The water is fantastic now that we have a whole house filtration system. We know we have hard water too, but 8t does not bother us enough to pay the extra coin for a full softner system. I juist wanted filtered water that woukd eliminate any toxins leftover or picked up from my GSW Co water, and no chlorine! . 1 Year Review I've had the water softener for about a year now and it has been working great. My water was originally super chalky and had a ton of chlorine. Ever since getting the water softener installed, my dishes come out spotless from the dishwasher and there are no more mineral deposits on the shower doors. We had McCowin install a new water system (Hague) yesterday and I cannot say enough good things about them. Literally. From the woman/women I have talked to on the phone to Brian coming out and testing our water and going over all of our options with us, to answering my emails late on a Sunday night (I totally thought he would respond the next business day), to confirming when the install would happen, to getting a call from Matthew letting my know how far away he was (he showed up right on time) to the entire install, it was literally the kind of work you hope for. He got everything done under the kitchen sink and showed me how to use it.
