Food is okay at best. Twice now when ordering delivery they forgot one of our meals. The first time we just dealt with it and had our children share. This time we called back and our options were either get a refund and have our kids be disappointed again our drive all the way across town and pick it up. It's ridiculous that we paid for a delivery both times to not get a full delivery. If allowing delivery is too difficult for your restaurant to handle then don't offer it. read more

Food quality is always good, but tonight half my online order delivered by Door Dash was left off. The options offered by the manager was to come after what THEY forgot or a credit on that portion. So, I took the credit for the forgotten half. Sounds like good will maintenance needs to be included in manager training, i.e. full order credit/pay Door Dash to redeliver. McAlister's is my favorite go to place for salads, sandwiches, tea, and lemonades. There isn't a single item here I don't enjoy. I went through a phase after I had a baby that my husband and I ate here daily for two weeks because who wants to cook when you have a newborn... just saying. I absolutely love their pecanberry salad. I get it almost every time. The thought of getting another salad besides it is betrayal to such a delicious and handsome choice. The McAlister's club is my favorite sandwich. I know what you're thinking, how generic but I mean it! Their honey mustard dressing is what makes the sandwich so mouth watering! In addition I get their potato salad because it's just delish. So don't judge me out loud, but I really order all of this each time I come. I don't even skimp and do the pick two. I get the full size in salad and sandwich and a potato salad.... and I eat it all. Every single last delicious bite. As if that isn't enough I add on a strawberry lemonade. Maybe it's because I just had a baby and I'm breastfeeding that my appetite is this way. Or maybe it's because McAlister's is delicious! Check out their app for their rewards program! I have ordered from McAlister's twice via GrubHub recently. Half of my $70 orders have been missing BOTH times. All I get from the store is 'Sorry, you can come pick it up.' I order via GH because it's for my kids and I DON'T want to get out. I understand a mistake once, but twice within 2 weeks on a larger order? Quality has also suffered - the Reuben we got today was on regular bread, sauerkraut missing, and cold, as if it was made hours ago as the meat was dry on edges. Food is never fresh, I had a bad experience the last time and decided to try it again. The soup I ordered(French onion displayed on a huge sign) they said they don't have and never will have it. So I got broccoli cheddar and it was cold. The meat on my spud max tasted old, and the bread on my French dip was crusty. Curbside pickup is a joke. I had to call SIX times before the phone was even answered. Once someone answered, I was told I should come inside to pick up my food because that would probably be easier and faster. I said i wanted curbside, and i would wait. The whole point of me selecting curbside pickup is to reduce chance of exposure to covid. I waited another 16 minutes after I was told my food would be brought out to me, and I decided to call again. After calling a SEVENTH time, my food was brought out immediately. 45 minutes after my promised pick up time, I finally have my food, and it's cold. Jordan, the GM was extremely rude and racist to my Hispanic husband. I placed a pick up order through Uber eats for my husband to go get us lunch on Sunday, June 4th at 12:30 for pickup time. The place was decently busy, and the girl up front told my husband she'd be right with him which was absolutely understandable. Then Jordan came over in a very rude tone and asked my husband if he'd been helped yet. My husband told him no, and what the order was. Jordan had an attitude when he got the order. He didn't even hand it to my husband, he plopped it down on the counter. and then he asked for mayo packets and Jordan was once again rude. Jordan stared at him and ina. Monotone voice goes "yeah" and then my husband asked him for a few. Jordan then walks off and comes back and hands them to him. My husband thanked him and he just walked away with An attitude. When my husband came home he was a bit confused and upset because Jordan was friendly to the white people who were dressed nice. But he shows up with tan skin and basketball shorts on because we're Sunday cleaning, and gets treated differently?! So I call the store and Jordan answers. I ask if he's the GM, he replies yes. Because my husband had seen he was dressed differently than the other workers. I asked him if it was a franchise or corporate. He told me franchise. I asked for the number. He asked why I needed it, and I explained he was rude and seemed to have a racial problem with my husband given that he was nice to the white people there. Jordan kept telling me he never handed out an order today so far, and then asked for my order information which I provided via the Uber eats pickup information on my phone and told him when my husband picked it up. He kept telling me he didn't hand out orders in a VERY rude tone so I told him he had an attitude now on the phone with me further proving my point. He says "well yeah, but I don't remember that order." So you can have an attitude with customers because you don't remember? He finally gives me the franchise owners number and I will be contacting her Monday as he says I can't reach her on weekends which is fine. We usually come to this location after Sunday service at life church for lunch with our son. But this isn't the first racial bias issues we've had with McAllisters so this will be it for us. My husband is a corporate manager, not a piece of scum. This was ridiculous. Just because he's Latino and didn't dress up to get our food? We will be telling everyone about this bias today and Jordan's attitude. I won't give my money to a racist establishment, or one that hires and allows racist behaviors from employees. Never again. They are very family oriented they have a kids meal that's .99 cents and it comes with a side. There menu is priced and the cheap side and freshness is not lost with the price. I have been going to this McAlisters for the past 7 years. Went in today for some soup as it was kind of chilli outside. It was very busy during the lunch hours. One Thing I did notice is that people lined up in one long line instead of three separate lines in front of each register. This made the line extend almost out the front door. This might be more of a sociological issue rather than McAllister's problem, but a little direction would probably help. The soup was good, warm, and came out quickly. The sweet tea was excellent. I was offered refills multiple times - which I appreciated. Overall the service was pretty good. I will continue to go to McAllister's as they have a great selection to choose from. read more

This place is near a college campus and moderate to very popular, but I don't really see why. Yes, their sweet tea is pretty good and the serving size is okay but there really isn't anything special about the food or the service. The sandwiches are average, the soups are average, the pizza is average. The parking lot is majorly too small. It's way hard to get a spot during lunch. They've got all these people around the register and kitchen and I really don't think it's necessary. I honestly would rather wait for my food up by the register instead of popping a number on my table and waiting for someone to come plop a dish with my sandwich on it and walk off. There are not many items on the menu at McAlisters that I do not enjoy, the only ones being their potatoes, because I'm just not a potato guy. I got the Savannah chopped, which like all their food, is super delicious. This salad is actually really healthy too, which is always a plus. I also love the fact that give you huge water cups unlike other places where you end up getting a million refills with they tiny stingy water cups. The best part for me is the cheap kids meals for $1 each. I can take my family of five out and not break the bank!!! The only reason I gave this location 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could have been cleaner. Overall, this is a great McAlisters location. read more

Well, this is a good substitute for Panera. Also, I love that the staff comes and brings your food to you. The wait was rather long being near holidays. Similar choice with pick 2 (sandwich/salad/baked potato/soup) at Panera. I had the roast beef sandwich and soup which was good. My girlfriend had the ice tea and it was okay. Update June 17, 2012 Ate here again for lunch. One major issue I have with this particular location is that the staff is VERY slow to clean up around the restaurant. We sat outside because the a/c inside was turning the interior into the arctic zone. Outside there were napkins blowing around and other trash in the bushes that hadn't been picked up. Same with the tables inside. They bring the food to you and instead of taking a few moments picking stuff up, they just walk on by and ignore it. SO BIG THUMBS DOWN ON THAT. Maybe they just feel they only need to clean at closing time. And don't eat outside now when it is warm. The flies are terrible. You will spend more time waving your hand than actually eating. ----------------------- Popular place for a quick bite to eat. Have only been there twice. Usually very busy at lunchtime. Has outdoor seating as well. Last time I had the french dip sandwich and it was very good. Good quality of beef. Served with a bowl of dipping au jus. I would order it again. So for a cheap date, or a quick bite to eat before or after a movie etc, it's a good place to go. Plenty of choices on the menu. read more

Overall consistently good food. In dozens of trips have only been disappointed once, when the food came out a bit cool. Usually, I have sweet tea, which they make very well, probably the best in the Oklahoma area. Not as good as they make it in the Carolina's but then nothing is. I have eaten at this restaurant a few times now. They have some vegetarian options which is nice. Tonight my friend and I ordered The Veggie (sandwich) and the Veggie spud. We split each to be able to try them both. The sandwich was good. The bread was soft and fresh. The only thing I didn't enjoy about it is the red Onions. It seems they pickle them in red wine vinegar. They were overwhelmingly tangy and kind of put a damper on the taste of the sandwich. They took over the whole sandwich and really didn't allow me to taste anything except red wine vinegar with every bite. I will say all the veggies were fresh and crispy. The spud was good too. It was hot and delicious and baked perfectly. The veggies were good. The only thing I'd change again would have been the red onion. The chunks that were on the spud were HUGE. I love red onion but these chunks were so big that every bite I took made my nose run and my eyes water. If they'd have been more of a minced size as opposed to a chopped size it would have been fantastic. The outdoor seating was nice but they couldn't definitely do a lot more with the decor and cleanliness outside. The inside has always been clean and the customer service is normally a 7/10. Out of all the vegetarian sandwiches I've had this one ranked bottom of the list (mainly because of the red onions). Overall I'd probably eat here again, but only out of convenience of location and not because their sandwiches are better than other places. read more

I went during the lunch rush today and not only that but it was also free tea day! So, of course, it was VERY busy. However, the building was very well staffed so I was able to get through line and get my food very quickly. Nothing about my order was wrong and the food was delicious. Staff stopped by my table and others frequently to make sure everyone's drinks were full and tables were clean. Nothing was out of stock as far as napkins, straws, and condiments go. After my meal I was in line to get a refill and an employee took my cup for me and refilled my drink before I even had to wait in the line very long.
