This McDonald's has a lot of bad reviews, but my experience was great! We stopped here for a quick breakfast and decided to eat inside. They did have 2 drive thru lanes available and a small play place area. A lot of McDonald's are moving towards self order kiosks and away from the order taker at the counter. This one was no different. We placed our order on the kiosk and then our food was delivered to our table. The person who brought our food was nice. We ordered a steak egg and bagel meal, one breakfast burrito and one egg McMuffin. Prices have definitely increased and it was $20 altogether. But the food came out hot and fresh. I enjoyed everything I ate. The lobby was clean and nice. And the bathrooms were also clean. I would stop here again if I was in the area. read more

I see this location gets a lot of bad reviews but we had a great experience with the kids for breakfast. Headed home on a roadtrip and decided to stop here for breakfast. Everything came out fresh and quickly. I'll say the prices compared to Texas pricing is a bit crazy. $9.50ish for an egg muffin meal which I typically pay $5-$6. Crazy. I look for places with a playscape and they had it which was nice and a large seating area. Best thing is you get refills yourself! I love that because I hate bothering the staff for multiple refills. Will be back if in the area. It's close to Hemenway park so that's a plus too. read more

My experience was great here in this location. I haven't had McDonald's for awhile but it was nice and quick to order from the kiosk. Indoor was very clean and quiet as it is bit of middle of nowhere. We ordered quick grab to eat before heading to Hoover Dam. We ordered Hot Honey McCrispy burger, Fish Burger and two wraps. Total came out to be $20. I think because of the location it was bit expensive. Except for the price Limited Special Menu, Hot Honey McCrispy burger really hit the spot! :) read more

Cold food, wrong order, and this last time we went inside and put our order in kiosk and after 12 minutes the customers behind us and ALL drive thru were served. Why did I go back? What was I thinking? So, today we ordered through the mobile app (for drive thru pick up) and when we got there to pick up the order, we were told the Big arch was no longer available so I decided a quarter pounder instead. Well, the big arch which I already paid for (through the app) is nearly 3 dollars more expensive than the quarter pounder so I asked for a refund of the price difference. The two window workers didn't understand what I was talking about so I asked to speak with the manager (call me a "Karen", I don't care. If I pay for it, I do expect for it to be correct or even available for that matter...) The manager also couldn't comprehend what I was explaining but eventually a lightbulb came on luckily. We get home and realize we didn't get either one of our drinks, no big deal, that kind of thing happens. We went back. Got our drinks only to arrive home a second time and discover our 4 pc nugget was missing and my drink left me with a weird almost chemical aftertaste! I was not about to go back there for a third time. I feel ill after 3 bites of my nasty burger and most likely tainted drink... I would not at all be surprised if the manager added something a little extra to my drink to make me sick. Jokes on her when corporate reviews the footage. I just ended up filing another complaint with corporate as well as the health department and this is the actual last time our family will ever spend another dime there. A&W is great. Most of the employees, including management, don't speak English. Good luck trying to communicate with the staff. They will fuck your order up, and then have the audacity to lack the ability to take accountability. The kitchen and back of house areas are all filthy. I walked back there to see. Honestly I think they must try NOT offer quality food or service at this location. I stopped in at 10:58 AM on a Monday morning. I was the only person in the lobby. No-one greeted me or spoke to me. I tried to order on the electronic order board but could not get my order to save and proceed to the next screen. A young female worked walked by and I asked for assistance and she continued to walk past me like I was invisible. I didn't order exactly what I wanted but was able to get 2 cheeseburgers and large fry to populate. Again I am the only one standing in the lobby... 5 minutes later a guy walked up, tossed my bag on the shelf and called my order number. That's it. No have a nice day, do you need ketchup, nothing. I grabbed my bag and headed to the car. I was amazed the fry's were warm at best, not hot, barely warm and the cheese burgers were so flat the only explanation is someone maliciously smashed them. I took a couple bites, threw the rest in my bag, and threw it all out when I got to my destination. I rarely write a review on McDonalds. They are what they are but here is one anyway. We walked in to what appeared a very clean store. Only a few were waiting on their orders to be prepared. Our order was taken by a friendly employee and so then, we waited. I had ordered the McCrispy chicken because the other chickens were hot and spicy. I'm not a spicy fan. My husband ordered a milk shake, hamburger and fries. Everything was pretty much as expected except for the Mccrispy chicken. The "crispy" chicken didn't look crispy at all. It was flat and hard. The bread was fresh but had nothing on it (and I do mean nothing) other than 3 pickles. All I could think about was that McDonalds could do so much better than a dried up chicken sandwich. The only issue I have with this particular McDonald's location is how expensive it is; $4 for a simple cheeseburger. Otherwise, the food is standard McDonald's fare, and the restaurant was clean and well stocked with napkins, sauces, and sanitizer. Service was good. read more

We live here in Boulder City, and we can't even order food every time we go there, they get our orders wrong, and we have talked many times to management. This morning is another incident that did not have to take place. I ordered a pancake breakfast (2) and was given two different prices. When I said something about the prices. The McDonald's worker argued with me to the point that management got involved. Once the management got involved, it got worse. Her "management" started arguing, telling me I was not doing it right. 3.5 Stars for the Boulder City McDonald's. It seems that the days of solely relying on a cup of coffee before a hike are behind me. With a hike ahead of me, hunger had consumed me on the main street of Boulder City. It was time to consume a few $1 Menu items in the Boulder City McDonald's. Before hitting the hiking trail, it was also time to consume some data on my device's memory card taking pictures. The Boulder City McDonald's is one of those unique McDonald's that stands out. That is on account of the bronze statues outside. Here are a few scenes throughout the large parking lot. Facing the Red and Black Mountain is a bronze statue of a little girl holding a cat. Fronting the building alongside Boulder City Parkway is a bronze statue of a landscaper mowing the grass. Bronze statues adorn the drive thru and outside the modern building. This McStatuary scene put me in a good mood before I set food inside. The $1 Menu items put me in a better mood. The nice thing about the $1 menu is that it is a McTasty way of satisfying the hunger bug for a few hours. Speaking of bugs, I do not think there are any lingering here. The lobby was immaculately clean. It was on a clean table that I ate two Hot & Spicy McChickens and a sipped from a Large Bottemless Coke. This is worth $3.24 after taxes. As I write this in a large dining room at a table overlooking the indoor playground, brown and tan tiles, a black ceiling with diminutive chandeliers and lights; my hunger bug has left Boulder City. The few times that I have dined here the service has been satisfactory. The employees have greeted me with a smile and McPleasing attitude. When I finished up my light meal it was appropriate to leave the Boulder City McDonald's with 3.5 stars. The charming bronze statues that created a good vibe upon entering the Boulder City McDonald's were worthy of an additional half star. I get it--you're the last Mickey-D's before reaching the world-famous Hoover Dam--if someone simply MUST have a pre-dam Bic Mac, they have no other choice. With that as a given, your prices are stratospheric compared to other franchises. Everyone knows, a Big Mac is a Big Mac wherever you are. But pricing your food at "Tourist Trap" levels ensures locals simply cannot and will not patronize your restaurant. I'm guessing you're fine with that--which is sad. read more

This is got to be the worst McDonald's there is. Ordered in the app, my hand hit something and made it pick up inside. I go to the empty drive-through. Tell them my number, they say you have to come inside and pick it up. I asked, can't you just hand it to me they say "Nope". I go inside to pick it up, everybody hides, no receipt to call the number, the furniture is thrown in the bag with the box not even closed. I've had several issues with this place before. I have been to 27 different countries, and every state in this country, and this is by far the most expensive McDonald's I have ever been to. The prices are outrageous....and they don't even give you a receipt unless you ask for it. If you must have McDonald's, then just take the 10 minute trip to Henderson, and there are many there that will be priced significantly less. If you don't want to make the drive to Henderson, then there are several other fast food places in Boulder City, that are priced reasonably. Bottom line is, avoid this McDonald's at all cost...they are just price gouging people. read more

This is a horrible establishment. Definitely a tourist gouge, with everything ridiculously overpriced. For example, their Big Mac alone is $5.69, fries $3.69, and the meal is $9.99! Just up the road in Henderson, the meal is $6.99, the burger alone just $4.59, fries $2.49. So, they charge you $3.00 more for the same indifferent-to-surly employees, dried out patties, and limp heat lamp fries. To be fair, everything is a little more expensive because of the location, but there is no excuse for that much money-grubbing. Certainly no justification, and they don't even pay the robotic burger flippers and bag stuffers $15 an hour. In fact, robots might improve things. But really, there are so many fast-casual food places in Boulder City, there is no reason to go to McDonald's other than out of habit or corporate branding. A family can get more for less just three minutes in any direction from there. Run far, run fast, and never look back. read more
