We made our reservation on line, and were given a spot two days later, with Carlos Poma, 2:00pm on a Friday with a two-hour window. The appointment is confirmed by email, and later by an email reminder. We alter our schedules to be free. 4:00pm arrives -- no Carlos. I call. The receptionist appears to have no way to reach Carlos, at least by phone. She does not know Carlos's schedule and she does not even know whether he is working. But somehow she concludes she can fix things - I am to be contacted soon. Another call an hour later, a different receptionist, another run-around. Now it is the next day -- no call to me, no email, nothing. These folks are not professionals. read more

This has been the best repair I have ever had. Carlos was on time and worked on a Sunday (and Mother's Day) until the problem with my Miele dishwasher was resolved completely. Company never showed up to the appointment, cancelled after the appointment - all after i took off from work to meet the technician. I suspect it was related to the fact that I was requesting the business license and/or the evidence for being bonded and insured. I requested this during the appointment setting and they never provided it. When I asked again prior to the appointment they didn't provide and then texted 15 min after the appointment that they were cancelling. I requested a call with the owner Carlos, but he never called. Multiple calls unreturned from this business. Not sure if this is a licensed business. My dryer stopped heating. It's installed snugly in a closet on the third floor so I was super motivated to try to get it fixed vs replacing it for both logistics and cost. I had zero experience with appliance repair and called around to several companies who provided long wait times before a tech could come out and some grim ballpark estimates for repair. Carlos was able to come out the next day on my schedule, worked quickly to diagnose the problem. He even gave me two options for repair and recommended the less expensive option. He returned promptly the following morning with the necessary part and my dryer now heats! The price was about half of the grim estimates from other suppliers! Even better, he removed a HUGE amount of lint from inside my dryer that may have posed a fire hazard. I guess you're supposed to have them cleaned out every 2 years?! As many mentioned, the communication is a big issue. Making an appointment is easy via a third party service or online. Carlos came on time. He needed to order the part to fix the washer. He said it would take 5 business days for the part. We agreed for the cost of parts and requested the repair. We payed him the service charge ($105 plus tax) which we were aware of on that day. It was 12/20/2019. I did not hear from Carlos since. I left message to his phone twice inquiring the status of part order. No call back yet. We are without the washer for 3 weeks. **update** Carlos phoned us on Saturday evening, and fixed the washer on Sunday morning. He had the parts but could not reach us by text due to our home phone. Made the appointment online, and got a 2 hour window, which definitely beats the 8-5 window I got from another appliance repair service. I got a text when he was on his way. He showed up on time, had a great attitude, diagnosed the faulty pump in my washer within 5 minutes, quoted me $210+tax for parts and labor, and was done and gone before the 2 hour window for arrival was even up. My washer was a pain because it's stacked under the dryer in a closet on a drain pan that prevents it from sliding out. How to choose an appliance repair service? We chose Carlos and Mazter based on number of reviews and recommendations, and I'm happy we did. Our 3 year old dishwasher was leaking, and out of warranty. Carlos made his first appointment as expected, and found the cause after over an hour of troubleshooting. When he returned to remove the part for repair, he found that the problem wasn't the part but the hoses. He made the trip to Tukwila warehouse for new hoses at no extra charge, and finished the repair the same day. His final bill was so modest, we kicked in a little extra. Carlos saved us a couple hundred dollars. Tip: his scheduling service closed our work ticket after the diagnostic visit, so I had to go through again to reschedule the repair. I contacted a couple of repair companies, and decided to try Mazter because they could come the next day - Saturday. (Plan B required waiting a week. Carlos helped us with a broken dishwasher. He came out same day, was prompt in his communication by text, and quickly and honestly diagnosed the issues. We ended up needing to buy a new dishwasher that day and he picked it up at the warehouse, brought it back and installed the new one. He also was super careful not to scratch or damage anything. Really disappointed with this company. I was hoping to work with a local neighborhood company but they've totally lost my confidence. It's been 2 weeks of non-returned calls after I was told the part I needed to fix a dishwasher was out of stock and wouldn't be in for 4-5 business days. I called after 4 and asked if they could give me an idea of when it would be delivered so I could plan accordingly. Never got a call back. Called a second time and never got a call back. Texted the actual repair person (since no one at the company would return my calls) a few days later and was informed the part was back-ordered and would deliver the following week. I was then told the part would deliver yesterday and the installation would be today. Never heard from anyone. Texted the repair person and was advised Fed Ex changed the delivery date to tomorrow. Dishonest and unprofessional . Paid $350 and my ice maker was never fixed. Carlos came couple of times, replaced a part, but it never worked. Then what they did is give me the runaround until the warranty expired. For about 5 weeks, they said they'e figuring out options. Then 2 weeks of scheduling conflicts and misunderstandings until the warranty was over. Lost $350. Terrible service. read more

This review is based on our recent experience with dishwasher repair. It was easy to set up a call, the receptionist is prompt and able to schedule an appointment in a given timeline. Our service call was done by Carlos. He seemed knowledgeable about dishwashers and able to diagnose the problem very quickly. He identified the problem is with the case breaker and recommended to replace the sensor. The part was not with him so they rescheduled an appointment for next day. Carlos replaced the case breaker and put the dishwasher back with proper caution to not damage our hard wood floor. He tested to make sure there is no water leaks and function is normal before and after replacing the part.
