We don't normally go to McDonald's but we needed breakfast and the line at Jack's and Waffle House was ridiculous. We went through the drive thru. They have a lot of options for breakfast. They even have blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, and apple fritters. I ordered the big breakfast with hot cakes for my daughter and I. Hubby got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We got through the line fast. Everything we needed was in the bag -- syrup, napkins, and utensils. The big breakfast comes with pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit. It really was a lot of food. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed it. We all said that we would come here again. read more

I know this location hasn't had the best reviews in the past and I understand why. However after a recent renovation I am pleased to say that things are really looking up for this McDonald's. I have been going by on my lunch break regularly for the past two weeks and I have been very impressed with the quick and hot food that I have received and even more pleased with the exceptional service I have been getting from the employees in the drive-through. When Going fishing I pass by here and I accidentally took my medication without food so I whipped in to get an egg McMuffin and keep going after a 15 min wait I got an egg McMuffin, place wasn't busy and I knew better than going there, only unsuspecting travelers stop here off 459 and old farts that Need food with medication . Avoid for sure I would have went to jacks but the line was wrapped around the building . What a great business model McDonalds has , serve any kind of food as slow as you want and still keep the doors open . So today was just one of those days....One of those days where nothing is going to satisfy my hunger except a Sausage Biscuit. I know I have said this before, but McDonalds isn't my favorite and I typically go along time between visits. Compared with other McDonalds this one really did a great job (This is a review of about the drive through). When you go to the drive through there are some things that are a must, primarily friendly and fast. Well done McDonalds! Hit on both of these points. Processed the drive through customers with speed and were very friendly. Order was right the first time. Another bonus! When I got my order home it was still very warm and hit the mark as far as taste goes. Also, took part in the any size soft drink/tea for $1 and got a large sweet tea. These can be really hit or miss and it can be location based. The tea here was really good! Ordered 1 #5 combo, 10 nuggets w/BBQ sauce, fries and a large coke. I also ordered one filet of fish. As I'm sitting here eating my filet of fish and fries. I was thinking about how good it was because it was very hot. I was about to give them a good review when I reached in to get in to get. My chicken nugget and when I opened the box it was yet another fillet of fish sandwich. Knowing that they were just end up throwing it away if I turned it in, I went ahead and ate it. She told me it was 10 PM I explain to her that it was only 9:40 PM. She told me they were out of everything. McDonald serves 68 million people a day. I am usually one of those 68 million. This location is conveniently located right off I459. This is a newly renovated Mcdonalds. Very clean interior. The staff is very good. They offer dual drive thru lanes which makes for a faster experience. They get very crowded around lunch time. So, plan to wait a bit if you're in a rush. I usually order a Big Mac with extra sauce (I live life on the edge) but this trip I order a 20 piece chicken McNuggets. I always get extra ketchup packets and store in my car because I never know when my McDonald's craving will hit me and I need a quick fix. read more

I mobile ordered my food and pulled into a curbside pickup spot. The app informed me that it would be about 5 minutes. After about 15 minutes, the woman in the drive thru window yelled at me from the restaurant that curbside was apparently closed. There was no indication to me that it was closed by come or sign at the restaurant, and so I pulled into the drive thru in which they apparently had lost my order and the woman was very confused. The communication was very lacking and overall I waited 45 minutes to get lunch on Monday afternoon. When I did get my food, it was cold. Went through the drive thru, they had taken my order down wrong. Asked for number 1 with a large coke, they put me down for 4 McDoubles with a large coke. They have me pull into the waiting space and I waited for 20 minutes. By the time they came out and gave me my food, they forgot my drink. It took them 8 minutes to get my coke for me. Its a shame that they went to the expense of tearing down the old McDonalds to build a really nice one but forgot to let the employees know that customer service is one of the most important aspects of fast food! This McDonalds is almost always very busy. Somedays I get a really happy energetic person helping me. Some days they look like they wish I was dead. The food is McDonalds food so it is what it is. Fast food chain stores are usually rated on customer service. You already know if you like the food. Drink area is usually a mess. Bathrooms are ok. Seating area can have a sticky floor. I usually just get drive thru. Sometimes it is best not to see the inside. read more

Worst service I've seen. It was 1:40 AM and it felt like the cashier didn't know what was going on. I couldn't order breakfast because the eggs and chicken wasn't ready so why is it advertised? Why would cleaning a grill prevent you from making what the customer ordered? The fact is they have multiple grills and she didn't want to go out of her way to cook the breakfast. So my burger has been sitting in a tray for hours I'm assuming. As I pulled up to the window to pay she was on the phone while trying to accept my payment. A few moments later she informs me they're out of sweet tea and I ordered a different drink. She handed it to me with my drink all over the cup. There was an employee sitting on the counter on his phone not a care in the world. I'm beyond pissed but I hope they get new employees that have some care in the world about customer service and how much it means to any business. read more

Very disappointed in this McDonalds!! Only visit because it is conveniently located. They must have special hours on their ice cream machine as it is rarely up and running after 5 pm! Never going here again. Went through the Drive-Thru, had us pull forward which was understandable. After 15 minutes of waiting we receive our order and we are missing a drink, ice cream, and a sandwich. We went in and got it. We doubled checked the order and we were still missing a sandwich. As I walk in- two of the workers are in the front of the store smelling of illegal substances. I continue on and order the sandwich they forgot. While waiting on my sandwich the two workers walk in, do not wash their hands, and continue working in the back. I finally get my sandwich. I admit that we don't expect much from a fast food restaurant and that especially includes McDonald's but this place has big problems. From the drive thru person not paying attention when taking your order and me having to repeat it three times to NEVER getting a correct order, I will remember this time that every time I have brought home food (and I am using the term "food" lightly), that we have said it was the worse thing we have ever eaten. Fries are either too salty or have none at all. Buns are always stale and hard. Big Mac had 5 times too much special sauce, cold food is the norm and forbid asking for no cheese or no onions. Orders have, again NEVER been correct. Customer service is mediocre at best. Once they did get our order correct and we were amazed! This may be hard to believe but I actually got a double hamburger one time and they forgot to include the meat. Luckily I checked it before I left. I promise 100% true. I don't usually write reviews but this one came easy! I'm for raising minimum wage but how about earning it. Phew!!! 0 stars. read more
