    Peoper PEPPER STEAK PLATTER

Portion for the chicharon is extremely small. small bite size pieces for 12 dollars. Flavor is good. Just disappointed by the portion. The steak platter portion is much better.

The best thing is how cute it inside the restaurant! The food was good, menu has a lot of options. Service fantastic! Great for a night out with friends for a fun atmosphere and fun drinks!

This is my favorite place to go for Rican food! Their food has such great flavors and I love the service here, all of the waitresses are so nice and make sure you have everything you need. I love how its decorated too, think tropical Caribbean vibes!! Important to note that they recently got their alcohol license taken away so no alcoholic drinks there at the moment!!

The food is consistent and good. The portion sizes are phenomenal and I can never eat all my food. The server, Massy, was amazing. I love the vibrant island vibe.

I tried McCocos on a Friday night at about 5:30 - the restaurant steadily filled up during my time there. The staff was warm, welcoming, and brought us beef and chicken soup right when we sat down. Unfortunately, they don't currently have alcohol so we weren't able to try a margarita. But both the Mexican Tacos and Miami Tacos with steak were good. They came with a lot of food! The interior decor is neon and groovy, very unique!

I took my friend from out of town here and the food was amazing! It definitely gives you island vibes! The drinks were amazing! The new patio is nice! There's a hammock you can relax in and a swing to sit in for pictures. The music makes you want to dance while you wait for your food. Speaking of the food everything is cooked to perfection nor do you have to wait long. The waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Speaking of the patio you can also reserve it for a party. The menu is very reasonably priced. My favorite appetizer are the plantains.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday with a friend when it opened. The service was very good, as well as the drinks. I said the empanadas were too greasy, while my friend said they were too salty. Probably wouldn't order again. I ordered the chicken platter, while my friend ordered the steak platter. Both her and I loved the rice. She finished her steak, while I only ate about half of my chicken. Nothing wrong with it, just a lot to eat. Drinks were amazing and I would definitely return just for those, maybe not the food so much. This place's is decked out in lighting and is super cute on the inside. All-in-all, a pretty mid experience.

A BOGO meal?! Uh, yes, please! I tried through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I got the Empanada Colombianas De Pollo O Carne. So good! I liked the chicken the best. And the dipping sauce was amazing. For meals, I got the arroz con gandeles platter. You can pick a free meal, so I chose the Bandera pepper steak. Both were delicious!!

We are here right now. The food is amazing. Looks amazing inside but our waiter is mostly on her phone than doing her job.

The bilingual staff was fantastic and the ambiance was great, although the music was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with my friend. The food was good, but on the salty side. The dish I ordered said that it came with plantains, but they forgot to put it on the plate so we had to request it. The serving size was enormous, so I brought almost half of it home to have as leftovers. Since the name is Mc "Cocos" (coconut), I asked if they had any traditional dishes made with coconut like the ones that are typical in Venezuela, but they do not have anything made with coconut. For dessert, I ordered the flan, which was good, however, it was missing the traditional "caramelo". I hope the owner/manager reads this review and is able to make adjustments based on it (specially music column)because I would really like to go back and bring some of my Hispanic friends.

I love all the air plants they have and the dark interior really does make it more of a "classy dive" as their name suggests. We came here for a Sunday lunch and to catch the Brewers game. They had a three dollar special on domestics when we went, which was cool. Our server was nice and our orders came out promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. I was blown away by it actually. When I go to dive bars, I don't have the highest expectations for the food because usually the food is mediocre. However, at this bar, it really blew me away. I had the ODB smashburger with regular fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful with such a fluffy, soft bun. I love that they put crispy onion straws in it for a little crunch. The fries are steak fries. They had some beer batter type of coating that made them so crispy and yummy. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I look forward to coming back to catch another game and eat their delicious food!

Wow! This may be the best cocktail bar in the city. It is a full vibe that must be experienced…read more Craft cocktails in a charming, warm, inviting space similar to a Victorian era home back in the 1900s. Service is impeccable. They do a tremendous job of explaining the menu and food options in detail, and ensure you have a great experience from start to finish. The drinks? Nothing short of amazing. They vary the featured cocktails menu every 8 weeks, so most likely you'll get a different experience every time you go. However you can always get your classic cocktails like Margaritas, French 75 and Martinis. They also can do any drink NA which is the first of its kind in the US. They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. Fair warning: it's small and difficult to get a reservation - don't try your luck walking in, this place is a hot ticket and you won't be able to get in without a resy, which could be weeks or months out. This is a true gem of a cocktail bar, and is as good as anything you would find in New York or Chicago.

Liked the vibe - reminds me of shakers cigar bar but without all the smoke (like, a bit spooky,…read moreold, maybe haunted but also very cool). We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

You can come with a group of friends and enjoy some conversation. I will also say the bartenders are great as they don't rush you and help you with the menu making things pretty seemless. We sat down at one of their cozy booths after a bit and hung out. The vibe is homey, cozy, rustic, and just good vibes overall. They have cool decor with huge plants and wood all around. The lighting makes it nice and cozy but not too dark. It's great during the day or later at night when the sun sets. I ordered their on tap espresso martini. It was super good! It had a strong coffee flavor which I really like, I do wish I saved that for my last drink of the night because it was very dessert like. I also ordered a 5oz Guinness which was perfectly poured and just the right size for what I wanted. It made sense it was perfectly poured since the bartender was Irish! He was great with getting drinks out quickly and always being cheerful with all of the guests, no matter how busy it was. Another must see Tosa/Milwaukee spot because it is just that good!
