But into it thinking it was part of the drink...

Have always gone here in the past cause it's next to the house, but I'm not sure if I'll go back. I found glass in my drink when I took my first sip

Pretty new Starbucks. We tried this location during their 50% off iced drink Tuesday and been back each Tuesday. Luckily, this place is either not busy or they work pretty fast because it's never a long wait. Service is terrific. Every single person who had waited on us have been nice and never rushed us for our orders, cuz at times, we don't know what we want. Definitely will continue to come back.

New starbucks we discovered yay for closer location! This location is way closer to home and stays open a little later then most. We've came a couple times now and every time staff has been very friendly and they work fast so no crazy long waits. Recently came and they had a Halloween theme drink "witchs brew " and it was delicious definitely give it a try if your near the area. The place itself is clean and well kept thank you for the great service see you again soon!

Ready to start the day w my cold brew in hand !!! Thanks order ahead !!!

They are so nice, so efficient and friendly and always make a delicious caffeinated treat!! It's very clean in there despite the high level of foot traffic ! I frequent the Venue as it's perfect location is ideal for my am commute!! It's always suuuuuper busy and the people are hustling but they still work efficiently and are really kind and helpful. I love this location and have had wonderful experiences. Even at times when I didn't love my drink -- they immediately made me a new one with no questions asked and I hardly had to wait. Great spot !!! I will continue to hit it up frequently!!!

Yes there may be Starbucks on every corner but they are not all the same. I got a pumpkin loaf and Carmel macchiato and after some trouble with my rewards they kindly took care of it for me. The place was rather busy at 7 am but I got in and out quickly from inside. My drink was just ok, the loaf was very tasty, all in all I would come back to this location for another try.

I ordered starbucks for my girlfriend and I. Service was fine but they gave us a drink that wasn't full. Smh!

Their coffees and pastry are very good, wide variety of both. What can I say, Starbucks is Starbucks. Wish they were less expensive.

From Ube Ensaymada to a Turon Brulee Latte, they have it all and more. Plenty of seating and definitely the right vibes for a productive study sesh. Brandon and John were so kind and helpful when ordering, guiding us through their menu and pastry options. They truly brought the meaning of "kapamilya" so shoutout to them!! We ended up ordering a Pizza Croissant and Pistachio Banana Bread, which were both delicious! The Pizza Croissant was just the right amount of savory, which contrasted nicely with the nutty and sweet flavor of the Pistachio Banana Bread. We also ordered a classic Ensaymada, which is this fluffy bread with a light cream on top! Get it warmed, and it is SOOOO good to pair with your coffee. As for our drinks, we ordered a Ferrero Latte, a Pistachio Latte, and a Flat White. The Flat White really showcased the quality of their beans, which was only enhanced in the lattes. The Ferrero was silky smooth, and honestly tasted like a melted Ferrero Rocher. The Pistachio was nutty and subtle, which complemented the Ferrero greatly. If you want a taste of that Filipino warmth, definitely stop by Middle Black Sheep! We definitely plan on coming back to try the rest of the menu, and so should you.

So they have a sign up that says if you give them 5 stars on Yelp and show them the review within 3…read moredays, they will give you a free coffee. But I have been here three times and every time I have tried to order, it took SO DAMN LONG to get my coffee, that I just can't in good faith, leave a 5 star review. Every time I have gone in, there's one person doing everything, taking the orders, making food and making coffees. That's certainly not fair to your staff for one, who probably don't make much money and it's STRESSFUL when you're working as fast as you can, but people are waiting who haven't had their coffee. I spent 25 minutes waiting the first time and almost 40 minutes the second time (40 minutes!!!) and the last time I walked in, saw a packed cafe and NO ONE had coffee in front of them - so I just walked out. The coffee was just okay too, it wasn't hot enough the second time I went and my friends coffee had the wrong milk in it and she couldn't drink it. You can be 2 of these things to be successful: if your coffee is expensive, you need fast service and delicious coffee. You can have slow service, but it needs to be well priced and tasty. But you CANNOT have high prices, mediocre coffee AND slow service. This explains the 'give us a 5* review and show us' trick they need to do, because otherwise people like myself aren't going to go back. There are so many other great coffee places around - if you're in a rush don't go here. The atomosphere is too quiet too, you can hear everyones conversation if anyone is having a conversation. There's no music/background lofi on or anything and it's a TINY cafe. It's a little uncomfortable actually, although it does look beautiful and whimsical and cute. I can't speak on the food, I never got to try and and based on my previous experiences - I won't be either.

We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.

We learned they also have a sister restaurant - Le Cafe du Sud in Southern Highlands. This is a counter service establishment - you get in line to order and pay and get our number and find a seat. There is a lot of menu items and ready made pastries so your eyes will have to move quickly to decide on your final order. There are plenty of seats indoors and out, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And water is self service as well. * Raclette Galette $15.99 - This gluten-free buckwheat crepe is served with raclette cheese, sunny side up egg, potatoes, bacon and ham. I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. It was good. * Melba Crepe $13.99 - It's a sweet crepe that's topped with poached peach, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream. It's simple and exactly as described. * Mini Lobster Rolls $18.99 - The lobster meat is mixed with celery, chives, and mayo and served on a butter toasted brioche buns. These are indeed mini rolls, so you may be hungry after eating them. Service - there really isn't too much to talk about as you order at the register and have minimal contact with the staff beyond them bringing the order to your table. I had to bring my plate to the staff member when I had the issue. I do appreciate their desire to fix my order though. Overall, Le Cafe du Val was just an okay experience for us. The food didn't stand out for us in the way that we hoped.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
