Extremely rude. Told manager restroom needed attention with no response. He turned away without a word. He came around the counter and started laughing and giggling with a young female employee. He didn't even check the restroom. Starts with leadership from management. Someone needs to clean house and rebuild this entire staff. It is hard to find good help but it can be done. read more

I've been to this McDonald's a few times and each time has been pleasant. It can get busy around lunch and dinner time but I think they do a good job on keeping it moving. Literally such a sad experience.... I was doordashing and a very kind homeless man approached me and asked if I would buy him a meal. I of course said yes and asked the cashier if I could purchase food along with what I was doordashing. When I asked that, the cashier looked so reluctant and then when she told the rest of the crew they also looked annoyed as well... even though I was paying for the food and not even asking for free food. This is the worlds worst McDonald's. I go to CSU so unfortunately this is the closest McDonald's and unfortunately I really like the their $1 Carmel iced coffee and get it everyday. I've had some of the worst encounters with the workers here than I ever have anywhere else. For going here every single day, I have problems with these employees 9/10 times that I go. These employees are the scum of Cleveland and have absolutely no work ethic. All very unprofessional and very stupid. They can make a drive thru line of 5 cars take 30+ minutes to get them all through. If the lobby isn't open, I always expect to be in the drive thru line for at least 20 minutes, and it usually actually exceeds that. They do this thing at nighttime where they take one cars order and then get that person through the line, and THEN take the next persons order and get that person through the line, which makes things go VERY slow. Also, don't mobile order there if you don't wanna get out of your car, because you will have to every time! Every time I have mobile ordered for curbside pick up, I wait about 20 minutes and when I still haven't gotten my food, I go inside. I go inside to figure out that they completely skipped over my order! So i ask the manager where my order is, and she says "I ain't see no order" and I had to argue with these stupid people until another employee scrolled through the orders and found mine, and found that they had skipped over it. When I got my food you sure as hell know I told them they're all dumb as fuck, (which I've done before). But this scenario has happened more than once which is what's crazy!!!! They'll also let you sit through a whole line, order, pay and then get to the pick up window to tell you whatever you ordered's machine "isn't working", like thanks for wasting my time. Never again. I went to this Mc Donald's hoping to get "fast food" for breakfast I only ordered an egg white delight and a fruit parfait. I paid and was given half my order at the window with a receipt and then they requested my receipt back and asked me to pull forward for the rest of my order I waited 15 minutes before someone came to my window with the wrong order and then said oh I forgot you were out here they went back in and brought out The egg white delight which was cold by that time. Not sure why it took so long and so many attempt to get 2 items together but I saw at least 10 people get their food before I got mine. Of course I was late to work by this time. read more

This is literally the slowest McDonald's I have EVER been to. Three cars in front of me and I waited over 30 minutes just to get to the speaker where I waited another 10 minutes. Finally someone came on to take my order and was literally shouting so loud I jumped in my seat. Also was interrupted no less than 3 times while just trying to order some nuggets and a tea. Went to this McD's on way to Cleveland Clinic to visit FIL. He wanted a hot fudge sundae. Pulled in after 8 pm, dark out but no exterior lights on signage or at the drive-thru. We get up to the drive-thru and there is a sign taped to the speaker that says their drink machine is broken so no beverages. We order a sundae and are told that the ice cream dispenser is also broken. Seriously? First and last time at this location. read more

It's a McD's, so it's fast food. What do you expect? The reason for the one star is service. This morning I pulled up to the window ordering a bacon egg and cheese bagel. A sandwich that's a pretty popular seller. I was asked to pull forward and they would bring it out to me. Standard procedure that's fine. So I pulled up to the spot and was listening my podcast. As I listen to my podcast I saw eight cars call behind me and leave. After sitting for five minutes I turned off my car and wanted to see what the problem was. I went in and told the girl at the counter that I've been waiting for five minutes for a sandwich. My suspicions were correct, I had been forgotten. The manager seemed a little put off with my frustration. After I reiterated to her that I had been waiting five minutes for a sandwich that many people have gotten after me she merely gave me an apple pie. An actual apology that sounded believable would've been appreciated much more. read more

I like McDonald's every once in awhile. There. I said it. Never come to this McDonald's if you're hungry, in a good mood, or expect to be met with kindness. Our order was simple, but we had to repeat it multiple times in response to "Whaaa?" coming from the order box. Then, when the voice from the box repeated our order, it was wrong! Then, when we went to the pay window, they asked if our order was correct and it absolutely wasn't! Then, when we went to the food window, we asked for ketchup and were told it was in the bag. We dug in, found no ketchup but a TON of salt packets. Luckily, my boyfriend is a ketchup hoarder, so we had a bunch of little packets on hand. Overall, the debacle started off comically difficult and ended up disappointing and a bit enraging. Mostly, I was mad because we were lied to! The ketchup was a lie!! Now, I can't lie. It must be the smartest brightest in town to get a burger and a drink if you're going to the drive-through make sure your plan extra time to get to your next destination. If you're trying to do a mobile order that's even worse think they forget about you I don't even know you're there. Don't even bother trying you're better off going to rally's next-door sometimes they have better fries and better burgers anyway depending on what you're getting or drive to the next closest McDonald's and you're probably be better off and faster for it. If I could give one star I would. On top of the slowest service ever, the employees are beyond rude. The lady working the cash register asked me if I had the change because she didn't have it in her drawer and instead of going and getting change from a manager she just shut her register. I don't go to this McDonald's often... But the last couple times I did, The drive-through took forever. They are the slowest people I have ever experienced in a fast food place. There were only four people in line ahead of me and it took 20 minutes. The inside is closed at this time and just the drive-through is open so there should not be a delay. This is a busy location on Carnegie, near a neighborhood that is not the greatest. That being said, the service is usually great going through the drive through. Wait times are usually appropriate to the length of the line. Food is well prepared, and servers are friendly. Not a big fan of McD's, but this is a good location. read more

Literally, the world's worst McDonald's- they were slow, when multiple workers were sitting on their phones,The restrooms were pungent of marijuana, and the workers I came in contact with were rude. They were closing soon and I ordered three items off of the dollar menu as I am a broke college student. I paid with the only twenty dollars I had, and to my surprise, I got none of my change back. When I realized the tragic mistake, it was too late to go back due to the fact that they were closed. I proceeded to call to them, and was answered by an extremely rude worker. They put the phone down and talked amongst each other about how I needed to wait and how there is no possible way they shorted me money, even though they could have looked on their cameras and witnessed the mistake firsthand. She picked up the phone and said, "call back in fifteen minutes" which i thought was weird because i felt like they should been calling me back or putting me on hold, she then told me that they, "had to count the drawer". I called back at approximately 15 minutes later, and to no avail, I did not receive my money back. The same woman told me "the drawer was not short or over" in a rudely manor. She then abruptly said "bye." and quickly hung up the phone. To make a long story shorter, do NOT go to this mc Donald's they will take your money and your sanity. They do not care about customers and they do not care if they make you angry because they're blatantly rude. I honestly would give them negative stars if I could. Stopped at this location for a steak mcmuffin,the menu said that the cost was $3.59. Cashier told me that the cost was 3.89.Asked for the manager, she also was not very pleasant. I just suggested that this should be changed even though this was only a small difference. Overall this was a very unpleasant experience and I will never go back to this location. I don't know when or what time the other people came in that rated this McDonald's, but obvious it was during rush hour. My concern is not the color of the decor or power plugs; my concern is service, promptness, quality of my food, hot coffee and a friendly smile. This McDonald's has all of this, from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the service is superb, the young ladies on the drive thru are so pleasant, the food and coffee is always hot even after I make it to work I don't have to reheat.
