Menu, tostada salad and rolled taquitos

Everytime I visit Zion national park, this place feeds me well. I usually have tostada salad with stake as my favorite! I tried rolled taquitos today and it was so good too as I expected. I wish I live next to this restaurant so that I can have it everyday!

This restaurant is very authentic, the employees are super sweet, the sauce is amazing! The experience overall was amazing!!! (Also good with kids)

El Rancho, Mexican restaurant building & menu, 2 Al Pastor tacos, Chicken enchilada with green sauce, & Mexican nachos.

We were driving through the small town of LaVerkin & saw this place decided to stop & try their food, it was great. The family moved here from Southern California Andrew was cool, it's a cute place & definitely worth stopping by... Enjoy.

    beef burrito with no beans

Low quality food. We had high hopes based on the reviews. The Chile Relleno plate was dismal. The beef burrito had white mush (we said no beans). The French fries were undercooked. The chips and pico were decent. I can't even begin to describe how bad this meal was so please look at the pictures. The lady who took our order was very nice. This is a hole in the wall which does not bother us. It was the food that was so inedible that bothered us. I don't like rating places a one star but I feel that the 4.5 star rating this restaurant has is not genuine.

A little place in the side of the road. Strongly recommend it. Very typical Mexican food, everything was delicious. But in top of it the has Puposas (salvadorean food) and they were amazing. A great place to stop and eat real food.

Terrible value, small small portions for $17. The uploaded images and reviews are NOT accurate. Better Mexican food around I'm sure.

It's a small, seeminly family run place. Very friendly, good food, good prices. Perfect after a morning hiking.

Holy cow, we are SO GLAD we did!!! We ordered so much food because as a family we were starving and we also wanted to try everything! The fry their own tortillas for their hardshell tacos. They had 3 hardshell tacos for just $5! What a deal. The Chile Relleno burrito was really good. It's a big burrito stuff with 1 or 2 chile relleno's and rice then grilled. It's soooo good! I really loved the Birria Tacos. It's 2 tacos filled full of barbacoa, onions & cilantro served with a great portion of consommé with a side of rice and homemade refried beans. This might have been my favorite dish that we tried. We also really enjoyed the Chile Verde. It's a large portion of tender flavorful pork, corn tortillas and rice and beans. We thoroughly enjoyed this as well. We ordered a variety of different street tacos with different meats and loved them all. There is even a salsa bar so you can get your own hot sauces they make in house, limes and even pickled jalapeno's and carrots! Everything about this establishment is a win! The staff is friendly, the music playing, the decor was just so authentic. We couldn't have picked a better place for dinner that night. We left extremely full and happy! If you're in the area do not miss the opportunity to eat here.

The fries were cold and had a strange chemical aftertaste. I also don't like sour cream, crema, cottage cheese, or anything similar, so before ordering I specifically asked whether the red cream sauce was made with heavy cream or crema. I was told it was heavy cream, but after one bite it tasted distinctly sour to me. The service itself was pleasant, and we never complained about the incorrect order. That said, when a customer takes only one bite of their meal and declines a to-go box, it seems reasonable for someone to ask if everything was okay.

It's a pretty casual indoor setting, with a very cute outdoor patio that is ideal in cooler months. I was here in the height of summer so I opted for an indoor table. It was quite busy, which I assumed was simply because it's the only option within 20 mins in either direction. However, when I took my first bite of the complimentary chips and salsa, I realized this was the real deal. I practically licked the container of salsa clean. I also ordered a Watermelon refresher, and I thought for sure, this is where I'll be disappointed. A margarita-style drink in the middle of nowhere will surely have some gross commercial sour mix thrown in there! How wrong I was. It was a perfectly sweet and salty delight, and actually tasted like watermelon, which is very much unlike many watermelon margaritas out there. Finally, the shrimp empanadas. At this point, I was feeling optimistic. I mean, the server said they were good, but isn't he obligated to do that? Well, he ain't lying. They were fire -- literally, came out piping hot, had spicy jalapeño salsa, and tasted like a blaze of glory. People, if you are driving through Leeds, be sure to try this place. I hope you love it as much as I did!

Let's just say there were a lot of empty plates at the end of dinner. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked, the linguini had tons of flavor with garlic, olive oil, lemon and fresh basil, and everything tasted fresh. The portion was generous too, and I would absolutely order it again. And a special shoutout to Matt, our server! He was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and somehow kept a table of 9 taken care of without ever making us feel rushed. Great service really makes a meal even better, and Matt definitely did that for us. Delicious food, generous portions and wonderful service. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered a burger with onions and mushrooms and added a fried egg (I really like the idea after having had the Au Cheval one). The patty is a little under seasoned but all the other toppings add to the flavor profile so much you don't really notice. The bun is nice and fluffy! I felt like I almost had to unhinge my jaw to get a good bite, but they really do load up the burger. The fries are almost potato wedge esque and are just perfectly lightly seasoned. As we were eating, a little snake slithered its way under the table! I don't think I've ever seen a snake that small. The waiter said it was an Utah king snake -- he was able to pick it up with ease and relocate it outside, as the table of us looked on in shock. We sat on the patio seating (but it's actually sheltered from the outside -- minus the small holes where the snake may have gotten in), and the temperature there was perfect! There's some interesting decor outside. All in all, a very solid meal experience!
