This place was so unique. It was like no other. The fries had the crispness of a scrambled buffalo but yet the softness of a stale squirrel. The ice cream machine was broken but they let me fix it. I used my skills as a rocket engineer to make the ice cream liquify all possible enemies. I then had a hamburger that tasted like your normal hamburger with the best lettuce on the side. It was so fresh even though it was frozen before it still had the valuable taste. That to was made into a weapon that I used to cut into ninja stars. Overall would come back to this Taco Bell and get the ham sandwich. It turns out I actually never went to the McDonalds drive thru I was at my house the whole entire time. Screw this McDonald's! I ordered a large fry at the drive thru and when I get home and look in the bag, the container is barely 3/4 full. This McDonald's is notorious for this! This has happened to me several times going through the drive thru, and every time I keep telling myself "I'm never going back there again" only to find myself giving them another shot and getting shafted AGAIN! Every time ive stopped at this location past 12pm they dont accept card only cash. Why is this a thing? Not once, not twice, not three times but over 5 times ive been to this location at this time and its the same excuses. I personally dont tend to carry cash and from my own personal experience a lot of people use card as well. We had a terrible experience at Clayton Rd. McDonald's this evening. The girl at the window was absolutely losing her mind. She was throwing cups, taking rude to me and other employees and threatening to walk out. I asked for the manager and she told me "too bad they were busy." After insisting I see a manager, the girl at the window called a very young girl over and she was just as rude. Blue, the manager, was no help she just rolled her eyes and said so what do you want me to do . It looks like they just throw a bunch of untrained teens on this shift and hope for the best. Not a good situation for people handling your food. They apparently don't read Google or Yelp reviews or they would realize they have a problem here. This mcdonalds is usually good but today I ordered an Iced vanilla coffee. The lady taking my order repeated back iced caramel machiato. And I said no, iced vanilla coffee. She seemed to understand. I proceed to pay and go to the window to pick up my drink. The lady asked what was my drink, so I said iced vanilla coffee. She then proceeds to give me a drink which looked just like an iced vanilla coffee but I asked anyways if it was and she said it was an iced vanilla coffee. I drove off and it turns out she handed me an iced CARAMEL coffee. smh. bruh. I give the rating 3 stars because I never had any real issue before and honestly I will probably continue to come here because it is the closest mcdonalds to me and I dont want beef with the employees. read more

I was on my bike during the Coronavirus where the inside was closed off. I went to the drive thru to grab some lunch and they denied me service simply because I was on a bike. They told me to use the app but as I was a bike I couldn't use my debit card. Sad that I was denied service just because of my bike. read more

This places credit card reader never works at night on drive thru, it's "cash only?" Why bother?

I was currently working with this company just two weeks ago when I learned that the management sucked and that the managers were extremely rude when it came to employees having other jobs. There were also times where employees would call this locations phone to speak with a manger regarding a day off or an emergency, and the store employees or managers would just let the phone ring to the point of where you would have to call on another phone for them to answer. I highly suggest that if you are looking a job to not apply at this location because of the highly amount of disrespect and lack of customer service professional skills they provide throughout the company. I believe that something needs to be done and everyone needs better training on customer service. I am begging for the corporate office to come into these fast food restaurants and train every employee plus it's managers on respect and how to run a better fast food chain! read more

This pertains to the drive-thru lanes.. After remodeling this whole Micky D's, you'd expect to see changes from customer service to maybe even food but never for their drive-thru. It is still a complete mess from when it was before it was remodeled and they now have two lanes! Lanes are still as chaotic as ever and folks working the drive-thru need to learn to move quicker. Now instead of waiting in these lanes, I've decided to now walk my lazy ass inside because surprisingly it's way more faster and easier than drive-thru!! read more

They often get it wrong! The food is fine and the wait time isnt too bad. That part has improved. But the I wish they would pay more attention to the orders. I come to this McDonald's often since it's close. I was inside the dining area. I heard employees in the kitchen shouting EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Not a good sign. Then I saw a young male employee throwing a large cardboard box over the cashier area, almost hitting a customer. This was Monday 5/23 7:30pm. Not a good sign. This McDonalds is newly remodeled which makes it a cut above the average McDonalds. The drive thru usually moves swiftly and when it doesn't it's most often the fault of people who can't figure out how to deal with there being two order lanes that merge. I admit it makes me laugh when somebody insists upon cutting ahead of the person who has already ordered in the other lane and then becomes furious when the window people don't give them the right order. Yeah, that's your fault hot rod. The play area is nice because it's new so there is no layer of grossness built up yet. It is unnaturally cold in the play place and there are only 3 very small tables which is a bit of a problem and you need to make sure you vacate your table as soon as you're done eating so people with food can have a spot. There are benches along the window for not currently eating patrons. Here is the one thing I must say and it's the reason for only 3 stars (I'd give them 4 otherwise). I have no proof but upon moving to Concord I've had to cancel my debit card 4 times (in 6 months) because the card number has been stolen. In the previous however many years of having a debit card I use everywhere (I don't know how many years, a lot) I've had to cancel my card once for that reason. By process of elimination, I figured out that my card was either getting solen at McDonalds or K-Mart. The last time it was stolen ruled out K-Mart and then my husband had his stolen and guess where he'd been just a few days earlier? If you guessed McDonalds give yourself a round of applause. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the employees at this McDonalds are running some kind of debit card crime ring. I started using only cash in the drive thru and miraculously my debit card has remained safe. If my card number gets stolen again, it obviously won't be McDonalds and I'll update this review. But I'm doubtful. About a month ago I even had a girl give me grief over paying with cash. She said, "It's so much easier if you pay with a debit card." I just laughed. read more

Clayton rd Mc Donald's is the worst McDonald's ever! I tried to go to the McDonald's on Contra Costa Blvd but friend decided to go to Clayton instead! 1. In the past McDonald's on Clayton forgot to put the hamburger patty,cheese,catchup,onions and pickles! That's right two buns wrapped in paper! 2.I always order a mocha frappe with my meal 80% of the time they do not have it available! The New McDonald's on Contra Costa has the mocha frappe every time I've been there yet. Also they have always remembered to put the hamburger meat in my cheeseburger I will always go there now! I ordered from the drive through today and bought 2 large fries and mcnuggets. I got the mcnuggets in a bag but no fries. I went into the building and they said the fries were in the "first bag." I told them I didn't get 2 separate bags. They told me that they did but started giving me 2 new fries. As I was leaving I asked them if they were large and they said "yes." I looked in the bag again and they had given me mediums. I went back and they gave me a large after I showed them my receipt. I told them to look at their cameras as they didn't seem to believe me that they didn't give me the fries initially. Poor service but in the end they game me an extra fry hence the 2 stars. read more
