Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!

The panorama of all three of Atlanta's skyscraper centers is clearly visible, along with the historical architecture of Ponce City Market. The crowd is mix of tourists and locals in their 20s and 30s. The cocktails are solid. Food is decent, nothing to rave about, but again, hopefully nobody is here for the food. The lobster roll was very bread heavy and the useless dab of caviar was just a wasteful decoration. Yet, the atmosphere of the place, situated in the beautiful Forth hotel makes Moonlight an incredible spot for drinks.

Our server, Robert, was fantastic--attentive without being overbearing. He made great recommendations and was happy to move us from a small table to a more comfortable booth when we asked. They offer a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, but we opted for "Mocktail #2," which was pink, fruity, and refreshing with watermelon, mint, and lime soda. We started with the Chargrilled Louisiana Oysters, which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious--honestly, the best I've ever had. The Volcano Roll was also great--generous in size and perfect for sharing. It's listed as having "spicy crab," but I didn't find it spicy at all (a plus for me!). If you want more heat, wasabi is served on the side. For entrees, I had the Salmon Teriyaki and my husband had the Braised Beef. My salmon was perfectly cooked and came with fluffy white rice and mixed vegetables. But he definitely won the entree round--his beef was tender, flavorful, and served with what tasted like sweet mashed potatoes (the menu said red potatoes). The glazed carrots were slightly firm but still tasty. To top it all off, we were served a mini chocolate cake with whipped vanilla icing--soft, rich, and perfect for sharing. The inside isn't the largest resource been to, but has plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and we saw people dressed up and down. Overall, we had a great experience. Bully Boy is a gem, and I hope you're lucky enough to have Robert as your server!

The staff were polite and prompt, but some of the habits were just deeply weird. They kept coming by and folding our napkins. Like, you get up, use the bathroom (an unmarked door adjacent to the kitchen), come back, and somebody has picked up your napkin, the one you've been touching your face with, folded it with their bare hands, and left it there. Look, servers roll silverware and I'm no germophobe, but we really don't need more people touching my napkin throughout the meal, do we? This carried over to other staff who would randomly stop by to clear plates and wipe the table down while we all had to stop talking, watch them replace perfectly clean silverware with new perfectly clean silverware, and then leave. Always with new people. None of this makes it a bad restaurant. It's probably exactly what some people are looking for. It just isn't for me.

They were delicious! And the bread was perfect for soaking up the broth. I ended my meal with the olive oil cake, although I was so bummed that they didn't have anymore ice cream to pair it with. All in all, another lovely experience.

We drank iced tea (served in enormous cups) but there is a full bar available. The place is unassuming from the outside. Don't miss the overflow parking across the street when the small lot behind the restaurant is full. Inside is dark wood floors and furniture, the walls are covered with old photos ands m, and memorabilia. There are a handful of pinball machines in an alcove by the door and TVs hung on some walls for entertainment too. I'm glad I was able to enjoy a m al here. The food was good, service was good, and I felt like a local.

We can walk in before a night out, or after hitting the park in gym shorts and we're always feeling welcome and part of the neighborhood. Their rotating menu is always exciting to see what's new, but the sticky sesame wings and fries will always have my heart. When in season, their house made ricotta with strawberries is so good I could take just that for my entire meal! 10/10 recommend!

The flavor was a little thin and it felt like a bit of an after thought compared to the other mains at my table. While I'm glad there's a vegan option, I'm not actually vegan! I also got to try the scallop ravioli and the potato parfait that came with the strip steak--all of it was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. As we were leaving, we noticed they were setting up a DJ booth for some live music. It looks like a really fun spot, and we can't wait to go back!

The hotel was decorated with flowers and even a nod to the FIFA World Cup. We were greeted by the hostess and sat in the waiting area until 4 out of the 5 of the party arrived. Our server had set up our table adorned with lovely pink tea cups, tinted water glasses, a decorative plate, and folded napkins. Our server was so professional and let us know about the Girl Dinner on Thursdays too. We enjoyed our sandwiches, little desserts, and scones. Everyone raved about the flavor of the deviled eggs with truffle oil and the sweet crunchy scones. We look forward to returning in the fall for another afternoon tea experience.

First, I tried to see the menu online but quickly found there are a lot of menus and they change, so you can't really know what they're serving. They had just five entrees to pick from, and none were very appetizing. Each was over-engineered, too. They were good about asking about allergies, but if you're traveling and careful about introducing new things to your diet, maybe this place isn't for you. They do have a steak. At $200, it's made for the entire table. You can't just get a steak, even though they clearly have steak. Frankly, a lot of the menu was just gross. Sweetbreads, steak tartare, veal. We picked a chicken plate with potatoes. The potatoes were fine. The chicken was very dry. I asked for iced tea. "We don't serve tea products" was the response. WTF? And while the cocktail and wine choices seemed numerous, the beer was extremely limited. We just stuck with water. Then there was the service. The staff were polite and prompt, but some of the habits were just deeply weird. They kept coming by and folding our napkins. Like, you get up, use the bathroom (an unmarked door adjacent to the kitchen), come back, and somebody has picked up your napkin, the one you've been touching your face with, folded it with their bare hands, and left it there. Look, servers roll silverware and I'm no germophobe, but we really don't need more people touching my napkin throughout the meal, do we? This carried over to other staff who would randomly stop by to clear plates and wipe the table down while we all had to stop talking, watch them replace perfectly clean silverware with new perfectly clean silverware, and then leave. Always with new people. None of this makes it a bad restaurant. It's probably exactly what some people are looking for. It just isn't for me.
