Not a cesser! Butt end of an iceberg!

Food is awful. Caesar salad is the butt end of a head of lettuce. Stale stale stale. Man, this is the crap end of awful. Turkey sandwich is lump of meat. I am scared to eat! OMG omg! Never come across such garbage! Manager totally hung up on me! He offered a remake, but I just wanted to bring the issue to attention.

McAlister's is always an enjoyable environment with pretty good food. I haven't been to another one of these restaurants, but have never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the service is always good. The picture shown is a broccoli cheddar bread bowl, but I personally love The New Yorker, which is a plethora of beef and pastrami on a sandwich.

Pecanberry Salad with strawberry lemonade that was phenomenal. Across from me is the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap with amazing potato salad.

This place is normally really good, over the years I saw management go downhill and plumbing in restrooms has always been an issue with water leaks in various places of restaurant. Since new renovations I have returned, and food has been gradually getting better with time. Usually order the Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap that is hit or miss on if they will give you any dressing. Sometimes it has had barely any on it and if you try to ask for extra they charged you. This time however my mother got it and it was super good! They got it right the first time. I actually got their summer menu choice of a Pecanberry salad topped with grilled chicken, strawberries, pecans, blueberries, and a really good either raspberry or strawberry dressing. Overall this experience was really good. P.S. The have the best potato salad!

We were in town for a family function and had another great experience at the toasted yolk café…read more When we pulled up, the parking lot was incredibly busy so we thought we were gonna have to wait for a bit as it turned out we didn't! We were seated right away, but almost every table in the place was packed. Our server greeted us pretty quickly and got our beverage order started. My husband stuck with coffee and I got one of the energizer beverages the morning sunrise that includes elderflower tonic, orange juice, and period strawberry. It was delicious. I chose to order the breakfast burrito with fruit as my side. The fruit was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. There were a lot of grapes and it would've been nice to have some more of the melon but overall it was delicious. Breakfast burrito was nice and tasty. I would've liked a little bit more meat in it but again it was still delicious. My husband crafted his own breakfast and got bacon with some eggs and the French toast. He said everything was delicious.

ANYONE giving above a 1-Star rating is either related to the owners or flat out lying…read more I have NEVER put anything more disgusting in my mouth than the "food" this nasty place served my wife and I. I had scrambled eggs. How can you POSSIBLY screw up plain old scrambled eggs? Well, TTY found a way. First, definitely, without a doubt, they were powdered eggs. 100%. You all know how powdered eggs look. Grainy, all yellow without a hint of any white. Then they mixed something into those powdered eggs that would gag a maggot. I thought maybe I was having a stroke and losing my flavor buds so the wife tried them and actually spit them out onto a napkin. Eggstraordinarily DISGUSTING! Biscuit. Just a friggin' biscuit. How can someone in the South F up a friggin biscuit?! Flour, baking powder, salt, butter/lard, buttermilk, a monkey with a traumatic brain injury could accidently create a better biscuit than this joke of a place. THE best part of the biscuit was the single-serve size of Smucker's jelly packet I tried to kill the fart flavor of this "biscuit" with. I wish my Grandmother was alive so she could go this place and slap the "cook" for desecration of a Southern Biscuit. That pile of "bottom of a septic tank" breakfast cost me $10.69. The wife's breakfast - The Classic Arnold! Known to everyone else as Eggs Benedict. At least SHE got a real egg! Which TTY proceeded to turn into a toxic waste site by adding their bearnaise sauce. It ain't bearnaise sauce it is 100% plain old every day CHEESE sauce and they searched the entire cosmos for the most disgusting flavored cheese they could possibly find. Anyone remember the book Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? Well, TTY found the "green lump of putty (he) found in his armpit one day". And they put it on top of my wife's egg! Just as I was willing to forgive TTY for the biscuit insult they followed it up with insulting grits. GARBAGE! Look, if you can't cook biscuits and grits then stop calling yourself a breakfast place ESPECIALLY in the South. The wife's portion of the bill was $16.79. Neither of us ate all of our breakfast and we both left well over 80% of it on the plate. That should have been a clue to someone..... Now for the good stuff about The Toasted Yolk Dothan - There ya go. If you voluntarily go to this place instead of being force-fed this garbage by rampaging teenagers with sticks and rocks then that's YOUR fault. And you too can spend over $30 to not eat anything and go down the road to the nearest dumpster surrounded by port-a-toddies and upgrade to better food and drink. You've been warned.
