Love coming here for quick, hearty, and healthy lunches. Everything I have tried here has been delicious from their baked potatoes to sandwiches and soups. They have a pick 2 deal (similar to Panera's) which I always order rotating between the Veggie Chili, Savannah Chopped Salad, and McAllister's Club. The restaurant gets pretty busy but I've never had a problem with waiting too long or finding a table. Be sure to check out their ginormous cookies at the check out counter! read more

First time at this franchise and it's nice to know it doesn't have that franchise demise... it has pretty darn good food. I ordered the spuds and wow it was pretty delish. Place is not as good as it use to be I use to love coming here and getting potatoes or a sandwich but the place has changed a lot when we went there recently we ordered to go and they gave us these tiny little plastic cups instead of the normal sized cups we usually get when we come here we also saw staff eating some of the Mac and cheese in the back and were worried about the quality of it I don't know if management or something has changed here but it was not the same experience I remember read more

I love this place, wish there was a location in Houston other than their UH site. I went and got a Spud Max...fully loaded, delicious... I haven't been in a while because I moved from College Station and used to go there often and I had a free tea punch card. The server Zoe was AWESOME, she told me unfortunately that they did away with the free tea punch card but would have me sign up for the new app on the iPhone which has a reward program and she gave me my tea free so I didn't waste my previous punches. I've always had great experience at McAllister's throughout the country, but this particular one lacks in service. It took me quite a while to receive a slice of carrot cake once I order. The place was not crowded and I had to literally ask the young last who took my take out order to please get me my carrot cake now, it's been too long. read more

Not the best McAlister's I've been to. The sandwich wasn't bad but the Mac-n-cheese were cold. My boyfriend took them to the counter for new ones and gave us another bowl and they were still cold. The noodles also seemed a little hard and uncooked. I've definitely had better McAlisters trips. read more

I mostly go to this location because it's close to my job. I order the sweet chipotle chicken with mac and cheese and their strawberry lemonade (it's the best!). My only issue is the staff. If you go during lunch, there's usually a manager that the staff seem to straight up for. Everything runs smoothly during lunch if that particular manager is there. Dinner time is a different story however. They aren't busy around this time, but the staff always moves slow and are particularly rude. If you do eat at this location, make sure you go for lunch and not for dinner to save yourself the snark from the staff. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! While waiting in line the manager offered to get our drinks, the food came out quick (yummy as always) and we were checked on by at least 3 people. After our meal, our car wouldn't start and the manager saw us struggling so he offered to give us a jump! He got his car and went asking for cables and made sure our car started! This is a really nice place for lunch or dinner. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, salads, and loaded spuds. If you don't see something that you like, you can create your own sandwich. Trust me this won't happen! The muffaletta and the "Big Nasty" are both teriffic. And the sweet tea is as good as they say it is--- SWEEEET! Came tonight and ordered to go. Originally wanted to try the baked potato but they just ran out so substituted 1/2 McAlister club to go with the Savannah salad. My daughter ordered grilled chicken salad and country potato soup. It's been over 5 years since I came and now realize why I never come here. First want to state that the cashier, Sonia was very nice. Now back to the actual food. The Savannah salad has blue cheese which I hate. Ok I admit my mistake in not reading all the ingredients carefully. 85% of the lettuce was black, bruised and/or brown. I picked through and tossed these which left me with about one handful of lettuce. There was about 3-4 very small and thin pieces of chicken slices in the salad but fortunately I had some roasted chicken in my fridge and good white cheddar cheese. The sherry shallot vinaigrette was gross but again, fortunately, I had a good lemon dressing. My "half" McAlister club with jalapeños is a joke. The side that's supposed to have bacon had mostly jalapeños with 1/8 piece bacon -- really? You guys couldn't put at least 1/2 a slice of bacon?!? See picture. There is enough turkey and but only a thin layer of ham. A real club sandwich should have more bacon and again the lettuce should not have black marks. read more

Always great service! Go early though to avoid the crowd. Club salad, Harvest Chicken Salad, McAlister's Club, kids grilled cheese and macaroni and cheese were all delicious! Love the large drinks. I always get the fresh brewed tea. Cookies are yummy! read more

I love McAllister's which is why I hate writing this, but lately whenever I order one of their Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salads the lettuce is inedible. It's partially brown and some of it is dark green and slimey. I don't understand why they use this lettuce because it is obviously not good. I get take out so the last thing I want to do is drive all the way back over there to point out their disgusting lettuce. Luckily I had some lettuce at home I could use. So basically I just threw away half the money I paid for the salad. Not cool McAllister's. read more

This place deserves ZERO stars, but since I had no choice than to give them one star to post a review I guess ill give them one. I went in to McAlisters for the first time during a quick lunch break for a soup. I specifically told Janny who took my order, NO BACON in my soup for religion purposes. I get my order, and get back to work and my soup is loaded with bacon. I called and spoke to the manager Lupe and explained to her what happened. She did say she was sorry, but when I asked if someone could deliver my soup since I wasted my lunch break picking up my incorrect order, her response was "my driver is too busy to bring it to you". I then asked to speak to speak to another manager and she transferred me to Alan the GM, who was extremely nice and understanding. He apologized for the inconvenience and had someone deliver my soup to my job since I was already back at work. When the girl gets here with my delivery, she asks me to give her back the original cup of soup that I PAID FOR.. I go to eat my new soup and IT HAD BACON IN IT. This had to be some kind of joke. I called back and spoke to Alan and informed him that the soup had bacon again and this time I didn't even want anything. Dealing with this place was the worst experience ever. read more
