My previous review several years ago was already a 1 star review. Is there zero stars or negative stars? I realize this McDonalds has been in this location for a long time. At the time of opening, the design was acceptable with little development in the Northwest. However with all the progress and home building, this restaurant is outdated, the drive through lane is crap. On my way home from work last saturday, I saw a bill board ad for McDonalds: $5.99 for 2 egg Mcmuffin sausage sandwich. Need to stop and get some. I thought about the new location on Heath and Stockdale but made a mistake to go to the Rosedale / Allen location which was the closest to where I was. I had a feeling this was going to be a horrible experience and it was. I went to the drive through and I was the 3rd car from ordering. I was in the same spot for 7-8 minutes as the cars in front of me did not move at all. When I got to order, I was told it will be a few minutes. 5 minutes, 6 minutes and finally around 8 minutes later I was able to order. It took another 5-6 minutes to get to the cashier which was only 2 cars in front of me. Another 5-6 minutes I finally paid for my order. 2 cars ahead of me and after 8 minutes I got to the window to get my order. I was told to wait and I told the kid this was ridiculous, almost 30 minutes for the drive through. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. It was another 5 minutes before I got my order and drove off. The worse part? The eff Mcmuffin sausage sandwich tasted like plastic! It was horrible and greasy! Should be negative 2 stars. The Store Manager at this MCDs must hate money because his/her employees clock in and don't do $#*T. I pulled up thru the drive thru at 10:30pm 7.21.25 and waited 5mins no answer. Unfortunately this is by far the worst McDonalds experience I've encountered. I'm guesstimating that I've probably been to around 40-50 different locations across the country. This particular one happens to be close to my current location. The food is awful and the service is terrible. IMO it's not that the workers are bad but simply not enough for a fairly busy area. I have ordered for curbside a few times and they have been slow. Didn't think too much about it cause the drive thru was long. Last night I paid attention. Got there and I was glad I ordered cause the drive thru was long. It said 2-5 minutes for my food to be out. I watched the long line go away and build back up a few minutes later and I still didn't have my food. I checked the time and 10 minutes had gone by. I went inside and about 4 people looked at me and no one asked me if I needed help and I stood by the pick up counter. A few minutes of standing there I was finally asked if I needed help. The girl gave me a BS line that they were busy. Then another lady was like oh I have to take this outside. My food was sitting there for who knows how long. It was long enough that my food was kind of warm. By the time I got home it was cold and I don't live that far from there. Service is incredibly slow. Everyone that was behind me got their food first and the worker told me they were waiting on fries and my order was up next. Watched several more orders inside and in the drive thru get served before mine. Asked for the mambo sauce and was told they would charge me for it! Staff was inept and needs to be replaced. They also forgot my drinks and when I brought it up they didn't seem to believe me despite my having stood up front the whole time with nothing in my hand. The nuggets were old and rubbery. Staff was also rude when asked about the different Halloween buckets and which ones they have. This has to be one of the worst McDonald's in town. The staff is HORRIBLE. They always burn the food, and they don't use common sense when preparing the food. I asked for cheese on my chicken sandwich, and they put the cheese on top of the lettuce instead of the chicken.. who does that? It's a little ridiculous when you order almost $40 of food and are given 3 half empty drinks out of 5 & 4 ripped up fry containers.. As soon as we got home, took our fries out of the bag the containers were ripped in half & all the fries fell out. Called in to let them know about the faulty fry holders & to double check their machine is filling up sodas all the way & we were just given rude responses by the "manager" Hailey (working around 11 pm 2/12. She didn't apologize at all for the poor quality order we received or an offer for a replacement for the fries we dropped due to their faulty packaging or half filled drinks. There was no one in the drive thru, so I don't understand what the rush was to get our order out so fast & poorly made. Ridiculous... no surprise you work there Hailey. As a manager you need to be apologetic when a paying customer is letting you know your mistakes & to double check your work, so others don't deal with the same poorly packaged /made food. Maybe if this location worked on the food more and less on speed, you would have more than 1 star review. Hailey needs to work on her customer service/management skills for sure. I've been coming to this spot for a little while now. For the life of me, I cannot see what so many people are complaining about. The staff is friendly. The store is clean. The food is good(as far as McDonalds goes). What's the deal? Heres my typical morning: Early morning, there is nobody here but me and the employees. They have got my order perfect every time. I step up to the counter and before I get there, somebody greets me in a friendlier-than-should-be-allowed-at-5:15am manor. I place my order, they read it back, I pay and they thank me. I then sit in my usual spot and write(uninterrupted spot is best if you're gonna write a book. Pro tip for ya). As I'm writing, they bring my food to me. My order has been perfect every time. I change it up every day and they haven't missed a beat yet. To those of you that give one star to a store that doesnt have this or that, understand that the store itself(and the franchise operator for that matter) does not have control of what they are allowed to sell and not. Dont knock them for what corporate gives and doesnt give. Give them reviews based on merit of service and excellence. Finally, to the employees that have given such great service, thank you. Danielle and Devenie, thank you for your cheery faces in the morning. You make the world a brighter place.
