Honestly this McDonald's is lucky I can't give zero stars, or I'd do it in a heartbeat. I can't count how many times I've had missing food, or my orders are just incorrect. I don't even get that much, but when you get 4 items and one is missing almost consistently, you need to think that something must be wrong. The amount of money I've sunk into food I will never see is insane, I could probably take a group of 2nd graders to Chuck E Cheese and get them a pizza too. I cannot believe yet another order from this McDonalds that was sub par. I bought eight McDoubles and waited over 15 minutes for the order which was never brought to my car but only given to me once I entered the restaurant. It showed order finished, which was ready for pick up, but when I went there, they asked me to wait. This has to be the most disappointing, dirty, poorly staffed fast food establishment that I have ever attended. I have been here on multiple occasions, and have always left severely unsatisfied. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but I have given this McDonald's too many chances. Very rarely do they give you the correct order. They charge you for extra sauce when you only ask for 1 (then they do not give you even that). Horrible attitudes on the staff (eye rolling, bad language, basically throwing the bag of food through the car window). I have been charged extra for things I did not order/receive at the window. This McDonald's is placed so conveniently placed that I can't keep myself from going there sometimes for things like their honey mustard snack wrap or their $1 soft serve cones. I was tempted toward their iced coffee (it's a dollar for a medium, and at Penn Station in NYC, they make it pretty well so I was like yesssss!) but of course, it tasted like simple sugar syrup (I bake a lot, which is how I know--not because I'm a sugar fiend hoping for diabetes) with super diluted coffee. Gross. Their cones are actually a pretty good deal--that is, if their ice cream machine ever works. Awful drive thru service. I visited this location for breakfast and (after sitting at the drive thru screen for 10 minutes) ordered a number 5 with no bacon and a hot chocolate with skim milk. The screen displayed a number 5 and a hot chocolate with two splenda. I tried to clarify that there should be no bacon on the number 5 and that I hadn't ordered splenda in my hot chocolate but the employee had already stopped listening and sent my order through without a word. We then pulled up to the first window where we sat for a few minutes, but when nobody appeared we pulled forward to the second window. At the second window the employee asked why we hadn't payed at the first window... He was then surprised when I asked him to repeat my order and told him that I had ordered no bacon. He promptly got me a new breakfast sandwich with no bacon, but was in such a rush to move us along that I didn't bother trying to fix my hot chocolate. read more

This is one of the better McDonald's I have visited in the Cincinnati Area. Being a UC student, I come here fairly often. The drive-thru line can be a little slow when they're busy, but the staff is always very nice and friendly. My order is always right and tastes how it should. I've only been inside once. They were very busy, but a friendly woman took my order and I got my food in a reasonable time. Only complaint is the dining room was not the cleanest. Overall, pretty good for a McDonald's. read more

That was a truly remarkable experience. There were only three cars in front of me when I pulled into the drive through and it took me 30 mins to get my food. Let me start from the beginning. The four of us, now sharing an unspoken sense of camaraderie, along with the growing assembly of patrons behind me, sat idly for more than 10 minutes to order with no sign of a line at the windows in front of us. I cannot explain why I waited so long, particularly since my appetite waned by the minute, but I think I really just wanted to see this apparently bizarre situation play out. I pulled up to the ordering screen not sure what would happen next. My confusion grew as what more closely resembled animal calls from Planet Earth than human vocalizations confronted me through the speaker. I guess I could order when ready? I was ready. I intended to order two items. TWO. It took me no fewer than four tries before I gave up on trying to get the size of fries corrected. At the window, I wasn't even greeted with a trite, "sorry for your wait"- just a garbled, unintelligible ramble of syllables. This employee must have been under the influence of something powerfully altering because if that was her cognitive baseline she would not have been able to get dressed for her shift, much less navigate her way to her place of "employment". I didn't feel comfortable handing her my card and fortunately I was able to scrounge together enough change to cover my bill. In hindsight, I probably could have handed her anything shiny and she would have accepted it as payment. It would have been the prudent thing to check my bag at the second window to make sure the order was correct, but in this instance, checking seemed beyond futile. read more

I have been to this McDonald's location several times because it is the closest to UC's campus, and it has never been good. I am confident in saying that this is the slowest restaurant I have ever been to. The issue appears to stem from apathetic management, because the employees have no interest in doing their job, let alone doing it well. If you go to the drive thru here always expect it to take 2 to 3 times as long as a normal drive thru experience. You will honestly save time by driving a little farther for another McDonald's because this location is horribly slow. read more
