Ok, I came back here today to type up some applications and surf the web. I could not and did not want to walk down to the Starbucks near 2nd Ave/Huntington because 1) it was too far away and 2) overpriced coffee simply isn't my cup of tea (or coffee, as I will humorously state). Thank god this McDonald's has free wifi. I read some other reviews online about other McDonald's that charged several bucks for wifi, but thankfully this one had free wifi. However, there is only one outlet in the entire building, and I had to wait a while until the other laptop user left. Luckily, my laptop has amazing battery life, so whoopee! I ordered the one dollar Sweet Tea, and although the cup reads "Freshly Brewed tea leaves," I'm more than 100% sure that it was an unhealthy concoction of high fructose corn syrup infused with tap water. But when they advertise it was freshly brewed tea leaves from the South, you have my patronage, no questions asked!! Anyway, this McDonald's will definitely be one of my top choice study spots: it is within walking distance, and a mere $1 gives me free AC, elevator music (although I greatly prefer Skrillex!!), a relatively quiet place to work, and a subjectively great atmosphere to get some work done (stress "Subjectively").. hence the 4 stars. I went through the drive thru to order a Happy Meal. I asked for a 6 piece chicken nugget meal with apple juice, apple slices, and French fries. After pulling away I checked the meal instead of what I ordered I got apple slices with yogurt and no fries. I had to then park and go inside. The manager tried to explain to me how I should have ordered a Happy Meal that I order the same way at every other McDonald's and other restaurants get it correct every time. When he realized there were no fries in the box he was then confused and tried to explain away the reasons as to why they honestly messed up. The manager was annoying and unprofessional. The food here at McDonalds is so bad that that the workers mop the floors so you don't get to the cashier. Literally anything fried here must be from the last millennium because they are tough and hard to eat. They taste like eating rags with (if you do put) sauce on it. Their restrooms are small and pretty dirty. It looks like they clean the actual eating place more than the restrooms. So unless you love rag food and a watery death trap while walking around, DON'T EVER COME HERE. Just go for another McDonalds. read more

I expect McDonalds to be fast, cheap and easy. That is exactly what this place is every time I come here unlike the one on Huntington that takes 30 min in drivethru! Not good enough! And, I'm a shareholder that really wants McDonald's to be the best out there. This particular location really needs to upgrade the counter help. Slow and not up to the task of taking basic orders. I asked for an unsweetened iced coffee the other day and they told me I couldn't get it unsweetened. Then I watched as the crew member poured my iced coffee and then went over to the liquid sugar and gave it a couple of pumps. When he returned I asked why he said unsweetened iced coffee wasn't available when he easily could have not added the liquid sweetener. All I got in return was a bewildered gaze. Oh well... Another area that needs improvement is a lot more focus on the in-store customers. The crew is so focused on filling drive through orders that they completely ignore the customer s in the store standing right in front of them. It gets insulting! Food is standard for mcdonalds but the facility is always infested with flies. Everytime I decide to eat inside the restaurant, I'm always battling flies while I eat. Was expecting it to be bad cuz of the ratings but they were nice. Even though the Happy meal charged more, they explained why. They take the AP well. Forgot to use the free fries one and went back up and they just have it to us. Food came out fast even when they were busy. I was there tonight @ 9:45, I found out u can get the McRib,2 4 5$ cooked fresh without all that sauce, got the onions & pickles, made 1 sandwich threw out the extra bread ,got the sauce on the side as a dip,it was so good! I have been a regular of this location for quite some time. The manager, Uriel, runs a top notch location. Everything runs smoothly even during the busiest times when he is here. Unfortunately not so much the case today as he wasn't here. Ordered 2 McGriddles and when asked for some syrup, I was told they were out like it was no big thing. It was a big thing to me. The manager on duty laughed about it and said I could use strawberry jam. Who runs out of syrup when McGriddles and pancakes are promoted heavily. There is another MCDONALD'S within a couple miles. Why couldn't they borrow some syrup? Throwing my strawberry jam on my tray certainly didn't help matters. A little compassion with a customer goes a long ways. Not so much today. The chorizo bowl is the WORST! I like chorizo and egg but this was not it! They gave me what looked like a piece of sponge that was comprised of egg with pieces of chorizo.... I usually don't eat fast food. When I walked in to this McDonald's I ordered a sirloin steak burger and personally I didn't like it. The point of this is when I went to the manager about it, he was completely respectful and asked if I would like something else. The burger I usually get is 2 dollars more and I said I would pay the difference. It wasn't a slow part of the day and even amongst all the people waiting for their food, I received the burger I asked for WITHOUT an up charge! Very good management here. If you are in a car, you probably will get better service. It is mostly a drive thru experience. The interior is something that you need to see to believe. Stuck in Miami Vice turquoise, teal, and pink pastels of the 1980's with a low drop ceiling and cool jazz playing in the background. Faux tropical plants make the Floridian experience all too complete. I keep thinking that the time machine will set this place forward, but hey, it works, so why? As long as I remember, I have been coming to this McDonalds. My mom would always bring home McDonalds after work.My sister would always order filet of fish. My brother would order a big Mac, and I would always order a cheeseburger with a orange drink. Till this day, I still order a cheese burger and a orange drink. My husband likes their McRib, especially when they have it. He also likes their double quarter pounder with cheese. I really like their filet of fish as well as their Big Mac. We always order combos in which you get a sandwich, a medium drink and fries. For breakfast, they have a wonderful yogurt parfait. My husband and I split the 2 egg McMuffin combo. My experiences at this location have gotten worse over a short span. We've gotten mean annoying behaviors, cold food and cold hot drinks. My friend even got soda spilled on him by an employee with no remorse!! I've placed an online order and was told by the Mexican lady at the drive thru that my order didn't show up and to go inside regardless of me having payed for my food already. I couldn't understand why she couldn't ask someone about it or use any common knowledge, but I'm guessing it was the language barrier. I go inside and they're placing it in a bag and taping it up as if I was ordering for Uber eats. I didn't even say anything at that moment and just left.
