I like how I'm waiting in line and the male cashier ignores me and helps the woman who came in after me. And also how their machine always has problems when it comes to any McCafé item you want. I ordered 3 small iced macchiatos and waited 10 minutes before the beverages were ready. Not including the 10 minutes I waited just to have my order taken or be acknowledged. I went inside instead of the drive through because the line was so long, but it took twice as long inside. If you're in a rush don't bother ordering any McCafé item. You'll end up waiting forever. And all the cashiers mumble and talk low so you can't even understand what they're saying. read more

This used to be the worst McDonald's around. Since the remodel, it is much better. There are self-serve kiosks so you don't have to worry about the employees getting confused or making a mistake. The drive-through may still suck but I wouldn't know, as I have never gone through it. When you do, you are at the mercy of all the cars in front of you. I'd rather walk inside and place my own order. The murals of Santa Anita race track are beautiful. That was a great idea. read more

I watched them pour a soft serve into a cone and when the consistency was not firm enough the worker throw the ice cream back into the top of the machine. I'm sure the health department would agree this is a no-no...and to top it off I noticed the worker didn't have gloves or a cover on cone. Gross. Will NEVER go back. Wanted to get a quick coffee before driving home. Ordered one medium coffee with some cream in the drive through and was told to wait in spot 2 (drive through parking lot) while they made a fresh pot. Ended up waiting 10+ minutes and still didn't get my coffee. They likely forgot about me. I was really tired and figured it wasn't worth the wait to go indoors and get frustrated- so I just left. Almost always have to park to the side in the drive through because they don't have something. Also, this isn't specific to this McD's but it has occurred here as well as others (and Wendy's): it is next to impossible to order a hamburger and NOT get a cheeseburger. Ugh! My biggest pet peeve ever. Hamburger does not have cheese. A cheeseburger has cheese. How hard is it to get that right? Waited for 10 minutes for fried. They came out and they were cold! This McDonald's is pretty bad in comparison with others I've had. The fries are never fully cooked, they barely put cheese in the quarter pounders and they never put ketchup in my order unless I ask. The last time I asked for ketchup I was given one packet. It's worth driving an extra 5 minutes for a better McDonald's. read more

Needed some breakfast so to the drive thru we go. I had an indecisive eater in the back seat so had to deal with getting a selection from him as well as a person on the other end of the speaker constantly asking of that would complete my order. Fast food workers need to stop asking if my order is complete. I will tell you when I'm done! Although I've worked fast food so I get it. We ordered mc griddles and a chicken sandwich (indecisive eater I told you about). The food was alright. Not the best but not the worst. Also got myself a mocha mccafe frappe. Seems like I'm getting less every time I go. It's tasty and creamy though. Guess they needed more time to complete my order since they moved me to the reserve spot which is always fun. I don't care, I'm Yelping here, so I might as well take the opportunity to b*tch about my irritating drive-thru experience at Morgan Spurlock's favorite restaurant. We went to sushi tonight. Girl went to the movies and Boy doesn't like sushi. Boy asked us to bring him back something to eat--so, irresponsible parental-types that we are, we brought him a bag o' McDonald's. Heck, he's only 15. All that salt, saturated fat and artery-cloggin' glop won't adversely effect his metabolism for at least another five, ten years. Well, we ordered him a crispy chicken sandwich meal and a couple of ice cream sundaes. When we got to the window, the dude handed over the sundaes and the soda and asked us to pull ahead to wait a minute for the food. Ten FREAKING minutes later a kid wandered out with two bags. He handed me a bag with a single chicken sandwich in it--no fries. I asked, "Where's the fries?" The kid looked confused for a moment and then handed me the other bag. That one had the fries in it. In the meantime, Girlfriend is holding a tray containing two cups of ICE CREAM SOUP. Arrrrrrgh! Of course, when we got home, we discovered that they didn't give us a straw for the coke. Arrrrrgh! Unbelievably bad customer service. First, went through the drive through to order family dinner. Drive home to find out 2 hamburgers we're missing from the order. Drove back to get the sandwiches only to listen to the manager tell me I only paid for one, which they failed to put in the bag. The manager said I had to pay for the second hamburger!!!! They made the original mistake and I had to pay for the second one??? This manager should be fired and banned from working in customer service forever!!! Good breakfast experience daily at this McDonald. I visit this restaurant about 2-3 times per week, mostly weekday morning. Each staff is polite with warm welcome. This store hires a white-shirt staff passing the dine-in order to the table. Kelvin is one of the best white-shirt staff. In addition, staff regularly comes to clean up tables & checks the garage bin. Clean rate: 9/10. read more

Josefina Lopez was rude. She walks to the register and looks at us and tells us when we're ready we can go to the kiosk. And it wasn't even busy at all. And then we waited for our food for a while and when they brought our food over they didn't bring us our cups for drinks but they stated that we had to go pick them up at the counter overall the customer service here was terrible and I'm very disappointed and I come here often. she talks very loud and she's very annoying. She told us to go to the kiosk but the other customers behind us she help them with their order at the counter. I feel like thats discrimination. Ok so in my past teen life I used to work at McDonalds. I know that of course none of their sandwiches look like their pictures. But when I order a basic sandwich like the filet o fish I have certain expectations. 1st - my bread and fish should be in alignment not half off the bun. 2nd- it comes with tartar sauce. When I opened the box the sauce was less than half an inch on the bun and the rest oozed on the side soggin up and none left to enjoy on my sammich. 3rd - CHEESE for crying out loud. What I got was a half of a half slice of cheese. What the? Don't get me started on mY smashed cheeseburger! Clearly they don't care what comes out of this place. I just tried stopping there at 11:35p on 5/24. Sat at the order window for about 2 minutes with no acknowledgment. Drove over to the pickup window to see if the lights were on, they were. Also saw a young blonde girl with glasses mopping with her earbuds in. Beeped the horn, couldn't hear me. She then went out of view. I went to drive around to the order window and I saw another employee outside, also had earphones in. I called over to her asking if they were open. She kept looking over with just her eyes. I beeped, I called, I even tried getting her attention with my flashlight. She just laughed and walked off. I drove through the parking lot and left. I had to drive to the Huntington Ave location instead. I am listed as an essential worker. I work nights and I can't always get my own meals prepared let alone a place to sit and eat. If kids like these don't want their job when so many people now are unfortunate to be home without jobs, perhaps they should quit. I gave the time and date of my attempt. I hope management sees this and reviews their tapes. Their lack of work is disgusting, especially in today's time. Terrible read more

(I've never really felt the need to review a McDonald's, since I feel like everyone knows what to expect, but I promised to do 100 reviews this year and I'm falling behind!) This is my default go-to McDonald's just because they are so close to me. 1 block away from my house and I pass it every single day on the way to/from work. Not just work, but anytime I need to get on the 210W I have to pass by it, so that's a lot. I absolutely LOVE McDonald's and this one usually does not let me down. I will admit that the fries here are not always the best... but when they're fresh, they are SO GOOD. For breakfast (which I think usually ends around 10:30AM), I get their 2 Sausage Burrito combo with a hash brown. Yum! For lunch (or dinner), I almost always get what used to be the #2 combo meal: two cheeseburgers, medium fries, and a drink. I choose the $1 Sweet Tea as my drink. This can also be hit-or-miss... sometimes they put in too much syrup, but usually it's fine. I have not tried any of the "McCafe" offerings as I'm not a coffee drinker, but I've heard good things about them. Sometimes I decide to change things up and get one of their premium chicken sandwiches, but for some odd reason I really like my McD's cheeseburger. I finally tried the McRib the other day and I didn't get what all the hype was about. I've never had any problems with my order whether it was at the counter or at the drive-thru. The interior is always clean and there's never been a shortage of tables. They offer free WiFi, which is nice--I saw several people on their laptops here the last time I came in. The employees have always been courterous and helpful; location and parking are convenient. McDonald's may not be the healthiest food option, but it's fast and reliable and delicious (to me). This place is usually just alright. The location on Huntington is much nicer with more efficient, polite employees. If you must resort to McDonald's, you may as well go to the nicest one possible. We pulled up today on our way down to Redondo Beach. We paid and then pulled up to the food window. The employee had put our bag of food on top of the drinks and tried to hand the whole thing over at once. My mom nearly dropped everything! The cashier just acted annoyed. We both got iced tea and my mom asked for 2 Equal (for her) and 2 Sweet N Low (for me). The cashier just walked off and chatted with another employee for a minute before coming back and handing my mom a handful of Equal and walking away again. My mom called her back over and reminded her that we also needed Sweet N Low. The girl rolled her eyes and said "I. DON'T.HAVE ANY" and walked off. Um. Seriously? Good thing the tea was weak, because I had to drink it without sweetener. Cross this place off the list! As if that wasn't enough, my mom got her burger with just cheese and onion. The cashier even repeated it, and the burger had the white ticket on it that said "Only cheese, Only dehydrated onion". Guess what they put on it? Everything else. I went through the drive-thru for a drink, and two apple pies. The employee at the window didn't greet me; she just handed me my drink and said, "you have to park over there, because we just 'dropped' the pies". I waited for over 15 minutes watching cars go through he drive-thru, so I walked in, and they were giving pies to another customer that had ordered pies inside. I asked why it took so long, they looked confused, and an employee in the back yelled, "oh shoot! We almost ran out of pies again! Then laughed. I could see there were only two left, and so it was obvious I walked in just in time before I'd have to wait for another batch. They gave me a free smoothie as an apology, which I appreciate, but the customer service, and lack of prioritizing orders was sad, to say the least. Went here today for a late dinner and was told to wait in the reserved. Unfortunately I had to wait about seven minutes, but the guy was very sweet apologized and even upgraded my mail a little bit so I have to say the wait was kind of stinky but the service was amazing. read more

Come on. It's McDonalds, so yes if you are eating here you are settling, but this one, which was renovated in 2018 is better than most. Lines are typically quick the food quality is consistent. It's McDonalds after all. If anything you'll save money and time and walk away healthier than you would had you ordered lunch across the street at Jared's Sandwich shop. read more

When I tried to order breakfast the manager told the cashier that it was past 10:30 and breakfast wasn't being served anymore. The breakfast menu hadn't even been pulled down yet. I went through the drive thru to order a Happy Meal. I asked for a 6 piece chicken nugget meal with apple juice, apple slices, and French fries. After pulling away I checked the meal instead of what I ordered I got apple slices with yogurt and no fries. I had to then park and go inside. The manager tried to explain to me how I should have ordered a Happy Meal that I order the same way at every other McDonald's and other restaurants get it correct every time. When he realized there were no fries in the box he was then confused and tried to explain away the reasons as to why they honestly messed up. The manager was annoying and unprofessional.
