I stopped by this bakery looking for end-of-school gifts for teachers and principals, and it ended up being a huge success. I picked up an assortment of Danish pastries to share, and they were a hit. Everyone loved them, which made gift-giving easy and stress-free. It's always nice finding something that feels thoughtful and is appreciated by so many people. Of course, I couldn't leave without picking up a few treats for myself. I brought home the chocolate hazelnut and coconut ice cream flavors, and both were absolutely delicious. The chocolate hazelnut was rich and creamy, while the coconut had a refreshing flavor that was perfect for a warm day. I also purchased two breakfast pastries. One was a raspberry-flavored pastry that I really enjoyed. The other was supposed to be filled with vanilla, but the filling tasted different than I expected. It wasn't my favorite item, but with so many options available, that's bound to happen sometimes. The selection was impressive, everything looked fresh, and there was something for every sweet tooth. Whether you're stopping in for dessert, breakfast pastries, ice cream, or gifts for a special occasion, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I found Mazzotta's on Yelp and called 3 days before my Mom's 65th birthday in hopes for a spectacular cake. Not only did Maria call me back immediately after I left a message, she took the time to work with me and understand the vision I had for the cake because it was for someone so special. Despite the last minute call, she made the cake with so much love and attention, I was blown away. After one bite, my husband and I decided we were going to ask Maria to bake us a cake for our anniversary. Fast forward a couple more days, and I have placed an order for cupcakes for my upcoming baby shower!! Maria at Mazzotta's is phenomenal! Never ever did I expect the knowledge and understanding I got from Mazzottas. We needed a large order of Dairy Free, Gluten Free cupcakes for a wedding for those who could not eat the Traditional Wedding Cake! When I first reached out to her every question I asked get a "of course we do" answer. The building is gorgeous and the food is all so nicely displayed. While we did have a bit of a wait, the staff was fast and so friendly! The pastry chef personally came out to talk to us about what was safe for my son who has a milk allergy. That made my day! We got a variety of pastrys and they were all fresh and delicious! I had ordered a cake a week in advance for a special reunion of my unit in the army. This cake was supposed to be the great desert finish. The cake was to have our combat patch (edible) in the middle. The cake was to be picked up on 6 August 2022. Not only did I have to wait 15-20 minutes for it to be ready, but the special middle was paper. I was told no one took care of the middle piece and freeze it it was simply not done. I was told I could take pictures with this middle, and take off and smooth the whipped cream frosting over any imperfections it made. It was basically a take it or leave attitude. The cake itself was not great. I paid 100 dollars for a cake ordered in plenty of time (at least a week), that wasn't what I ordered and rudely told basically you get what you get. I will never ever order from this place again. I will make sure I tell everyone who will listen that this place is way overpriced and if this is their helps attitude and baking skills it sucks. If you treat combat veterans who recently retired this way, I feel real bad for all the honest hardworking people you serve. You should close your business read more

I would have given the bakery five stars but the service was EXTREMLY slow. I walked in at 10 am and there were 8 people ahead of me and I only saw one sales clerk. I walked out and returned at around 1:30. I took a number as the large sign indicated I should do and waited in line again with only four customers ahead of me. They had two women now and one was training a young girl. One sales lady was talking about her grandson, on and on...Holy moly, talk about slow and they weren't even using the numbered tickets. Others customers were coming and going in front questioning what number they were on now. There were approximately 15 customers in the bakery when I got waited on. NOTHING was priced or labeled?? Hopefully, they will things will get better because the pastry was delicious! I would only stop in again if I didn't see any cars out front. read more
