I dont usually write reviews, but after my visit to this McDonalds. I feel like I have to speak up. I went there hoping to enjoy a quick breakfast and I tried to use a coupon I had along with a discount code. I wasn't using it because I couldn't afford the food. I simply wanted to take advantage of a special offer I had earned. When I asked the manager Anna for help, She was extremely dismissive. Not only did she refuse to accept the coupon but she also spoke to me in a very rude and condescending tone. I felt embarrassed and disrespected. I left the restaurant feeling really upset. Of course, not all McDonald's are the same, and this is actually my first time visiting this branch. An advertisement in the paper notified me that this branch finished their renovation and so I went to. The restaurant is one of the cleaner restaurants I've been to, and the guests mostly were elderly couples. There was a heavy lock on the bathroom door, so the guest needs to request a token to enter. The service shined the most from the total impression of the restaurant. When we ordered "eat here" they gave us the card to set on the table. The "fast" aspect of "fast food" came out strong here. My order came in within five minutes. There is another staff who walks around the restaurant and is ready to clean and clear the tables once the guests leave. This made sense why the place felt so clean and welcoming. Onto the food. I want to praise the french fries because it was well-done. Still piping hot and all of the fries were crispy. They gave me order to the car ahead and the car ahead realized it was wrong after they went through the bag including opening all the sandwiches. Once I arrived I noticed a long line in the drive through that didn't seem to move and after a long wait an employee came out to let me know that they were not open for another 30 minutes even though the app said they were currently open and taking orders. After 30 minutes another employee came out to let me know that no food was ready. At this point I requested a refund so I could just go on with my day. This employee returned 15 minutes later to let me know that a refund was not possible because the cash register was not open.
