I have been going to this McAlister's since I was in kindergarten at CCS across the street. We are there every single day until I graduated and I come back every time I Home for college. I just spent an hour and a half in their parking lot waiting on curbside. I understand there is a pandemic going on, but on a Saturday night why would you have two people working? Not only did I spend an hour and a half waiting but it took an hour and a half for them to come outside and say "oh we don't have spuds, we tried to call." I pulled up my call log immediately and said "actually you didn't." So they made us wait an hour and a half to tell us oh we can't even cook your food and had to audacity to ask IF we wanted a refund. I have NEVER been so seething mad at a restaurant. I am absolutely disappointed with their behavior. They knew exactly which order and which car was ours because they came out and asked 20 minutes into us being there. I can not believe after AN HOUR AND A HALF we are leaving empty handed because they cant bother to walk 5 feet to our car and let us know what's going on AND LIE TO MY FACE that they "tried" calling us multiple times. I have always been loyal to mcalisters and the biggest supporter and fan. We have spent countless amounts of money at every mcalisters (this one in particular) but not after tonight. I don't take nicely to 1. My time being wasted 2. Being lied to my face 3. Leaving with no food. 4. Being rude when it Y'ALL'S mistake and we were nothing but nice. I would not have even left a review if it took an hour and a half and I left with food. But I am absolutely seething. I 0/10 recommend this McAlisters. read more

This is absolutely the worst McAllister's we've ever been to. Terrible service, our orders were wrong multiple times, the staff was rude and the food was really bad. My college soccer team travels and eats at McAllister's nearly every travel trip in various cities, and we have always liked it. This was just bad all the way around. read more

I went in to get a small salad on April 15.. I noticed a couple days later that I was charged for my salad plus a charge of $11.38. I called and spoke with a Shawn.. he assured me he would check it out and call me back within 3 days. No phone call.i called back and spoke with Marcus telling my story again...He apologized and said he would send me a VIP card...This wS onApril 29. On May 7 I went into the restaurant located at Shelby and 31 Indpls In to talk to Marcus..I had to talk to him while he was running food to customers.. Finally after waiting 20 minutes he brought me a VIP card for a meal he informed me he had put a card in an envelope but was out of stamps.. He was not sure if it went out or not..Well it never went out and he didn't care. So I was charged Extra $11.38 on April 15 and made 2 phone calls and another trip into the restaurant to try and get it taken care of. I will not be back in your restaurants and hope this does not happen to anyone else...Marcus should not be in his position, he does not know how to take care of customers... Excuse my language, but this is the worst experience I've had at ANY McAlister's. While y'all up there cussing each other out nshit, y'all need to be more focused on these orders y'all fucking up. How was literally everything wrong with my food when I specifically asked for certain things to not be on my sandwich. I would greatly appreciate the selling of fish sandwiches and french fries at your stores. It would be great if they were sold by cooking them with an air fryer versus a grease fryer for they would be healthier for the customers and I am sure they just might taste better. I would greatly appreciate receiving your comments back on the above suggestion/comment. Over all your food is tasty and mainly healthy, but the addition of the two mentioned items would more than likely generate increased revenue for each of the stores where they are sold. Thanks. To whom it may concern, (This is in reference to the Auburn, AL location) I called this morning at 8:05 am and asked if I could place an order for 14 box lunch needed today at 11:30 (if I had to pick up) and at 12 noon (if it could be delivered). The responses I received was actually shocking. The person who answered the phone told me "I don't know I'll let you speak the catering, I think they already have a lot o catering orders" then I was transferred. When the 'I assume"catering manager picked up, I could hear the frustration in their voice. I repeated the him what I had told the first person. They said in a unfriendly voice, Now what do you need, I told them and they said well you will have to pick it up, I already have several orders for today and they would see. With that I told them to just forget it. We here at AUFSI order quite often from McAlister's. My reason for leaving this attached order on here is when I ordered this back in August not only was the order strewed up it was delivered to the wrong location and when it finally got to the right location it was more than 30 minutes late (note the large tip paid in advance for a lousy order). After this I placed a delivery order and it was forgotten all together. Both times the Catering manager was very apologetic and we decided to go back with you. Because inspite of the mess ups the food is decent and normally the personalities of the employees are good. But this morning added another strike. So I wanted to let you know "AUFSI will take McAllister's off their list for catering". Went to McAlister's on Bryant Blvd San Angelo TX.. Manager is rude had two orders. One was simple soup to go other was for dine in. Proceeded to tell me they are about close and walked off in a huff. Waited over 30 minutes to get order. Poor girl who was working her butt off while manager stood around doing little or nothing. Totally dissatisfied with the service and managers attitude. Saturday August 1st there was a recall of RED ONIONS (salmonella) I ate at Mcalester today SUNDAY AUGUST 2nd & ordered a salad . I ate a bit of it then noticed it had LOTS OF CHOPPED RED ONIONS ugh . This is the worst McAllister's Deli I have ever visited. Sometimes they don't even answer the phone for to go orders. The last few times I went the bread on my sandwich was hard as a rock. No, not toasted, just stale bread. The service is terrible. I can remember when you couldn't find a parking spot at this location. No you'd be hard pressed to find a car that isn't an employees. When you give bad service and inconsistent food, this is what happens. Customers only put up with so much. I'll never step foot back in this location. It doesn't take a genius to make a sandwich correctly. And the laziness in the kitchen shows in the sandwiches. Mayo just poured on, where it falls all over your shirt when you take a bite. I ordered on line potatoes for 30 people. The website was not clear that one potatoe is actually two potatoes so I ended up with 60 potatoes delivered for a family gathering prior to the wedding. This was the request of the bride to be. I realized this when it was delivered. We called McAlisters in Wilmington NC and they offered no help and would not allow the delivery girl to take half of these unopened potatoes back. Terrible customer service!! Not to mention I paid for twice as many as I needed due to the unclear website menu. In addition to that, the potatoes were so dry that they were inedible, as though they had been overlooked and dried out. Tried calling 4 times on the way here to place a to go order. A hundred rings and no answer. Walk in to place my to go order and the girl at the take out counter ignored me while she took 3 different calls for to go orders. Now sitting here listening to phone ringing and everybody ignoring it; even cashiers with nobody at their register to place an order. That's lots of lost orders for 12:30 on a weekday. read more

My name is Nick Cossentino and I live in Hendersonville, TN. McAlister's opened a restaurant in Hendersonville recently and after 4 orders placed with your Hendersonville store every order was so screwed up I decided to NEVER go to another McAlister's ever again no matter what state I am traveling in. I travel all week long and mostly in the South where I have never had issues like this facility. I received an e-mail from Todd McMasters and he did not even offer as much as an apology for his business screw ups. He also said "McAlister's was committed to providing a high level of service for their customers". What a bunch of BULL that was. This just showed me that McAlister's Deli does not care about me as a customer, and could care less about making things right. I do not like the new menu changes. What kind of deli doesn't have pickles for sandwiches? I loved the ham and cheese toasty but they took it off the menu. The replacement is just a cold sandwich that I can make at home. So I will. I tried to ask them to toast it and they cannot figure it out. I've seen some of the other things coming out of the kitchen and I'm surprised people would pay for it because it looks so bland. Subway is better. And I hate Subway. Bye bye McAlisters. I have ordered from their Gulfport & Biloxi locations for 3 yrs, since I moved here from California. I moved to Ocean Springs 2 months ago ordered from them a month ago & paid extra for Waitr to deliver & MY FOOD WAS WRONG. Manager said she'd make it up? I waited a month to try again. We have always loved McAlister's Deli in Corinth, Ms. In the past few months the management has just about ruined it for us, though. Each and every time I go now they are out of something I order I have also ordered reubens that have no thousand island dressing on them. I have gotten hot sandwiches that are cold and cheese not melted. The potato salad seemed warm and not fresh. A friend of mine ordered a salad and they were out of lettuce. Please save our store. I visited the Longview location & the manager was extremely rude & racist. The food quality was poor & when I asked for a refund the manager became rude, sarcastic, & raised his voice but refused to give me his name or the corporate number. I would not recommend this McAlisters to anyone, especially people of color. While I was talking to this racist manager a white customer came up and complained that his food smelled spoiled & the interaction was totally different. Surprisingly it came right after he sat down but our hot sandwiches were cold. We were not the only patrons that had waited 30 minutes for our food. I went to your Macomb, Il. business today and ordered the Max Spud. When I got it and started eating, the potato was burnt, hard on the bottom, cold and tasted awful. When the young lady came to our table I told her about it and she didn't say one word. I was not offered a new one, my money back or anything for that matter. I would have thought she would have said something to the manager, but NO ONE did anything about this terrible meal. I have sent pictures of this potato to all my friends and just for your information I have my sanitation certification for the state of Illinois. If I were a food inspector your business would be on notice. I am not happy with this experience and probably will not return to your business. I bought a king club.I had no idea how tall the sandwich was. I struggled with half then asked the waitress to add a half a slice of bread to the other half and make it two sandwiches to go. The cook put something GRITTY IN THE SANDWICHES, Like dirt. It took him 10 minutes to add a half a slice of bread. This is the Camp Bowie store in Ft. Worth, Texas. I've had satisfactory service at Mc Alister's before, but I won't be back. You only get to screw me once this was Friday July 6 at 830 pm. My family dine at Mcalisters located in Richmond indiana. We do this approximately 2 times per week the food is great but we have 1 certain server that always waits on us and she has the upmost respect for customer satifaction,she is always very professional and friendly.Our small children always request to dine there simply because they hope to see our favorite server. The food was great...when it finally got to us. The line was out the door, there were only two people working both counters in the lunch rush, and they moved as slow as possible. The servers were very lackluster. They brought our order out ten minutes apart and my friends grilled Chicken Salad had no chicken. We sent it back twice before they put the chicken on there.
