We love McCowin Water! Brian was very courteous and very funny when he installed out Water Filter. He explained everything to us in very non-technical terms and even discouraged us from trying to read the manual because it was too technical! Who does that? :-) Anyway, about the product, just as a warning, you'll be spending in the 4-digit range, but it is worth it! My wife and I can taste difference, and we can bathe the difference too. When the water comes out of the sink, it almost feels like you are washing your hands in lotion. The water feels soft and you can clearly feel the difference taking a bath or shower. Also, we don't need to use a lot of laundry detergent for laundry and we don't have to use very much washing dishes either. Furthermore, it's very easy to disable the filter if you have problems and go back to the old water if you need to do some type of service, which you shouldn't have any at all. We are highly satisfied with McCowin Water after installing their customized system for our home a few years ago. I remember when Brian first installed the system and we purposely put aside a pitcher of water from our regular tap and then after his system was up and running did a taste test against our new filtered water system. UNBELIEVABLE difference. So much better after the filtration process! We chose to do a whole house water filtration because our tankless water heater was creating big mineral deposits that were clogging up our aerators. I love that McCowin Water reminds us when it is time to change out the filters. They explained how we could do it on our own, or have them come out to do the maintenance for us. Highly recommended water filter system! We have been experiencing it for one month. So far, everything is great: soft feelings from water, shiny surface inside water boiler (white layers of materials could be seen before), sweet drinking water, smooth skin after bathing, and so on. The other great thing is from the customer service experiences: quick response about any questions and problems, kind and courteous and easygoing Brian, effective installation and various follow ups. I will definitely introduce this company to more friends. However, a little reminder: make sure the main pipe to the filter system is separated from the irrigation system outside your house. We are suffering this headache: soft water goes out to water the greens. What a waste! read more

I love this guy. He's been handling my water filtration at home and work for years. Our office just moved last month and he came right out and de-installed our filtered water and took it out and sanitized it all and then re-installed it at our new location right away. I forgot to tell him the Landlord wanted copper piping. He installed poly (which is better in my opinion) and I had to call him to come back out because I had forgotten to check and the Landlord does insist on copper. He came right back out. We acquired a custom Commercial Whole Home System with GAC (granular activated carbon). We also got the reverse osmosis system under our kitchen sink for our drinking water. Brian was very hands on in educating us on our options and customizing our preferences. We love the feel of the water, which we would describe as "satiny" versus the super slick feeling that other soft water systems can give you. We love how our skin feels, how sparkly our dishes are out of the dishwasher and how soft our laundry turns out. Our system removes the hardness (hard minerals) causing our water to be "soft" and also removes chemicals and other toxic additives, such as Chlorine and Chloramines, protecting not only your pipes, appliances and your home and our family's health too. Our system uses potassium which means the water is healthy to use on plants and landscaping. I can attest that our plants seem to love it too! We highly recommend Brian's company. The installation was smooth and efficient and it's very low maintenance. We even got an email reminder for our annual follow up service call which was handled very well. read more

After literally months of research and talking to all the top rated Water guys on Yelp, I found Brian's products to be the most price competitive for the quality you are going to get. There is soooo much hype out there and lot's of guys trying to sell you slippery-slick snake-oil. Good clean water is just that: good clean water. If you're reading this review then chances are water is important to you in some way. Then, do all your research, call all the other guys, and do yourself a favor and call Brian last. He'll set you up with the best system for whatever you were going to pay the other guys. Brian is a second generation Water guy and has access to more choices than any other company I came across. Brian always answers my phone calls and can be reached via text. Here's my favorite thing about McCowin Water... the service. A+ for service. 2 calls for minor check-up's: the first call and Brian showed up the next day. The second call he was able to superhumanly stop by within 10 minutes and problem solved. Brian is an amazing person. I actually had compared several companies two years ago, and went with McCowin Enterprises for our filter and salt water system. Brian was not pushy, and he patiently provided me with articles and other helpful information to help me make a decision that was right for our family. I recommended him to at least four other friends/family, who also ended up using him. About a month ago, Brian calls me, from out of the blue, to say thank you for all the referrals he has received. He also offered to put in an RO system for me, at no charge. Wow! Who does that?! I tried to dissuade him, and told him that I recommended him bc I was happy with him and their company, and I did not need any reciprocal action from them, but he insisted on doing something for me. (Again, he wasn't pushy. He said he would love to put in the RO system, but if I didn't want it, he would find a way to do something else nice for me.)
