He works with integrity and wants to make sure the job is done right. His prices are very reasonable and fair. Overall I'd give them an A+++. Carlos and this team has done plumbing for us in the past. And because it's so hard to find trusted and reliable help these days, we reached out to them when we were in a bind and didin't know who to trust and call for additional remodel work. His guys helped us out with installing flooring, which they did an excellent job as well. I almost selfishly don't want to share this gem of a team with everyone but I want to support their business in growing :) They come highly recommended. And it was all so well orchestrated; Juan A. took great care of everything from start to finish. I still remember our first meeting...she was beautiful. She just sat there, selflessly inviting me to sit down, as she immediately provided the relief I so desperately needed. I emptied my soul that day. It was disgusting. Yet, there she was, hardly making a sound, taking it all in. She never complained. Not once. I knew I'd see her again...I had to. From that day, we began seeing one another quite often. In fact, I'd visit her at least 4 or 5 times a day just to let it all out. Looking back I guess I could have treated her better. I mean, think about it, there she was, providing comfort through some of my shittiest moments, and all I did was stand there and piss all over her. She sure did see the asshole in me. But I was blind, and failed to acknowledge all of the shit that she put up with. Until that night. . . There I was, taking my evening piss, when suddenly this bitch decided she no longer wanted to flush it down. She had had enough, and wasn't gonna take anymore of my shit. What could I do!!?? I tried everything! A plunger, nope! A wire hanger, nope! A snake, nope! I even tried my dick, with hopes of getting real deep, nothing! NOTHING WORKED! I began to cry, as she threatened to start pouring my own piss back onto my award-winning toes. Then I had a plan. . .CALL CARLOS!!! I've only lived in San Jose for four years, so I'm not completely accustomed to the city's ins and outs, however, it only took me a week before I was fully aware of Mr. Carlos Campos' reputation in (and out) of the plumbing community. This motherfucker carried around more street-cred than the entire Eastside combined. And that's exactly the kind of man I needed. This wasn't a job for some little bitch, I needed Carlos. Within seconds of placing the call, there was a knock on the door. A quick glance through the peephole left me looking into the eyes of a Mexican John Rambo. This motherfucker meant business. With fear of him opening my door with a rocket launcher, I quickly unlocked it and let him in. He walked in carrying tools and a game face, and immediately filled my house with a scent that can best be described as a combination of fornication, the jungles of Vietnam, war, a 13-inch switchblade and freedom. It smelled amazing. Before I could even point him into the direction of our restroom, he was digging deeper into my toilet than I ever could. As I watched, I felt a wave of emotions take over my entire body. I was nervous. I mean, I didn't want to lose her. But above everything else, I was envious. How can a complete stranger treat her like such a gentleman, meanwhile, I've been R. Kellying this bitch for the last four years? I was so confused. It didn't take long before my confusion was turned into happiness. Carlos saved her. He saved me. . .he saved us. Turns out, I wasn't to blame. It wasn't my piss, it wasn't my shit, it wasn't my selfishness. In fact, it was the green racquetball my 2-year-old daughter decided to flush down the toilet earlier that evening. Great job, Brookie! I learned a lot that day, and sometimes, I still think about Carlos. He brought us closer as a family, and taught us that life is a balance between giving and taking. I will never forget that night. . . I will never forget Carlos. Shit, piss and jokes aside, Carlos Campos was incredible. We called him on a random Tuesday night, around 9:45pm, with no real expectations of him being available. However, he proved us wrong. He arrived quickly, was incredibly friendly, and did amazing work. If that wasn't enough, he pretty much turned me into a sex predator, because the price he charged us was so ridiculously inexpensive, I damn near felt as if I just raped him. I couldn't recommend him enough, or give a higher praise! Next time you take a shit, think of Carlos, he just might save your life! read more

Water heater broke down & leaked all over the garage in middle of a cold spell and had to be replaced. Carlos was easy to reach and came by on same day to give me an assessment and by the next day, the heater was in place and running well. He was easy to work with, helpful, flexible and professional. Carlos is the BEST! I discovered in the evening that my sewer line backed up and had to call in (another) emergency plumbing service. They came and snaked the line but told me that I would need to have expensive repairs done, and the sewer could back up again any time, and new pipes could cost several thousand dollars so they could give me alternatives. Fortunately, a friend referred me to Carlos. He was not in my area but made the trip to Pleasant Hill! He was professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! As he put down the camera and showed me what the sewer pipes looked like, I felt immediately at ease. He did not scare me with worst case scenarios, instead he had a confident, positive attitude, and said he would do everything possible to clear the pipe. He went above and beyond by using different size snake heads to clear the pipes (the prior company did a rush job), and he put the down the camera multiple times as he worked and was happy to show me what was being done. The was literally complete transparency and I felt 100% confidence in what he was telling me and showing me. Additionally, after he was done with clearing the pipe, he pointed out that the portion of the drain above ground was to high, and he cut it down so that if in the future there is every a back up, the waste and water would come outside and not back up to my shower at is previously had. He was just completely thorough, and cared a lot about making sure that everything was right. Carlos gave me advise on how to maintain the pipe, and told me that I just needed to do maintenance, NO repairs were needed. Not only did I save a lot of money, I feel like I have a trusted and dependable resource which to me is everything! Thank you, Carlos! I'm truly appreciative and grateful! read more

I live in a condo unit and he helped me turn up my water heater temp and offered the most cost-effective solution to low water-pressure problem. A pipe under my bathroom sink got corroded and leaked. Called a plumber and he showed up the same day (great) and replaced the pipe. The problem it was still leaking, and I was told to replace a faucet. He came back to replace the faucet, but it still leaked. I was told to replace a sink. This all was going on for a week. Finally, he came to replace the sink and brought a wrong sink. I assumed he wanted to finish this job fast, so he was caulking around the rim to fit the sink in place. When I saw the sink, I was so disappointed in his unprofessional job that I screamed in frustration and fired him the next day. I called Carlos, who came the same day, assessed the situation and told me he was going to purchase and replace a sink the next day. He was professional, knowledgeable and a great communicator. The most impressive quality about Carlos that he is honest and keeps his word by constantly communicating with a customer. From now on, he is going to be my go to plumber for all future issues. All the people from MC seemed customer service oriented, but they game me the run around for almost week by giving information that was not consistent and inaccurate information across team members (person who answered the phone, guys who showed up to assess the situation, to the manager who was supposed to send the quote). They also cancelled on me twice and they never delivered on the quote when they said they would. Seemed like there was very poor communication between the team members. They also tried to convince me to purchase a $8k to $10k water heater without fulling understanding the local code requirements. read more

DO NOT ENGAGE MC Plumbing's service. THEY are LOUSY. THEY are NOT HONEST. Tenant reported clogs in bathroom. Carlos went to my rental and spent very short time to snake the pipes and claimed it was fixed on 10/16. On 10/21, tenant reported the bathtub was clogged again, and was in a worse condition. I called Carlos and told him the problem was not properly fixed. I asked him to return to take care of it. He agreed to return, but insisted that my pipes were old and requested to charge additional $500-$700 to replace some portions of the pipes. I decided to get a second opinion. The other plumber came on 10/22. He inspected the problems and found that the pipe that Carlos cleaned previously was still clogged. This plumber spent quite some time in running the snake back and forth to make sure the water flow smoothly. After that, he ran the water test for more than 20 minutes in the entire house to confirm that the problem was completely solved before he left. (While this plumber spent more time and efforts on cleaning the clogged tub, he did not charge more than what Carlos charged me in the first time.) I would like to put an alert to all future customers. Carlos and MC Plumbing are not trustworthy. They did not do a thorough and professional job. When asked to return, Carlos did not take responsibility, but only insisted to charge more money from the customer. Think twice before you call MC Plumbing and Carlos. read more

Our main kitchen sink was backed up and Rescue Rooter (missed our appt) and Benjamin Franklin (exhorbitant quote) were supposed to come fix our clog. I called MC Plumbing to assess possible damage to a gas shut-off valve in my laundry room. The person that I spoke to on the phone was very professional and courteous. Mario took the call and showed up right on time. He examined the shut-off valve and concluded the valve had not been damaged. I then asked Mario if he would mind looking at some other concerns I had regarding other gas lines, my water heater installation, the sewer drain line to the street, and my outside water shut-off valves. Mario examined all of these items and made some recommendations. I can definitely say that Mario is very knowledgeable about everything we looked at and is very professional. Carlos is not only knowledgeable and skilled at what he does, but he is a pleasure to work with, particularly due to his positive, "can-do" attitude. I appreciated his honest assessment of our storm drain issues, and his willingness to work hard to fix them. Just had this guy come by and rooter a lateral line. One of the most straight up guys I've ever done business with. Before calling him I called a plumber from the peninsula that I knew...didn't get a call back for 5 hours. Called MC Plumbing, he picked up right away, told him what was going on, he gave me a quote and a time that he'd be by...and he came through with both. Totally stoked to have met Carlos. He showed up, took a quick look at what was going on, grabbed his tools and blew it out literally in a matter of minutes. Double checked the drains to make sure they were flowing both at the clean out at the house and street side. Carlos wrote us an invoice on the spot with his iPad, emailed it over and got paid. His rate was totally fair, he could have charged double and we still would have been more than happy with his punctuality and professionalism. I'm a contractor and I deal with flakes and guys trying to upsell you on everything including simple service call. I've already given his cards out to two people and it's only been three hours since he's left. Can't say enough good stuff about MC Plumbing. Great guy, great service, if you have a back up or clog in a toilet/shower/sink... Do yourself a solid and give this guy a call.
