Boys are back in town. Welcome back, and after visiting the remodel, it was worth the wait. From the front-to-back area to the indoor and outdoor spaces, you get very positive and delicious vibes. Gia is kind and friendly, and we loved the new ordering system. No more long lines when ordering your food. I remembered long discussions on the side among the family and friends. Lol Everything looks good on the menu, except I miss my Brussels sprouts appetizer. But we tried fried olives with Harissa sauce, omg so so good. Chicken shawarma, combo kabobs, and roasted chicken; everything was served fresh and warm. Our server was very efficient, but actually, everyone around was kind enough to stop by and help us. I mean, everyone who was not even serving our table was awesome. Where did you find these angel workers? Drinks were good, and the tea had a strong cinnamon flavor but was not bad. We did miss seeing Saif and Jordan, but everyone was so kind, so it was ok. Love to see you all next time. Let's talk about Parking. That doesn't change, and I get it. Even though we went at 4pm for dinner, there was no parking. I found a parking space in the back, where I used to park when this was Green Valley Market. So many memories with this location. Congratulations and thank you again. Inshallah, see you guys soon.
I'm so glad this place is open again! It had been a couple of years since my last visit and I'm happy to say that the food quality and service are still just as exceptional as I remembered. The restaurant was busy, which is to be expected. Mazra is incredibly popular and for good reason. My family of 4 waited about 30-ish minutes to be seated at around 6:30pm. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but I also noticed a steady stream of takeout orders, which is probably the way to go since the restaurant can get pretty lively and loud. My family shared the BBQ deluxe kebab pack and the dip trio appetizer, which were more than enough food for us with leftovers to take home! Everything was fantastic. Meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and nicely seasoned. Lamb was the standout! Every dip in the trio was delicious, especially the roasted beet. The garlic potatoes side were just as addictive as ever and remain one of my favorite sides here. If I have to note one thing, it's that the parking lot is tiny so you'll probably have a better shot parking in the street/neighborhood. Otherwise, everything from the food to the service was amazing and I'll happily keep coming back to my all-time favorite Mediterranean restaurant.
Amazing service The people guiding you t your table is so accommodating I first sat in the outside but I decided I would like to dine indoors and they helped me switch! I had the steak shawarma wrap lavash wrap it was delicious! I think they have hummus in it too? With garlic sauce and hot sauce I added fries which was a fantastic add I ordered a mint lemonade to go since everyone was raving about it I don't think it's for me, a bit too sweet and concentrated Next time I might do raspberry lemonade to try and have a cup of water ext to me The spice tea they have for self serve is good! I loved it The ambiance is really nice laid back but more date like setting with the fairy lights outside and it's kind of like you're on a vineyard dining background outside
I've been meaning to come to this place for the last 6 months or so but for one reason or another I was never able to make it until now and wow- it was 100 percent worth the wait. When you keep hearing buzz about a place and everyone you ask who's been to that place has nothing but good things to say, naturally your expectations are going to be very high, and even with high expectations Mazra still impressed me. The amount of food you get is more than generous, they have a self-serve water and tea station, the service is great, ambiance is beautiful, and the most important thing of course: the food was excellent. Truly a Bay Area diamond. One of the best restaurants I've been to
Mazra absolutely knocked our socks off! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere. The scan-to-order menu from your phone was incredibly easy and convenient, and the service was impressively fast. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The portion sizes were huge and definitely memorable; our entire group ended up taking home to-go boxes. This was one of those meals where you're already planning your next visit before you leave. I can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!
We had been wanting to come here for the longest time but couldn't get down to San Bruno. Once we finally did, we realized we should have made the journey so much earlier. The service throughout the meal was great and everyone just made you feel welcome. The decor and ambiance also make it feel like you're on vacation, with small touches that transport you. Plus the smells of the delicious food don't hurt either. We started with the Halloumi Cheese Roll which was a nice switch-up on texture. It could have used a bit more flavor but the crunch mixed with the cheese was a very good start. We also had the Tzatziki, the hummus, the tabbouleh salad, house pickles and the garlic potatoes as our various sides all which was very good. Everything packs a punch of flavor and goes super well with the warm soft pita. Also a super star for me personally was the mushroom skweres. Id never had that before but was a huge fan. Finally the mint lemonade is also SO FREAKIN GOOD. 100% can't wait to go back!!
My friend ordered us takeout and I got the chicken shwarma wrap and added the hummus dip! It was really good! I just wished they added more of the pickle inside. It also came with some spicy sauce and white sauce. And I used all of the sauces include the hummus. If you like more flavor, I would suggest to order an extra drip on the side. It was very filling. I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 5 because it was very oily. The oil dripped through the box and onto the counter. If you're eating this on your lap, the oil may drip through onto you as well. Other than that, I would definitely eat here again!
This spot lives up to the hype. The plates are beautiful and delicious. The hummus, tzatziki, and toum dips are super flavorful. The pita bread is piping hot and fresh. The shawarma loaded fries are so loaded with meat, sauce, and condiments. Must try-shawarma chicken, kofta kabobs, roast potatoes, and hummus.
Why did I not try this place sooner? I always pass by this place but never thought to give it a try. I was getting lunch with a friend on a Friday and he suggested this place. The restaurant was pretty packed for a Friday afternoon! There was even a little line out the door. We ordered a bunch of random things and all of it tasted great! The service was a hit or miss depending on who came by.

Wow, wow, wow! I am so impressed by this place! The aesthetic + decor -- immaculate! I loved the hanging flowers, cute neon signs, and openness of the restaurant. Although the tables were separated, it still felt very communal. The food was fantastic! 5 stars all around for each and everything we tried, and let me tell you, we tried A LOT of food. Highlights included the baba ghanoush, the garlic roasted chicken, and the roasted cauliflower with tahini. Every bite was delicious, satiating, but not overly heavy. It was the perfect meal! Lastly, I loved how they laid out their service. You first order and then grab a seat, which I liked. Even though we didn't have an assigned server, there was really no need. You got everything with your meal, water and hot tea are complimentary, and all the utensils + to go containers are left out for guests for after their meal. If you have not checked Mazra out, I highly recommend it! I will definitely be back to try more of their food out in the future! read more
Mazra is really great - they opened for business in March 2020 and they managed to thrive because the food and the service are fantastic! I've been on several occasions and always enjoyed my meals. All of the meats are delicious - I've had the lamb, beef, and chicken kebabs, as well as the chicken and beef shawarmas, the rotisserie chicken, and the lamb shank. The kebabs are my favorite - they're grilled to order and come out juicy and smokey. (You'll see and smell lots of smoke if you're within a block away) The salads are pretty good too - I usually get an Arabic salad (tomato/cucumber/parsley) and either a hummus or baba ganoush to eat with the pita. They have a very nice patio with several tables in the shade and most of their main dining area is very well ventilated. They recently announced that they're going to be closing temporally soon to remodel so it'll probably be even nicer when they reopen next year. read more
Glad we got to try this place out before their renovations. Visited in March 2023. This place is busy! Glad we came at a good time where we found street parking and the line was short. We wanted to order almost everything. lol. Anything you try on the menu is pretty good. I would definitely get the whole cauliflower head. The portion sizes are plenty. The photos I posted, we split the food amongst 4 adults and a 5 year old. And we still had left overs. Hopefully with the renovations they'll have a lot more seating and air circulation. It was pretty packed inside and I would have loved to have sat outside where it wasn't so cramped and the weather was perfect. read more
Okay.. listen.. Mazra is the truth. I wish I lived closer so that it's more assessable to visit but not going to lie... I'm making the drive every time that craving hits. Rotisserie Chicken Plate - 5/5. The flavor of the chicken, texture of the rice and pickled veggies were all great! The chicken was juicy and not dry at all. The sauces -- fire, so flavorful! Lamb Chops Plate - 5/5. Was told that it was delicious and would get again. I'm no longer personally eat lamb but can say that they smelled great. The service was consistent and the restaurant was super busy when I visited on a Sunday. The restaurant was nice and clean inside. Parking can be a little difficult but trust me.. the process.. is all worth the wait because that first bite -- is dang rewarding!! read more
Mazda is definitely the real deal! They clearly know how to offer amazing food and service at very reasonable prices. The lamb shank was OTH with great depth of flavor and sauces. The pickles and baba ghanoush were on point. Service is super friendly and the free tea is a nice touch. The mushroom pita was not as mushrooms as we would have liked. Next time we will get more items from the grill. The falafel was very fresh and tasty. Their parking lot is super small but we were able to find neighborhood parking easily. Definitely a great stop anytime you're near SFO. read more

Pros: I love the baba ghanoush! I wish the pita came out warm though. My favorite meats are the beef kabob, lamb kabob, and the lamb chops. The meats are cooked well and have a nice char flavor. Free hot chai tea! Cons: extremely small parking lot in front with 8 spaces max. We arrived at 11am when they opened and we took the last spot already. There is additional parking in the back but there's also not many spaces. read more
The hype is so real. Everything here was amazing, the staff was super friendly, the food was flavorful, the portions were really generous, and the restaurant itself super clean and comfortable to dine in. We ordered the double kebab plate w/ beef & chicken and the shawarma plate. Each plate comes with two sides, we got the baba ganoush, roasted veggies, hummus, and dolsa. I wasn't too sure what to order for my sides so the server suggested the roasted vegetables and I am so glad he did. The roasted vegetables were crunchy and had a really nice smokey and garlicky flavor. I would definitely order this again! I liked how the baba ganoush was on the chunkier side, it had really good texture and I would definitely order this again. The chicken kebab was super tender and I loved how flavorful the beef kofta was. Hands down the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. I'll definitely be back! read more
We've had food from Mazra twice now. Once was at the restaurant and the second time was through delivery by DoorDash. Both times we ordered the combo with a lamb kabob and a shrimp kabob with hummus and pita bread and tabouli salad. The second time, in addition to the combo order, we ordered a falafel wrap As an initial matter, I really like the kabobs. The lamb is flavorful and both are perfectly cooked so that they are not tough. The pita is also great although when you get it via delivery, it is a little tough (which is, I guess, to be expected). The falafel though was disappointing; and hence the four stars as opposed to five. And it wasn't because of the delivery. The wrap was smaller than we anticipated and although we specified that we wanted it spicy, it was not spicy at all. We've had better falafel wraps at a number of places around the Bay Area. This is still a great place and we'll definitely come back. We'll also give the falafel wrap another try and upgrade if it is warranted. read more

This is one of those places that you miss if you haven't been in a while. I don't think I've had a bad dish here. The roasted cauliflower is my favorite- flavored just right and grilled to perfection. For $13 you get the whole head of cauliflower! Everything else we've tried are awesome as well. I mean. If you walk towards the back on the way to the restroom, you can see the grilling action happening. Service is friendly and I think for how busy they are they've got the seating and serving systems just right. read more

I absolutely love eating at Mazra! I have been eating here for almost 3 years now and can say that the food quality is amazing and cannot compare to other Mediterranean spots. I find myself returning to this restaurant multiple times a year with friends and family. The atmosphere at this restaurant is lively and nothing but good vibes! I also appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff here is also so welcoming and attentive which is what I truly appreciate. In terms of food, I have continuously ordered the same exact plate every time cause I can't pass up on their tasty chicken! The serving size is perfect and comes with 2 sides and will leave your stomach satisfied. Today, they still had baklava available so I decided to try it out. Let me tell you, that it such a perfectly made delicacy! I definitely recommend to leave room for trying out their homemade baklavas (if they aren't sold out yet) Overall, Mazra is the perfect spot to eat with friends or family with such affordable food spot with high quality food and attentive service. I definitely to try this spot out at least once if you are in the Bay Area! read more
Mazra is my #1 favorite Mediterranean place in the bay! Came during non-peak time and I felt like my food portions were bigger and juicer than last time. Turn around time for food was quick too. I went with the double (chicken) kebab plate and I think this chicken is far better than the chicken shawarma (what I ordered last time). The chicken is so plump, juicy and pack with spices. The garlic toum is a fantastic addition. This place was ranked top 100 places to eat in the US (# 23) on Yelp and they deserve it! read more
Mazra is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the peninsula. From the vibes to the food, everything is superb including service. I love the artwork and decor on the walls and ceilings! You line up to place your order and then you grab an open seat. The cashiers are always super nice. This place can be super crowded at lunch time during weekdays. Parking is hard but they do have 2 small parking lots in the front and back of the restaurant. My go to order is the double kabob plate with fries and cucumber yogurt sauce. All of their sides I tried are yummy but their fries are to die for!!! Trust me, get the fries. The kebobs are seasoned well and grilled over charcoal which makes this place better than others. The salmon plate looks amazing too! My coworker said the fish was cooked perfectly. I'll have to come back and try it next time. Keep up the good work Mazra! read more
I always hear good things about Mazra and finally got a chance to try them out. We ordered their deluxe kebab family pack (2 Chicken, 2 Lamb, 2 Beef, 2 Shrimp + 4 Lamb Chops, 2 sides [garlic roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables], rice, and pita), a whole rotisserie chicken, a 6-hour lamb shank, a side of hummus and baba ghannoush, and extra pita bread. The food was very tasty and phenomenal quality for take out. We ate about 45 minutes to when it was initially picked up and everything was still piping hot and tasted amazing. I really enjoyed every meat entree except their shrimp (no seasoning and was very dry/overcooked). Both the hummus and baba ghannoush were very tasty and paired well with the abundance of pita we received. I was impressed by how the rotisserie chicken was so tender and stayed juicy with flavor. My favorite sir was the garlic roasted potatoes, something I will dream about eating again and again. I'd definitely come back again and try their wraps and other side dishes- they are totally worth the hype! read more

Delicious food but dining service needs improvements in process. Great portion size, assortment, and flavor dishes. Dining experience: Waiting in line 20 min to order and then 25 more min for first-come-first-serve tables was not a good experience. I hovered for a table for a long time and then when I found someone who was going to leave, a staff member came to take the table from us and attempt to reseat us as our food was ready. After a few more minutes with our food tray, we got seated at a table someone else had claimed. I think the staff meant well but it was chaotic. Food experience: Roasted cauliflower was fresh and delicious. The tahini was very nice. Try to eat quickly since it becomes more limp when cold, but still flavorful. 6 hour lamb shank was very tender and seasoned well (though the yellow rice was more plain). The meat fell off the bone easily. The wood fired kebabs were phenomenal I enjoyed the beef and shrimp. You could see the grill and smoking meats in the back parking lot. Complementary hot habibi tea was available which was nice. Be prepared for a wait to order and dine; though to go orders could be very promising. read more
Why is this place so popular? I had some skepticism about Mazra's rating. However, that dissipated in the blink of an eye as soon as I saw the food and took the first bite of my Falafel Wrap. It was a delicious, well-balanced dish where none of the ingredients stood out from the rest. The falafel left me with the best impressions, and the fries are one of the best I've tasted so far! The only downside was that we ordered the food to-go and there were no napkins inside the bag, this was a little frustrating. read more

Food great, service great, vibes amazing, but parking is absolutely terrible. However, I personally can't rate the quality of a restaurant by metrics of how hard it is to find a spot For the pricing of the bowls, you certainly get a good amount of food. I was super full (big eater here) but I didn't even get to finishing all my rice. I really like the amount of options they have for sides, and the options all look good too. It was really hard to pick. I picked tzatziki and hummus to better match with the pita bread in the bowl. Bread is served warm, doughy, and fluffy to satisfy all the texture cravings of a good pita bread. read more
This place has been super hyped up so of course, I had to try it... twice! The interior is gorgeous and spacious. The staff were very friendly. But the food is alright. The falafels are the best things here. None of the sauces wow'd me. The kebabs and lamb chops were ok. The baklava lacked that flaky crisp I usually get at other places and a bit too dense for my liking. Sure, the food looks beautiful, but I'm here for the taste. I just don't really see how I can justify paying over $110 for the deluxe family pack for just mediocre food that's pretty to look at. Not my jam, but to each their own! read more

The food at Mazra is always delightful. Please prepared for a long line with long wait times. I definitely recommend ordering ahead so you can pick it up when you get there. They do have a parking lot but it's tiny. It's better if you find street parking and walk over. The wait for the food is WORTH IT! Everything I ordered was delicious. This time, I got the fried cauliflower, falafels, street wrap with chicken kebab and a shawarma plate. Everything is so fresh and authentic. They also serve complimentary hot tea! 5/5 every time!! read more

WOW WOW WOW, this place def deserves its 5 star Yelp ratings Food: I tried the 6 hour lamb shank, hummus, baba ghannoush, and baklava. Everything here is just so good, the lamb was so tender it fell off the bone and the hummus and baba ghannoush dip was sooooo good I could eat it forever. If they sold a gallon size of the dips, I would buy it and eat it. Their dessert, baklava was also super good but it does lean on the sweeter side so if you don't like sweets, you prob won't like this. However, it paired really well with their complementary tea. Service: you order at the cashier and then seat yourself anywhere. The people working here were really efficient in directing people to empty tables and cleaning them so don't worry if the place is super packed and you can't find a seat. Ambience: really big restaurant with two separate seating areas and the ambience was super cute and enjoyable read more

Oh my God, you can go wrong with this place and anything you order from that place. They have a seasonal menu with the seafood options you can get a grilled fish which can be like delicious they have great grill options for lamb, beef, and chicken. The place inside looks so hygienic and amazing that you would just feel so appetite and they have amazing collection of drinks to go with the food. Their service is super fast and efficient. You just have to order take a ticket and the food will be on your table within minutes, there is a little bit of a parking problem, so make sure you find a parking spot on the side of the road read more
This review is long over due! I've been to Mazra's many times always recommending it to friends and family. At first, I was skeptical too...how can a place uphold 5 stars and with so many reviews. Well, lemme tell ya. The place inviting, clean, staff is ridiculously helpful and friendly (like they'll give you what you ask for and a lil more), it's open seating, and lastly, the most important factor...the food is wow, SO GOOD. Feast for your eyes and your taste buds. That Garlic Toum and Chili sauce on top of whatever you're eating is always a good idea. Price point is reasonable as well. Recommend - Double Kebab Plate with beef - 12-hour Lamb Shank - Street Style Wrap - Falafel Wrap - Grilled Salmon plate - (Sides) Fries, Tzatziki, Baba Ghanoush, hummus, Arabic Salad Just ok Fried Cauliflower, was soggy and too oily Quick tip If the parking in the front is full, try the back. Seats open reasonably but for a more chill experience, come early. read more
I'm not the one to crave middle eastern food at all . EVER . But I couldn't help but scroll through Yelp one day searching for a place and for some reason I had this craving for hummus ! The photos looked superb. Opted for the double kebab plate ($20) chose the shrimp & beef option. OMG seriously this was probably one of the best kebab plates I've ever had . The beef was super flavorful and rice was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was super fresh and the garlic butter went amazing with the shrimp. You can tell the shrimp was excellent quality ! The pita was so soft and chewy I was literally amazed at the texture . It was so amazing with the hummus. We also ordered fries and the fries were superb ! We had it with the tzatziki which was phenomenal. Such a great combination. It had so much flavor. The baba ghahhoush was excellent as well ! Loved the grilled taste of eggplant and the citrus . Tasted so fresh and vibrant. Overall this place lives us to the hype! I also loved the interior of the place . Looked very modern and defintely an aesthetic place to dine in. Great place, great food. Been wanting to try this place and last week was finally the day! Ordered chicken shawarma plate, halloumi appetizer, double kebab which I got lamb and beef, and sides of dolma and hummus. Shawarma plate and double kebab plate is amazing! Unfortunately the halloumi appetizer had too much spices in it and just too overpowering for us. Dolma and hummus are not necessarily the best, the pita bread is also a little tough. All in all, I'd love to go back here for more lamb kebabs! read more
WORTH THE HYPE. Heard about this place through tik tok. Sooo goood! My bf and I ordered the double kebab plate with lamb and beef. So tender and juicy. I've had my share of hummus but this place 100% has the best. We also got the steak shawarma wrap and it was smaller than I expected but the flavors really blend well. I got the garlic roasted potatoes as a side and it wasn't the best but I'll definitely be back to try more things off their menu. The only downside is their parking lot in the back and in the front is so small. Could fit maybe 8 cars at most. Otherwise it's street parking but no time limit on Sundays. Also it's a order first and then sit situation. Like there's no host to seat you. Furthermore, if there's one thing you take away from this review: order the Arabian mixed berry drink. The flavor is so unique and out of this world! I'm not sure if this is a seasonal flavor since I don't see it on their menu or website but I've never tasted anything like this and wish more places offered this beverage. read more
Such a great find!! We wanted to order everything! We got the crispy cauliflower, the falafel mezze sampler, and the chicken shawarma platter to share for 3 people. It was absolutely amazing! We also tried both types of homemade lemonade (basil mint and strawberry) and that was unbelievable. Loved everything!! A warning, it gets so crowded, even on weeknights. Be prepared for a long line and a wait for food. Also please note that they don't serve alcohol. If I had to state one thing they could improve on, it would be a humble request to serve alcohol. But overall, loved this place. read more
If you are in the mood for Mediterranean food (or even if you aren't), Mazra is the place to visit. This hidden gem has some of the best kebabs I've eaten with everything made fresh to order. My double kebab platter was split into two parts with the sides coming first, while the kebabs came later, and to be honest, I kinda prefer it that way if I can eat the sides as an appetizer, while waiting for the main entree to finish. Chicken kebab was fragrant, tender, and juicy, while the beef kebab was flavorful and soft. Make sure you try the complimentary hot tea, or splurge a bit and get the mint basil lemonade which was phenomenal! Pros: Amazing food, great service, fast and reasonably priced. Ample dining space. Complimentary tea. Try the double kebab platter with chicken and beef! Cons: Limited parking space both in the front and back, but street parking is available nearby. No store signs at the front yet, but that's part of the hidden charm. Look out for the green storefront, and you've reached the right place. read more

Beautiful interior and delicious eats! Happy to support a local business especially when it's been rated highly and makes "Top places to eat" lists. I was worried about the small parking lot but there's more spaces towards the back. Don't be misled by the blank building! Hiding inside is a wonderful and bustling family operated eatery. For 2 people we ordered - 6 hour braised lamb shank. Tender, fall of the bone meat, unctuous rich sauce and flavorful rice. - fries. Very crispy and seasoned - baba ganoush. Freshly made and not bland at all - steak shawarma wrap. Tender meat and finally a wrap that doesn't leak liquid!! - mezza sampler. Everything made fresh. Went great with the pita. Falafel is green and herby, tastes better with the dips. I recommend sharing it w/ at least 3 people. - house made mint lemonade. Citrusy and very minty. Super refreshing on the hot day. A fast casual eatery that is warm and welcoming. Although, they could've given us more pita. If you get the sampler I would even ask for extra pita. Overall the food we ordered was cooked to perfection and had robust flavor and great presentations. If you go to the back parking area you can even see the cooks grill all their meats on a giant grill. Everything is definitely made to order using fresh ingredients. I'd definitely come back to eat here and bring more company with me too. read more

From being a market to now a restaurant with the line out the door and beautiful decor. Mazra has a special place in my heart. Their Lamb Shank has been around from the time I first step foot in this place back in 18/19. During the Pandemic they renovated and moved to becoming a full on restaurant. Was thoroughly impressed with the flavor of this place! Been wanting to come here for quite sometime and finally was able to make time on my lunch to do so. Got the street wrap with chicken shawarma. It has fries in it (I'm guessing that's the "street" haha). The wrap was warm and fluffy and the chicken is so flavorful and juicy. Paired with taboulleh salad, delicious. Pro tip: avoid the crowds by getting early/going on an off day if you want to find parking. Kind of a not so great neighborhood in terms of space. read more
Wow is all can say. I heard about this place through yelps top 100 restaurants in the U.S which Mazra made and I can see why. The owners are super friendly and the environment of the restaurant is lively and communal feeling. I got the beef shawarma plate with roasted potatoes and babaganoush and everything was amazing. The babaganoush Smokey and roasted potatoes were moist on the outside and crispy on the inside. Lastly the steak was smokey from the grill they smoke the meets in outside in the parking lot. Lastly to drink I had the banana date shake which was simple and creamy. Overall I will be returning and it's a restaurant I would give a 10/10 which I give so rarely. read more
I can see now why this place has so many 5-star reviews: it's probably the best restaurant in the San Bruno area. Everything we ordered came out wonderfully with good portions that were thoughtfully plated. The staff was very friendly, the lamb kebab was flavorful, and the chicken shawarma was juicy - what more can you ask for from a Mediterranean restaurant? Cannot recommend Mazra highly enough. Delicious, affordable, great service, & amazing vibes. The restaurant is very "Instagram worthy" for pictures. All of the workers seem genuinely happy and are so nice. The food is impeccable. The beef kofta kabobs are literally cooked in the back on a characoal grill, what more can you ask for!! This place is amazing, but because so many people love it, it can get really crowded - meaning long line to order & parking can be tight. But it is so worth it. This is one of my favorite places to eat at not only because of the great food but because it's so affordable for the Bay Area. If there was a way to give 6 or 7 stars on Yelp, this place deserves them. Where do I start? I was quite amused by their boast 'best kebabs in the galaxy' having just returned recently from the Middle East. Well you know what, they are pretty close to the best ! The chicken, lamb and beef kebabs were spot on. Spicing, right level of char, and perfect texture. The rice was superb and every grain had aroma and flavor. The mezza platter was superb as well. The initial pick up was quick since I had a friend help me drive to get there. The parking is a little tight and the place is packed during lunch. I was able to jump out of the car and since it was such a big order, one of the guys at the restaurant carried the food to the car. The customer service here and the workers you interact with are always super nice. The large order was for an office birthday party and I was worried about how the portion size would be and whether it would be enough.. however Mazra really delivered and there was plenty of food! People were able to go back for seconds and even take food home. Everything was fresh and delicious. The meat for both the chicken and steak shawarma family packs (note that it is $5 extra for the steak shawarma so instead of $75, it was $80) were well seasoned. The rice is on the bottom and there was a lot of it. The garlic roasted potatoes was one of the large sides included and they were cooked well and were soft. Note the size of the large side of tzatziki because that surprised me. It looked like a bowl of soup, but it was needed with the amount of shawarma that was in the family packs. The falafel mezza sampler is great value for the price ($14). The salad and sides were fresh and light. The size of the pistachio baklava was also surprising. They are not like the ones pictured before and they're a third of the size that they used to be. The one pictured in this review was 3 orders and I don't know if it was worth the price ($18). I didn't get to taste one, but people who did try it said it was good though. If you're thinking of a meal that will get you full, but won't leave you feeling heavy, definitely check out Mazra! read more
I thought we pulled up to the wrong location due to the exterior looking like an out of serviced grocery store. But immediately stepping into Mazra you are hit with a wonderful ambiance. The smell of grilled meats will welcome you in addition to fun decor. The menu has standard option but the food itself is really good. I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever eaten (meats weren't as tender as I've had other places - chicken kabob was a little dry) and thus the 4 star rating. Food takes a little while to come out but they will send your sides out first which is nice to snack on. And also most likely due to food being cooked to order and also the high volume of takeout orders they are filling. Their fries are so crispy and crunchy! Pita is soft and pillowy. Meats definitely can taste they are grilled. Portion size is good ! overall I would definitely be back! read more

Regarding the family pack it all depends how you eat and if they are all adults. For sure 4 adults will be satisfied. It's a little bigger. Not spicy and amazing food :)
