It's hard to know how to feel about this McDonald's because the lobby may or may not be closed (I only observed drive thru traffic). It's hard to judge without knowing the literal size of their work. As for drive thru though, it does okay. They're really on the ball so not too much time to read the menu, but they're pretty quick with getting the food done. There are plenty of places to park to distribute and check your order in the car. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. My boyfriend and I stopped in to grab something on our way home after a long day of skiing. We ordered at the kiosks and wanted to pay cash so we took our receipts and waited at the register. Only a few cars in the drive thru and two people inside. We noted there were only two workers so we figured we'd be waiting a bit. Neither of the employees acknowledged us; which at first, was fine. I'm a waitress at a busy restaurant, sometimes you get behind. No big deal. They cleared out the two orders of the people waiting inside and focused on the drive thru. My boyfriend tried to get their attention so we could pay; totally ignored. One of the employees ran an order outside so when she came back in, I politely asked if we could pay for our food. She looked at me and says, What? So I repeated myself, she rolls her eyes, huffs and yells, "You're gonna have to wait, we're really busy and it's just the two of us." To which I replied, as she's walking away, "We understand, but we've standing here for 10 minutes and no one has even acknowledged us..." We ended up leaving because that left a bad taste in my mouth. I totally understand being short-staffed and in the weeds; but you can't treat customers like that. Unacceptable. read more

Placed an order for breakfast meal and 2 drinks. 2 people ordered ahead of me. Waited 25 minutes for the food. Needed to wait an additional 10 minutes for coffee. Longest waiting time ever at a McDonald's. They definitely prioritize drive through so we recommend that next time read more

I recently moved to the area and this McDonald's happens to be just 3 minutes away from my new job and so I've ordered lunch from here the past 2 days. I got my food via curbside pick up both times and my food was brought to my car both times within roughly 5 minutes, I should also mention this was during lunch rush too, from 12-1pm. The lady who brought my food out was extremely nice, addressed me by my name and had excellent customer service. The fries were hot and very crispy, which is not the quality I usually get when I go to McDonald's, usually the fries are soggy and lukewarm. The McChicken and nuggets turned out fine as well. Not sure why other people have had very negative experiences from reading the reviews, perhaps I haven't gone to this McDonalds enough times to see the ugly side, or perhaps they've had a recent crew staff change? I don't know, but from my 2 visits so far, I've had a very pleasant experience and I'll continue to come back until I have a bad experience to the caliber that other people are describing in their reviews. I don't know the name of the lady who delivered my curbside order but keep doing what you're doing and I appreciate the great customer service! read more

Honestly, kind of a lousy McDonald's. The prices seem high. The service odd, I heard some complaint about a shirt to an employee while getting a drink. The most annoying thing is that I can't see most of the menu including the dollar menu and two for three deal with the menu boards. I will stop here again after retreats because it makes sense, but it's a very odd McDonald's that could use improvements. And maybe just a traditional menu without like advertisements of things on it. There are five screens. The right two stay the same, but the left three are very odd and annoying. Very Disappointing. New modern McDonald's however ordered a large order was incredibly inconvenient on the electronic ordering board. When I asked to have them take my order they refused saying they would get in trouble with management. When I said by I am the customer they refused again. There were no lines and no one at the kiosk. Go through the drive through and then go inside if you are in a rush and have a large order. Very very annoying process. read more

Driving through this rural area late at night, we decided to stop for coffee. Spotting signs for both Dunkin and McDonald's, the clown won. Service was amazingly friendly here, which was unexpected. The attendant introduced himself by name (!); he was fast, very courteous, and most impressively, he seemed completely genuine. Not to mention he executed our order perfectly. If someone treats you like you're buying a gourmet frappu-latte-mocha-choco-whip for $12, but you're really just spending $1.07 on a plain ol' cuppa joe, that person and establishment is aces in my book. read more

It is what it is, you get what you get. Sub-par customer service, not the best wait times, and the food is mid grade for a McDonald's. Not bad enough for you to skip a meal here if you get a hankering for Mickey Dees, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary because this is about as run of the mill as you can get when it comes to the Chain. While I don't eat here much anymore, back in the day I sure did love that Dollar Menu.

My friends, wife, daughter and I stopped to rest after riding for over an hour in 90 degree weather at the Canaan CT McDonalds. We needed to use the restrooms possibly get something to drink. There was very loud death metal music playing in the bathrooms. It was so loud it was giving me the creeps. No inside customers due to COVIT-19 so it was just the employees and the manager. Barely any drive thru customers. I asked for the manager saying that the music was too loud in the bathrooms and can it be turned down. The manager was more concern with hearing the music, going on and on about his staff and he needed to hear the music. I walked away towards the door and the manager followed me out side continuing talking. Getting louder and louder. At that point I stopped listening. He started yelling at my family, friends and I. I smiled and waved back to him in hoping to defuse the situation. That seemed to fuel him even more. Everyone with me stood in the parking lot and stared back at him not knowing what caused his outrage at us. None of us said anymore to this guy and just stared at him. Then he tells us that he is the owner and to get off his property. He proceeded to call 911. I wouldn't go there again. How does this place stay in business with that kind of poor customer service? Every experience I have ever had at this McDonalds locations has been abismal at best. Each time you go, they either have forgotten something or will charge you for it and make you wait five minutes before telling you they don't have what you ordered. It might be okay if they apologized, but even that is beyond their comprehension. I challenge anyone to come here and not have them screw up your order. Our visit started out by wading through a group of employees smoking right outside the door to the restaurant. They stared at us as we went by, and there wasn't a friendly face to be had. Next I trekked to the restroom, only to find the lock broken on the regular stall, forcing me to use the handicapped stall; and that stall was in filthy standing water with pieces of soaked trash all over the floor.
