The chef or the culinary staff is expert on steak grilling. The crust of Filet mignon tastes caramel crunch. The inner of Filet mignon is perfectly soft tender. When you bite it, you still can feel the texture but not raw. It is warm and flavored tender. We enjoyed our dinner at regular restaurant. They also have the high end restaurant in the same building which combine with a classic drink bar.(adult only) if you would like to have a full experience of the premium steak paired with wine. Judging by the menu it was obvious that the menu has been revised to highlight their more expensive selections. For that matter, ALL of their selections, I believe, can be called expensive. Our meals were delicious. My wife selected the filet mignon with soup (clam chowder). I selected the rib eye steak with garden salad. All delicious. Steaks were tender, and although I could not identify mine as a rib eye, it was delicious nonetheless the less. The portions were generous- about half of each of our meals went home with us. The only negative on the meal was my coffee. I like strong black coffee. This coffee was so strong, and quite bitter also, that I asked for,and graciously received, a cup of hot water to dilute it. Even so. It still was barely drinkable and I didn't finish one cup. Not wanting to hurt the moment, I said no more about it. The service was good and sufficient. The ambiance makes one feel that they are in somewhere special. The return soon feeling was not there, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Especially wanna shout out to how clean the room and bed and bathroom were during our stay. The cleaning crew does an awesome job! The showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser. (The conditioner was out, must be really good) There was complementary breakfast served from 5 AM to 9 AM. There were limited amount of options, but that is the least in my opinion. Overall, friendly service and just a great stay. I love Best Western.

However, in all fairness, if this hotel were compared to similar hotels in larger cities, it would probably be nothing special. The hotel is neat and clean and nicely appointed. There is a bar in the lobby, which is something I have not seen before at a Best Western. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is fairly typical of what you'll probably get at most other comparable Best Westerns.

They had some cute little benches to hang out on, but not something we would use. I would rather sit in my a/c in the car than sit in direct sunlight.

The room was recently remodeled and looked surprisingly clean and modern. It is a Motel 6 still though and that brings some baggage. A cattle facility I've called Cowshwitz because it is such an unhappy looking place is nearby / almost across the freeway which might explain the dust and odor levels people complain about. After a rain tho, I had no problems. If it's you and a buddy or travel with spouse finding you quite can't make it all the way on your trip and sleeping at a rest stop is not an option, I'd have no trouble booking a stay here. It's pretty basic - no fridge or microwave in room and the heating / AC is not ideal. I got my son from school and we stopped here - no problems but we didn't linger.

The bedding was clean and smelled good I was moderately happy with it. I decided to go out even though I was tired I ended up at a small sports bar called Pit Stop. I met 2 girls who were dressed up for Halloween we talked I bought them a couple drinks and we decided to go back to my room. We had a crazy cocaine filled threesome and partied all night. In the morning we left to get breakfast, the room was pretty trashed. I came back to the room a little while later to find the room completely spotless, cleaned and smelling good beside a couple bumps left on the counter. 5 stars for staff professionalism and courtesy. I thought I was out of coke, boy did I get a surprise. I definitely recommend staying here if you're passing through.
