I was in the area near the town of Coalinga and dropped in on an early Saturday morning. It was an odd experience that ended up with not receiving the correct items and me preempting a stranger from taking my order. First of all, like all McDs, this one is no exception that they prefer the customers to order and pay using the self help kiosk. I begrudgingly used the kiosk. I ordered two combo breakfasts but Instead of a McMuffin breakfast combo which I paid for and was printed on the order which was taped to the bag; I got the breakfast burritos combo instead. Plus it's easy for folks to swipe your order. The staff shouts out the order number and leave the bag on the counter; and walk away. They don't check receipts. One fella grabbed my bag and I had to grab it back from him. Never mind the pickup ordering monitor's screen showed only one number at the moment, and it matched my receipt. He had no receipt. I'm not digging the self policing. Plus the dining room oddly already had a multitude of dirty table tops for being 9:30am. Possibly they were short staffed.

Came just in time for the Pokémon Card collab, and got three happy meals with two drinks for the road. Staff were super nice and the wait always really short.

Had breakfast here with my husband and daughter Serving was pretty fast but restroom was bit dirty. This McDonalds is fine overall.

This was the worst mcdonalds I believe I've ever visited. It was dirty, the kiosk was incredibly slow, and the employees took way too long to even acknowledge there being a customer at the counter, not to mention the attitude they gave after finally pausing to see what the problem was. The food wasn't great either, my hashbrowns tasted burnt and I heard other customers complaining about their food as well, perhaps the oils need to be changed. The tables were all dirty and nobody was cleaning the entire time we were there. There were so many flies, it was disgusting. I've never had a foamy smoothie either, not sure why it came out like that. If I ever decide to stop by here again, it would be because all the other food options nearby are closed and I can't wait the 35 minutes to the next food stop. They wouldn't fix their receipt printers either so we can't even leave a bad review with the QR code, because there's a big white strip down the middle of it.

Stopped by on Monday, 01/01/24 for the first time. Needed a restroom break and found this convenient pit spot. We were hungry as well and ordered the following (dined in): - 2 McChickens (buy one get one for $1) = $3.39 + $1 - 1 large french fries = $5.49 - 1 4-piece McNuggets = $2.69 SUBTOTAL = $12.57 TAX = $1 TAKE OUT TOTAL = $13.57 You would have to order via the big-screen kiosk instead of up front.

Not sure why this store is still open. The rating is horrible. The food is horrible. I literally haven't had a worse McDonalds in my life. Yall won! Serving a Big Mac this way is an abomination. I wish I would've checked the reviews before wasting my time.

While waiting to order, this clearly grumpy older man went to the counter and in a raised tone said he ordered a sausage McMuffin but received an egg McMuffin.

I was seated in the bar area (no choice offered), which was odd as this was mid-week and the place was far from crowded. I was attended quickly and placed an order for a Tanqueray martini. It arrived well mixed. I decided on a porterhouse after confirming with my waiter that the filet would not resemble a t-bone, but be a full filet as a porterhouse should. The steak was cooked properly, salad and sides fresh and delicious. I took off a star because my waiter gave up on me. He had checked in several times (I eat really slow these days and it was a lot of food) and the last time offered to bring me a box. I was ready to order dessert, but after a full ten minutes of an invisible waiter, I went to the hostess and offered to pay. She said she would send my waiter to my table. So, back to my table I went and waited some more. By the time he arrived, I was very unhappy. I had planned on coffee and dessert. But ended up going to the gas station next door and picking up some canned espresso and cream. Walking to my car, was an olfactory assault. If you've ever driven past Harris Ranch and the miles of cows standing under the shade structures in their own feces, you have a mild sense of what I experienced. But this was so much worse. My eyes began to water as I imagined I was walking through the feed lots. The stench of urine and cow crap was obnoxious. Some way to end an otherwise good meal. Between the service and the outdoor aroma, I doubt I'll return.

We had read that they accommodated a lot of RVs and people with U-Haul's, etc., so felt safe staying there for the night. Checked in about 9 PM. Everybody was super helpful. We have our cats with us so we were a little stressed out about how it was going to be, but they made sure that we were comfortable and we were in a really nice, large and clean room. I did think that the property is a little bit dated. They've done a good job with upkeep. The only issue I really had was that when I got out of my car there was a very strong animal smell. I asked at the front desk with that smell was, and they said that it was fertilizer that they applied to the fields that night. It was intense. We got up and we're back on the road by 5 AM. Unfortunately we did not get to try the restaurant although I heard that their steakhouse is excellent. Also, the pool looked really beautiful and clean.

One of the coolest parts was seeing meats being smoked outside. It adds to the experience and lets you know they're serious about their meat. Restaurant Review:…read more Service is not great. It took us about 15 mins to get water from another person (not our waitress) and a total of 20 mins to get our order taken. We were not in a hurry but our section we saw others seated after in a different section and they got their food more smoothly. The section had larger tables but more communication from the person handling our table would have gone a long wait. From the point being seated, it took an hour to get our meal. We got no dinners rolls and our soup came with our meal. At the point of ordering we asked if the soup could be up-charged from cup to bowl and we were told yes. They instead charge us full price of a bowl instead of it being an up-charge (4 dollars vs 10). This should have been upfront and communicated. Disappointing experience and lot of the staffers were just chit chatting by the coffee station. Food for two adults and kids over 100 dollars was not worth it. We will not be returning. This is not the first time this experience has happened.

I called about 20 minutes before we arrived and was able to skip the ordering line and go straight to the cashier. Our food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Definitely a good tip if you're stopping here. We each got a half-pound of brisket with mac and cheese for $18.99. The brisket was okay, but honestly, I expected more from Harris. I actually prefer Armadillo Willy's. Remember to ask for BBQ sauce as they don't give it to you automatically. The mac and cheese was worse than the blue box kind It tasted more like survival food. But the other sides didn't look very good either, and I need some kind of carb with my meat, so I guess you pick your poison. The biggest issue for us was the heat. It was like sitting in an oven. Even with the shade and misters going, it was still so hot that we only managed about eight bites before calling it quits. For about $20 a person, it's not a bad deal for brisket, especially from a gas station. But would I stop here again? Probably not. I just want to be able to enjoy my lunch without being slow-cooked too.

The room went from packed to empty with more people coming in from outside & we still weren't seated. When we finally did get seated, our server, Isaiah was amazing. He answered all our questions & had great recommendations. As I've already said, this was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Every bite of the filet mignon was delicious & I got it with the scalloped potatoes to accompany. My boyfriend got the prime rib & loaded potato. He loved it. At the end they brought me out a piece of chocolate mousse cake which was amazing. I made my boyfriend sing happy birthday to me. This place is so completely adorable. I was obsessed with the rounded windows in the area behind my boyfriend & the brick. So. Cute. I would definitely go back here, just maybe not be as excited to do so.
