Worst service ever. Spent $82.88 on breakfast sandwiches for my family and everything was wrong. Taking the order the girl was obviously struggling to comprehend, even when we double ensured they were McMuffins at the window... and after getting home we find out there's not one correct item other than hash browns, so we called the store. Elena the manager said there's nothing they can do but refund and recharge the entire order, make us drive all the way back with the old food and pick up the new, with more charges to come. Also made us wait a solid 20 minutes the first time. Elena was extremely rude and unapologetic, and hung up on me when I said tried to pass the phone to my sister. Worst customer service I've ever received at a McDonald's location. The food is already not much to come back for, however, I've never had someone so nonchalant about ruining an entire $80+ order. If you're looking for a quick eat I would NOT suggest this place. I'm so sorry this is the only McDonald's near the lake I would hate this to be people's only option. Even while picking up the food they were annoyed that they still couldn't get it right. We had to explain to Elena for quite some time what we actually ordered. She had us wait at the last window, when finally a man in a button up quickly just handed the food and closed the window immediately. I can not believe the disrespect from this location. I came here once before and believe will be the last! First and foremost, I believe there are alot of young adults that earn the title to become of a certain stature. It would've been nice to know that it was drive in only at 9pm after walking 8.5 miles only to walk all the way back to grab the car. It was a nice day out for all of you wondering why I walked 8.5 miles in the first place. But this McDonald's is easily one of the best McDonald's I've been to. It was quick, the chicken nuggets were the perfect level of crispy(not undercooked like most) the fries as well had the perfect amount of crisp and the shamrock shake wasn't melted off spawn. "Very thick shake". 4.5 stars only because I got chased by a black bear on my walk back to the car. For a McDonalds, this one's great! Super clean, quiet (on a Monday night), lol, and has great WiFi. Hubby and I are staying close by at a cute cabin, which has a very weak signal, and needed internet for a bit. We got two lattes, three cookies for $1.50 and sat comfortably for an hour or so. It is very pleasant, we'll come here again. The decor is simple and modern. It's nice to be able to order from your table and run over to pick it up too. Good job McDonald's! read more

The only McDonald's in Big Bear. Remodeled and pretty clean. They have no one working the register at breakfast. It was completely empty. Talk about one of the worse McDonald's I've ever been to! I rarely review on franchises due to fact that every store is meant to mirror itself unless something sparks out of proportion that i then write one. As mentioned, one of the worse!! Terrible. Our Quarter Pounder was loose in the box with all the ingredients strewn around. Apparently they threw in there like a frisbee, and the Spicy Chicken sandwich looked like it had been stepped on. They forgot the milk with our Happy Meal. Very unhappy with my recent trip. The digital display did not correctly tabulate my order and charged me 62.5% more for my chicken sandwich snack. He got a hamburger meal and his meal was fine and I ordered two regular hamburgers because they're my favorite. They really taste bad without the ketchup and mustard. 4 people standing around lobby door open with welcome sign hours posted open till midnight. I was told lobby was closed, it's not posted anywhere. I walked there and I'm not waking home to drive my car back. They said their lobby registers are locked but they're all standing 2ft from an open drive-thru register that for some strange reason can't be used for a walk in customer or choas will ensue. Post obvious signs and lock your lobby doors if that part of your restaurant is closed. Next time I'm craving fast food I'll be going elsewhere. read more

So everytime I go to this McDonald's the employees working the drive thru always seem to forget something in my bag they forgot fries this time last time they forgot to put my burger in the bag I just don't get it. On top of that the nuggets that I got were completely stale I broke a tooth trying to eat one. They are also stingy with the sauce. They only give me one or two for 20 nuggets. They act like their job is hard when really they have the easiest job in the world working at a fast food joint. The employees working there are probably always high.
