    Red beans and rice

It was my first time visiting McAlister's in person since I've always had it at corporate event or at office meeting, but this is my first time at an actual restaurant. Overall, it's a great place to grab a quick meal plenty of different sandwiches to choose from hot and cold and it reminds me of a more elevated Schlotzsky's. Love how I order the wrap and it came with the side of a pickle spear. It would've been nice to have a side of hot sauce too, but hey, that's Schlotzsky's deal not McAlister's. I really fell in love with the club wrap. I wanted everyone to see when I cut it in half the cross section. You could really see the layers of deli meats along with the cheese, the fresh tomatoes and lettuce, and I decided to substitute regular mayo for the mayo basil free of charge. I really like the exterior texture of the wrap. It's a firm type of feel soft so when you chew into it as a soft chewy texture and then you bite into the cold dense meat and I want you get to chew it you could then taste the cream with us of the cheese along with the freshness of the vegetables great wrap but on the other end, the red beans and rice is a total letdown. It tasted like a side of pinto beans missing really what makes it red beans and rice, and it had little to zero rice. Mine as well call it salty pinto beans. Plus, it's ultra salty. I recommend anyone to come visit. My total meal was under 18 bucks so it is pricey to come here but definitely worth the try the club wrap and avoid the red beans and rice.

Walked in, greeted by friendly staff. Spacious dining lobby. In, just for a quick bite. I tried the Memphian while the Bean tackled the black angus. The Black Angus, I think, was the better selection. Delicious roast beef. The Memphian consisted of turkey, ham, and bacon with melted cheese. It was savory and tasty.

So this is we my first time trying this place and definitely won't be my last. The service was great! We had a group of 30 people and they accommodated us so well. No one had an incorrect order and was served in a good amount of time. Anyone that reads my reviews, then knows that I like to try it all! I chose the Choose 2 and picked a Turkey sandwich and baked potato. This was super fresh and flavorful. My baked potato was piping hot! Then, I tried the country potato soup. Delicious!! I was eyeing on the Mac and cheese and noted for myself to try this in the future. Also, 10/10 would recommend the lemonade. It was fresh! Overall, we the food was great, but the service was even greater! I can't wait to come back and try more items off their menu!

They have excellent unsweet tea. Extra lemon please! $1... Can't beat it. Oh wait, maybe a drive thru? Yes, that would make it perfect!

I nearly always get the Orange Cranberry Club and am never disappointed. The unsweetened tea is great plus the size is huge and refillable.

I went in today for my 1st time after reading about their mission and I was not expecting the level of serene and friendly service I received. I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! What truly made the experience stand out was the people and the purpose. The wonderful woman who took my order was learning the POS system and is a participant in their training program. I had to wipe our table off and there were used paper towels and chips on the floor at the table we sat at. Some of the other tables weren't as clean as the one I chose. Also when we were trying to get our drinks I'm assuming the 3 employees were either trying to fix the drink container or clean it...however, no one informed of if it was out of order, being cleaned or just speak and tell us it would be a minute. They just kept doing what they were doing and occasionally looked up at us. I typically get my food to go at this location and I honestly think that is what I will result to.

I had a difficult time stopping the bleeding and had bloody napkins piled high on my tray I told the young kid "Manager on Duty" and showed him the glass shard and told him to save it to show her boss. She said it was dusgusting and threw the piece of glass in trash. I also told her to file an incident report and I needed to get to ER to stop the bleeding. She gave me her General Manager's cell number and I left a message. ER docs glued my lip together and documented broken tooth referring me to my dentist. I received a call later that day from the General Manager "Fernando" who yelled at me for calling him on his cell phone. I proceeded to explain to him the incident involving glass in my tuna sandwich. He submitted his report to Legal "Cody" and they refused to reimburse me the $1,100 to repair my broken tooth because their employee threw the glass shard in trash. I had photos of the glass shard, cut lip and broken tooth and Panera still would not reimburse me for the injury caused by their company. I did ask for any more compensation than for reimbursement to repair my broken tooth. At the time, I was working through a serious head injury and needed to work on healing. Their solution was to take the tuna off the menu and to pretend the incident did not happen. In other words, stick their heads in the sand and hope that I woukd forget incident. I am not and will not remove post until reimbursed $1,100 asap for broken tooth. Besides their restaurant is filthy , smells dirty and violates health standards.

Popped in on a whim after shopping at Old Navy a few doors down. VIBE: Very pleasant seafood restaurant vibe. I didn't feel like I was inside a massive shopping center -- it had a nice seaside charm. KIDS: At first, it didn't seem like a particularly kid-friendly spot (I didn't actually see any other kids there during brunch on a Sunday). However, we felt very welcome with our two toddlers (3.5 and 1.5). They have high chairs and a kids menu (a mix of fried seafood and usual stuff like hamburger).
