    Roll tacos were delicious

Was checking in for a Mexican food place near us. We were here on vacation visiting. I have to say this place was better than some of our places in San Diego! We had to wait a little bit, but it was well worth it our waitress was also the cashier and the host so she was busy. But well worth the wait.

LOVED this restaurant. Not only was It's a food unique, and very good. The service was friendly, and they do not use seed oils (except in the fries). I'll be back, and I'll be recommending this to others.

My burrito was dry. It came with fries....(?)

My burrito was dry and flavorless. It came w fries (?) I like fries but I've never had French fries as a part of a Mexican meal. If I want fries, I'll go to McDonald's. The chips and salsa appetizer also had no flavor. Margaritas were about 15$ a glass. Bottled beer was 5$. I spent around 30$ on one plate. It seemed like a lot of money for one burrito. The staff was good.

Love the plants and colorful decor!

Most excellent Mexican food! My husband and I were visiting from California (where Mexican food truly is some of the best!), and we were so impressed with the quality and flavor of this food. I had enchiladas and my husband had a huge beef burrito with fries. The ambiance is also wonderful with lots of beautiful lucious plants, great Spanish music playing and our server, Lulu was great!! OH! And the honeydew agua fresca was so delicious and refreshing!

Pork with pumpkin seeds. I forget the name.

We were headed for a hike in Zion and passed this small shopping strip in Leeds and looked this place up on Yelp. The ratings were great so how could we pass it up? We opted for seats inside since it was hot out. We ordered the elote corn, the pork with the pepita seeds and a side order of black beans. The elite corn toppings were great, but the corn was a little dry - maybe day old? The 2 highlights of the meal were the fresh (and thick) corn tortillas and the black beans - just the right amount of spice - I just wish it had been a larger portion of beans - we practically liked the bowl. The pork with pumpkin seed sauce was 3 thick, yet tender, slices, and I wish there had been more of a pronounced pumpkin flavor - and more pumpkin seeds. Our server was sweet.

We really enjoy this place! Located in Leeds, about 20 min from St. George. The food is absolutely outstanding. Our fav dishes are the shrimp ceviche (cooked shrimp) and today we had the chile relleno, which we shared. They serve the relleno with hand-made corn tortillas, and my husband asked for more. The service is friendly, funny, and gracious. We had a couple of original coca-colas in glass bottles, imported from Mexico. Last time we had the flan for dessert. The ambiance is lively, painted with beautiful colors, and decorated with plants and humorous signs. The two bathrooms are attractive and clean. There is even an outside patio, with a little stage, that looks like it could be used for events. As you can tell from the photos, before (and after) we enjoyed ourselves. We would drive from St. George at the drop of a hat to eat here.

This place is a hidden gem! You wouldn't expect it to be the experience that it is from looking at the facade. The girls and I started with some nachos and a few random drinks from their delicious drink menu. The nachos are covered in a sauce that I forget what it's called and sprinkled with savory brisket. I enjoyed (sparingly) the crema sauce that we got on the side. It's like a watery sour cream. After our app and drinks we all ordered a different drink and again were very impressed by the presentation of every drink! They were all mixed well and each had its own personality and decoration. Easily, this place is a return stop! PS it's only about 20 minutes from the Kanara Falls trail which I highly recommend doing!

The BEST homemade Mexican restaurant in all of southern Utah!! Another awesome enchilada meal and perfect service!! We go here every week!!

This little place is amazing! I had the smothered burrito and the beef was soooo tender! Flavor was amazing and it was more than I could eat which is saying a lot. Came with a great salad with spicy ranch. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they also we amazing!! Great flavor and great size! We will definitely be back... Update. Came back and had the shrimp empanada and a chicken special.... Amazing food and Noah was incredible making suggestions!

This is a classic story of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Or, in this case, a just-off-the-highway-on-an-overlooked-exit restaurant. This is a gem in the middle of the not-much-there part of Utah north of St. George. We stopped in to try the mole, and it was fantastic! It's mole rojo, and it is such a complex flavor that you'll just have to try it. And the Three Amigos appetizer was great, too. It could have practically been its own meal for me!

Holy cow, we are SO GLAD we did!!! We ordered so much food because as a family we were starving and we also wanted to try everything! The fry their own tortillas for their hardshell tacos. They had 3 hardshell tacos for just $5! What a deal. The Chile Relleno burrito was really good. It's a big burrito stuff with 1 or 2 chile relleno's and rice then grilled. It's soooo good! I really loved the Birria Tacos. It's 2 tacos filled full of barbacoa, onions & cilantro served with a great portion of consommé with a side of rice and homemade refried beans. This might have been my favorite dish that we tried. We also really enjoyed the Chile Verde. It's a large portion of tender flavorful pork, corn tortillas and rice and beans. We thoroughly enjoyed this as well. We ordered a variety of different street tacos with different meats and loved them all. There is even a salsa bar so you can get your own hot sauces they make in house, limes and even pickled jalapeno's and carrots! Everything about this establishment is a win! The staff is friendly, the music playing, the decor was just so authentic. We couldn't have picked a better place for dinner that night. We left extremely full and happy! If you're in the area do not miss the opportunity to eat here.

Let's just say there were a lot of empty plates at the end of dinner. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked, the linguini had tons of flavor with garlic, olive oil, lemon and fresh basil, and everything tasted fresh. The portion was generous too, and I would absolutely order it again. And a special shoutout to Matt, our server! He was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and somehow kept a table of 9 taken care of without ever making us feel rushed. I ordered a burger with onions and mushrooms and added a fried egg (I really like the idea after having had the Au Cheval one). The patty is a little under seasoned but all the other toppings add to the flavor profile so much you don't really notice. The bun is nice and fluffy! I felt like I almost had to unhinge my jaw to get a good bite, but they really do load up the burger. The fries are almost potato wedge esque and are just perfectly lightly seasoned. As we were eating, a little snake slithered its way under the table! I don't think I've ever seen a snake that small. The waiter said it was an Utah king snake -- he was able to pick it up with ease and relocate it outside, as the table of us looked on in shock. We sat on the patio seating (but it's actually sheltered from the outside -- minus the small holes where the snake may have gotten in), and the temperature there was perfect! There's some interesting decor outside. All in all, a very solid meal experience!
