned place, is by far, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Hurricane, UT. The salsa and chips are made fresh!. The chips are made to order, the salsa is delish! This is our 2nd time in a week! The beans are wonderful, the rice is tasty and full of flavor. Last time here I had a beef Taco plate. The shells, fried here to order. OMG!! Just like my mom made. They had it sitting back there getting cold somewhere. No explaination. No apology. Just a "Here it is". Plastic forks, plastic plates and paper cups, flimsy cheap napkins. Serve yourself drinks which they over charge for. Have the idiotic credit card reader that asks for a tip, starting at 18%. Good grief, for what? They don't even come and buss the tables.
