Almost a month later, and a week without my vehicle, I am in worst shape than ever!! I will never buy another vehicle here nor would I recommend them to anyone! Sales staff is inexperienced. Put 180 miles on car test driving and left gas tank on empty, all 4 tires were low, and didn't fix problem took in for the third time.

I came in for my 1st oil change after purchasing the 2012 Sonic LT at your dealership in April 2017. There has been a constant pinging sound and muffler sound noticeable immediately after purchase. Granted I should not have bought the car in this condition and I should have brought it back immediately to have it checked out but living in Indiana and it not being severe, I thought I could wait until the 1st oil change. WRONG!! Found out the alternator bushing needs replacing and there is a crack in the muffler 'cross-over'(?) and they were going to charge me $400+ for the alternator and $300+ for the muffler! I was furious! with the dealership for selling me a lemon and myself for allowing it in the 1st place and then thinking it could wait. You will never see me there again. I'm having the repairs done at a lower cost than was quoted by McClusky's. I will seek another GM dealer for further maintenance to maintain the warrenty. You have proven to me that buying a car is far worse than having a colonoscopy! read more

I bought a car from Mcluskey on the 28th of October, since then within 24 hours of buying it my car stopped working and wouldn't drive, after that they came and got it and stated they would handle it. brought back to me 3 days later with the check engine light on but it drove, by that weekend it was revving and not working at all so they once again had to get it. I didn't get my car back for another week, A week and a half later my car is having once again the same issues, now Im getting no response from the dealership, the service center, and I have a car that I bought less then a month ago with issues that is preventing me from driving it read more

There were aspects that were impressive - the facility, reasonable time to complete work. There were aspects that were frustrating - key ordered not available at time of pick up, tape on window that was there to hold window up not removed after repair or no offer of the additional service to remove tape given. In no way did the dealership go above and beyond to encourage me to return there for either additional repair much less purchase. Overall lukewarm experience. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. The sales person was made fully aware of my situation before I ever even step foot into the facility. I made it very clear to them that I could afford a very certain amount per month, and all the other details. When I walked in there, after being told that everything was all set up, he shows me something that is completely out of my price range, and effectively waste both of our time for the next 45 minutes while he tries to sell me on why I need to spend more money than I can afford. Terrible sales tactics, they expected me to be desperate, and kept trying to explain to me why they needed more money, rather than just admitting from the get-go that they couldn't make happen what I asked them to make happen. Again, the biggest disappointment here was being ignored, not listen to, and then insulted and embarrassed when I had to walk away from the deal because I couldn't afford it. read more

My salesperson, Brad, was attentive and non pressuring, showed me only the car I wanted to see. Once I decided I wanted the car, he got all the financing and paperwork done quickly. This place is terrible. We had to have roadside service on Oct 7, 2012. All it required was a new filter for our truck and they were not going to fix it until Monday. The worst of it all was they stole a bread case out of our truck . I have contacted them several times and no one will respond. All I want is what was in the case. Bad place to deal with!!!!!! Need to keep a more clean environment, free of debris. So next time when I schedule an appointment at 9AM I don't have to wait for two hours because they got a wire stuck in my tire. Very inconvenient. Also, service attendant and manager were rude when I explained my frustration with how long it took to do an oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment for a reason, so I can plan my day. I had to cancel an important appointment because of their mistake. read more

Everytime I come for a scheduled oil change it takes +2.5 hours to complete, I only come here because of warrenty. My car broke down today while picking my child up at school and had it towed there, was told they won't even look at it until an available appointment opens up after next Wednesday. The service isn't worth the warrenty. I'm a mom of 4 and a nurse whom works nights/weekends and they left me stranded without a rental because I have Progressive Ins. read more

I'm not one to leave bad reviews but in this case is is more than acceptable. I actually just downloaded this app to post this. I've owned my truck for a little under 2 years and have taken it to McCluskey for almost all of the repairs. The second day I owned the truck I took it in for a bumper repair, fast forward to present date and they are still attempting to repair it. Their methods are not gm standards. They have attempted to glue plastic panels onto my bumper multiple times and have failed at every attempt. I dropped the truck off for the 6th attempt at the same repair on Tuesday June 21st. I picked it up on Monday June 27th. I pulled into the drive way and the bumper is already coming apart the same exact way it was before. I open my tailgate and it made a popping noise and now the tailgate is bent. I called the service manager Tim Shaw (who is continually dodging my phone calls) and he says that this bumper is a mystery and that they never touched the tailgate. After calling 2 other dealerships and confirming that replacing the bumper pads would be easier with the tailgate removed I took it back to McCluskey for Tim to look at it. He then had the audacity to tell me I must have hit something on the way home. He states that he has 32 cameras that show it left perfectly fine. I will never again take another vehicle to them. I'm even hesitant to take my service vehicle! Now the only option for me to get my vehicle properly repaired is to file a lawsuit. Which I have already begun the process. Absolute worst service center in the entire country. None of the technicians or managers are held accountable for any of their actions and when you try to go higher up in command no one calls you back. If the next closes dealer was 1,000 miles away I would drive there to have my oil changed over going back to McCluskey read more

Yeah..McCluskey is the home of credit..but watch what they say to you. I agreed to take 6,000 for my truck and was buying a new car from them. I call the next day to make sure everything is good to go and Im then told now I will be only getting 3,000 for my truck and my payment would be 500 with a 20% interest rate. We had problems starting day 1 and i mean that literally!! transmission went out 3 months into owning it, had almost every thing replaced MOST of it against us them telling them NO the engine was the main complaint the whole time yet always overlooked. Took it to the Better Business Bureau and was told they would look into everything in a completely neutral setting and apparently i was idiotic enough to fall for that lie, they changed my words around even though they were recorded and i could prove i said otherwise and wouldn't accept my "mistake of fact" request which is their sorry excuse for an appeal needless to say we lost and are stuck with this and a 163 dollar a month car payment, unlike Mccluskey Chevrolet we are a working family with 3 children yet already struggling to survive they are a banging business who can get away with ignoring a serious engine issue this car blew not much more than a year after the purchase mind you they had it 90% of that time please share this so people can see how corrupt the world really is and maybe some day it will fall into the hands of someone who can help me. to top it all off i would like to point out how silly it was of me to accept the arbitration over a real court hearing because until we lost i didn't even think about this ..... BBB is a non profit organization who takes charitable donations from businesses and in return they get a rating system. I was searching for a new 2016 Chevrolet Traverse and found one (stock # 160088) advertised for $25,156 on the McCluskey Chevrolet website. When I called to inquire about this vehicle I was first told on the phone that it was still available but that some research would be required to confirm I was eligible for all rebates related to the vehicle. Subsequently I received a text message stating "as luck would have it, this vehicle is being sold right now!". I was offered another vehicle (stock #160089) for $585/mo for 60 mos. Do the simple math and the total is $35,100. When I text replied that this price wouldn't work the only response was "MSRP plus taxes at 0% interest". This exchange occurred 2 days ago. Today I checked and the original vehicle (stock # 160088) is still shown on their website at the $25,156 price. Hmmm. I bought the same vehicle elsewhere for MUCH less than $35,100. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! I scheduled a time to meet with a sales person over the internet for 5:00 on the same day. We show up at the dealership at 4:40 and was greeted by Daniel Lewis (salesman). We talk, I tell him what I'm looking for and the price that I was looking to be at. Daniel goes to get the keys for a test drive....comes back 15 minutes later and says that the vehicle isn't on the lot and that we can ride with him over to the Galbraith Rd location to get the car and then I can use the ride back as a test drive. Works for me! Keep in mind that this is rush hour by this time. We get to the Galbraith Rd location where we drive around and don't see the vehicle. He goes inside only to come back out 30 min later and says that they don't know where the vehicle is and that HOPEFULLY it's at the location on Reading Rd. Umm ok. We go over to the Reading Rd location and after us cruising the lots and him going in to ask, we come up with nothing. At this time he says "I don't know what to tell you except that maybe it's been sold." Ummm didn't I make an appointment to drive a SPECIFIC vehicle and now you don't know where it is? When we pull into the McCluskey lot at Kings Auto Mall we go through the parking lot again and BOOM, there it sits. 2+ hours after arriving at the dealership I'm finally able to view the vehicle(2011 Cadillac SRX). After some shuffling around some other vehicles, the one that I came to view is pulled around to the back for us to test drive. We take the vehicle for a test drive and even after all the confusion I'm still interested in the vehicle. Before walking in to talk about numbers, we notice that the one headlight isn't working and has condensation inside the lens. I asked "does that headlight have a bad seal or something?" I was told that it was just a light bulb and that once the bulb was replaced that the condensation would burn off. Fine. We go inside to talk numbers and he goes to check on the availability of the light bulb. He comes back some time later and says that they don't have the bulb in stock and that they will get the part in the morning and then deliver the vehicle to me in the morning at work. I told everyone there that I get off at 3pm. Fine. While he was checking on that, I was out looking at the vehicle closer (since I got there in daylight and by the time I got to see the vehicle it was dark) and noticed that one of the 2 piece rims was cracked. I asked and was told that they couldn't do anything for me about that because "that's what you get with a used vehicle". After some time and back and forth with both Daniel and the so called Manager, I got them to give me $150 towards a new rim. The whole time that we were talking about the rim, it was suggested that I just go to the pull and pay and get a rim. No thanks. Well the next day comes and I get no communication from Daniel and it's now 1:00ish and I text him. (that's how we communicated which was fine with me) He texts back saying that they were sent the wrong part and that it will have to be Monday for sure because they couldn't get the part on the weekend. Weird but ok. After some back and forth I was able to get a rental car. On Monday I receive no communication at all again, so I text Daniel again to make sure that we were still on track for delivery of my vehicle. He told me that they needed to replace the whole headlight. Tuesday I get no communication and then on Wednesday about 3:30 after no communication I call to complain and to tell them to keep their vehicle and to give me my down payment back. They never apologized except to say that "We have alot of cars and it's hard to keep track of all of them." That is the kind of horrible customer service that you can expect from McCluskey. Don't let the cool Chevy emblem TV, the free candy and soda or the fireplace fool you. That is about all you will get from McCluskey. read more

I would give 0 stars to the repair department at McCluskey Chevrolet if I could, but one is as low as they go. Unfortunately, I had a recall on my car that directed me to McCluskey to have it fixed. They had to separate my door lining from the external frame to check some sort of part responsible for rolling up the window. I received my car back with the lining still detached from the external frame, and when do they didn't roll up properly. I took my car back to them a second time, or after inspection they realized that there was a broken part reinstalled inside of my car, which they had to order in special. The day time mechanic told me to bring my car in during the day, since the evening or pear staff is subpar. Interesting it. Several weeks later at the part comes in, and they install it. My window was never quite the same, but at least was tolerable. Fast forward to this week and I'm noticing the internal door frame is once again separating from the external. A problem that I never had until the mechanics at McCluskey got their hands on my vehicle. I went to roll up my window and the rubber seals from the door frame popped out of the door! I called McCluskey Chevrolet today to see what their repair team was willing to do, since they are in my eyes culpable for this damage. The rude lady on the telephone stated that if the car repair was done within a year, they will be responsible for fixing it. She tried to schedule me for an appointment before looking up the date to see if they were liable. I asked her to look up the date of service, which was June 29!!!! It is within a year, so we went ahead and schedule the appointment. When I called back to ask about possible car rental, since I work in sales and I need a car for work,, she told me I would have to pay for it since I am out of the Year date. I said "wait, you said June 29th was the date of repair, are you trying to charge me for all of this car repair?" The rude woman then tried to tell me she never said the repairs were going to be covered. Rather strange considering she had just explained that if repairs were done within a calendar year, they are responsible for fixing them. Suddenly she's trying to tell me they are not responsible, and then I will be paying for it out of pocket. I told her she shouldn't be responsible since I've never had problems with my door up until they got their hands on my car. Horribly unprofessional, poorly run, ultra shoddy work. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. All of this happened because of a simple recall that directed me to McClusky. read more

Hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had!! We will continue to buy our future cars from them. It was wonderfully decorated and comfortable inside. The sales team was knowledgeable and willing to work with us to get us the deal that we wanted. The fact that they also had complimentary Starbucks, soda and snacks made it so easy to stay there with our four kiddos! There was plenty of room for them and in the lounge area, you can essentially have an entire section to yourself. There are lots of plugins for tablets and phones and it was wonderful. The best thing too, the sales team would come to us! We did not have to wait in a tiny room with four kids. We were able to wait in the nice lounge and the sales team brought the deals to us. We have two other cars we are considering trading in and we will go to no other place! We normally HATE car shopping; this has changed our opinion. Where do I begin! As soon as I got to the doors, they were opened for me and several other times I went in and out they opened the doors, which is awesome in the rain! The lady at the front was very friendly and made small talk which was nice too! The entire dealership is state of the art and top of the line. I love the blues and oranges throughout, tons of seating and it's laid out so well. Besides, who doesn't love Starbucks coffee while you wait or your own custom mix of Coke! Karen & Paul are fantastic! We went to a few other stores and no one was able to help us like Karen & Paul. They were honest, which is so important, and fair on pricing. We drove away in a brand new car and we couldn't be happier. I never felt rushed when making decisions and they were very organized and had answers for us quickly. If you have credit blemishes and need help, don't go to any other store, do yourself a favor and come here first! All of the salesmen were friendly and great, and Karen took really great care of us and answered every question we had! We made an appointment Saturday, December 10 at 9:30 am. We were greeted and checked in. We were asked if we would also like a wash on our truck while we were there and we said Yes. After 45 minutes our service visit was completed. We walked out to the truck and it was not washed. We had other plans so we had to get on with our busy day. After our next stop we get out of the truck and notice a huge Yellow mark and gouge out of our front black rim and a scratch on the rim on the other side the truck. We immediately called the service department only to be told there was NO MANAGER AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS. We left a voice mail. After a few hours we were called back and arrangements were made to have the truck picked up on Monday to have it evaluated and fixed. On Monday we received a call stating the soonest they could take a look at the truck was December 28. This is not acceptable. We are very disappointed in the service department. If we didn't have to come in there for our warranty oil changes and tire rotations we would definitely not be returning to your establishment. Next time we come to service we will make sure we walk around our vehicle with the person checking us in to make sure there are no damages during our service visit. We have purchased 2 vehicles here and our children have also purchased cars here too. read more

I applied for a loan at a BMW dealership for a Mini Clubman in Cincinnati. 1 hour later my father-in-law recieved a phone call from McCluskey (Kelly in used sales) about how she needed to speak with me because I qualified for a loan there instead. She went into detail about me applying for a loan and basically gave him any info he wanted because "We have the same last name" and I guess he sounded trustworthy enough to actually be my father in law. I called the dealership and was transferred to bad lines 5x, I kid you not 5x, before I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak with a manager immediately. Hannah, the manager gets on the phone and goes into detail about how you can apply for a loan and they somehow have the right to contact you about getting a loan at a different dealership. Well I said fine and good, why did you guys never contact me directly, I'm sure my actual phone number was amongst all the paperwork that you were given??? Instead they call my next of kin (my mom, I gave her number on the loan) and my father-in-law who was so pissed he wouldn't talk to me (I assume since he's listed in the white pages they went to our last name, saw we lived in the same city and thought it was ok to do that). I am livid!!!! This is by no means the end. I am going to file a claim with the BBB for a violation of my privacy. No one should have the right to do this!!! If you can possibly believe this "Hannah, the manager," told me before we were off the phone that she would be glad to have my business and for me to come in so they could help me find a new car!!! Thought it was going to be a great time buying a good 2008 Avalanche from the chevrolet dealer McCluskey started out good My sales man Greg N. was pretty good we got the deal done was pretty happy then it went down hill, The truck started making Lifter noises. I contacted them through there own review center gave the same rating as this one, they did not like it so they called me and then started the process when they said they would stand behind what they sold, WRONG, The sales manage and I have had 16 different emails back and fouth to each other over this problem, I also took the truck to them because they wanted to check it out. I sent 5 different videos of the problem and they still say the truck is good to go and it has no problem!! So now GREG HOFFMAN has stopped emailing me and trying to shut me off from any help or any care in has customers that buy a used Truck or car from him .At this time and date I am still wanting to go to higher power because they are showing no care for this problem , You ask would i buy again?
