I eat here many times a month, and the food is always terrific, I love blue cheese, but I just had the buffalo blue cheese sandwich, and the blue cheese was a little overpowering. It's good blue cheese, but for that sandwich is just a little overpowering blue cheese on everything. read more

I love McAllister's food but I have to say I am extremely disappointed with catering delivery service! We have used this service previously with another location and it was outstanding-which is why we were happy when McAllister's came to Ashburn. I placed an order yesterday afternoon for Saturday lunch-not huge order -12ppl. The catering manager only did order by email and was extremely slow with responses. Then our order was to be delivered 12:30-I gave them some leeway but by 1:15 I called and was told they got really busy and order going out the door now--it finally arrived at 1:30. Maybe I assume too much -and probably shame on me -but no plates, napkins or utensils were not provided! Will not order catering from them again- it was NOT cheap and expected a lot more based ion cost and excellent experience from another McAllister's!!! read more

My supervisor took me here a couple of weeks ago--I loved it! She told me everything was good...I got the classic McAllister's club (or whatever it's called) and it was so yummy and filling! 10/10. read more

Food was honestly better than I expected. The steamed broccoli was salty af, so don't get it unless you love salt. The chicken tortilla soup was really tasty, came out super hot. Experiment dinner, and came away very impressed. It's a spacious restaurant with room for safe eating. We ordered a salad and the horseradish roast beef and it was on the table in just over 5 minutes. Salad was a large amount of mixed greens (easily two meals) and had lots of extra goodies mixed in. Sandwich was good sized, generous portion of roast beef and cheese, and the horseradish wasn't too spicy, so you could taste all the other stuff too. Had a side of potato salad, which was nicely seasoned (a little on the sweeter side, but still nice). Staff were friendly and efficient, and really on the ball. Total for the meal with drinks was about $20. Not as cheap as Subway, but the price difference is merited. read more

This brand new deli is a great addition to the Ashburn plaza! They have tons of sandwiches, soups, salads, and potatoes that you can choose from! Their orange crane berry sandwich is my favorite! they are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is amazing! read more

Good food. Better than Subway, Jersey mikes, and Panera. Reminds me of Jasons Deli, but without the free ice cream and much closer. Reasonably priced. I got the Mcalister's Club. I also tried the Mac and cheese which was surprisingly good. I will definitely be back! read more

Such great portions, options and reasonably priced. Did a to-go order and they left out a kids entree, but they were very apologetic about the incident and threw in a bag of chips and a cookie for having to drive back. Thankfully it was close by. Will be returning often. read more

This place is terrific and the service is as good as the food. Try the club sandwich (no membership required!). The tea is T riffic. The potato salad is full of joy. Normally I would rate this restaurant a three until what happened today. Blame Luis, the manager, for my now disdain for this place. The last four times ordering from here I have missed items upon getting home. As a businessman I twice let the managers know they have a problem. Today they were missing two items when I checked in my car. I asked for Luis to let him know. His response was, "Here. I give you an extra potato salad and you not come back". He has poor service and punishes me instead of his employees. Shocking. Done. read more

We have ordered from McAlister's Deli in Ashburn about 4 times and have enjoyed the food each and every time. This week we got a delivery of the McAlister Club sandwich for me and a giant baked potato for husband. He is still raving about that potato after 2 days! He had to eat half and save the rest for later as it was absolutely huge. Honestly, we will probably be back next week ordering something else because the food is a better quality than most places and we are all about the flavor! read more

Went here for the first time in Ashburn, although I think I had been to the Herndon location once. This is a good alternate to Panera. The "Choose 2" options are great and the food was good. I had a Reuben Sandwich and a Chicken Tortilla Soup. The soup was tasty and the corned beef on the sandwich was tender--not the kind that you take a bite and pull all the meat out of the sandwich! I ordered at the counter and they brought it to the table. It was a clean, pleasant place to have lunch, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. On the down side, they don't seem to have coffee, so no Coffee Club to take advantage of as I do at Panera. read more
