Okay I had to come here and brag on the experience I had today 4/12/25 at this particular McDonald's @ 302 W James Lee Blvd in Crestview Fl around 4pm ish . I live about 40 miles away from Crestview but pass through to hit the interstate on occasion when I'm going that way. Today I was passing through on my way back home when I decided to stop in at this McDonald's (mainly because) it was the last fast food place I knew of before getting out of the city limits. I went inside to order because I hate drive thru's. I ordered the special two fish fillet sandwiches for $6 along with a Qtr Pounder meal and couple other things for a family member. The Young man taking my order was very polite and didn't mind at all that I had a few special requests in preparing my food. My order only took about three minutes or so and I was out the door and back on my way home. The real reason I took the time to come back and leave a comment was that this food was cooked unbelievably well. You would have to go all the way back to the mid 80's when McDonald's food was real and not this condensed cooperate version that it's become to be today in order to get food that good. I normally don't do fast food chains for reviews but this one needs to be addressed. When a mobile order is placed for pick up lanes and you check in. I expect the food to come out. But there have been NUMEROUS times where the order doesn't come out even though I wait there an extra 10-15 minutes. I don't exaggerate I look at times and give accurate representations. I then go in there and see my meal sitting there behind the front counter. Fries and meal are then cold. When you tell them that you've been waiting you get rude customer service and it happens again the next time and the next. Management needs to get their act together. You're not a fine dining establishment but when you can't do quick and friendly service you will become obsolete as a go to quick lunch option. read more

I received a cold cappuccino Thursday morning in the drive thru I knew it was cold the moment I touched it I asked what's this she said your coffee. There shake mix was all wrong, it was to much syrup and was way overboard on sweetness. The color of the mix was almost a blood red and not the light pink we all know and love. They need to ensure their systems are working correctly prior to serving it to the customers. read more

Drive- thru has a long line and so I decided to go inside since I'm just ordering ONE item. Of course, the place was disorganized and the ran out of certain things especially ice in the lobby. Very Poor Service. After waiting at the window for Fifteen (15) minutes for my hot cakes meal, I was advised to pull up out of the way. I said I have been here 15 minutes and will wait. The Manager then approached and asked me to move up for him. I said I will wait. He said they were waiting for the eggs and "this is what I should expect since they just opened up". I said you opened up at 5am it is now 630am and eggs should not be an issue. He then said that next time they will deny me service and that McDonalds is no longer considered Fast Food. I said if that happens I will just kindly ask for a refund and I will be on my way. He then says it's company policy to not issue a refund but I will just not be served my food. I do not like using the big monitor there, I like to talk to an employee when ordering. When I got my food, I was missing some of the tenders, it's like they don't count them before handing them off. I watched 2 different people waiting for drinks. One a coffee and ones frappe. Both took over 10 minutes to get. The drive thru seemed to be a mess.
